Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap keberadaan konsepsi paralel pada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika tentang dinamika gaya. Masalah yangdikemukakan adalah: bagaimanakah karakteristik konsepsi paralel yang terjadi pada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika dalam materidinamika? Sejumlah 150 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika disodori dua macam soal tentang konsep/konteks dinamika dan tentanggaya pada gerak jatuh bebas. Analisis jawaban tes tertulis mengindikasikan adanya kosepsi paralel pada mahasiswa, sehinggadilakukan wawancara lebih lanjut terhadap 48 mahasiswa. yang mempunyai informasi data konsepsi paralel paling banyak(opportunistic sampling). Berdasarkan hasil analisis kualitatif terhadap jawaban siswa saat tes tertulis maupun tes wawancaradisimpulkan (1) ada konsepsi paralel yang terjadi pada mahasiswa dengan berbagai tingkat semester dengan kualitas berpikiryang semakin baik pada semester lebih tinggi, namun ada juga konsepsi paralel yang terjadi pada semua tingkat semester denganciri yang sama, (2) beberapa latar belakang penyebab konsepsi paralel ialah faktor intuisi, fragmentasi, pembelajaran, apresiasikonseptual dan faktor kerangka teori spesifik. This research reveals the existence of physics students parallel concept about dynamics force. The problem is what are thecharacteristics of parallel concept of the students in learning the topic of dynamics. There are 150 students who were assigned twokinds of concepts. They were dynamics concept and force in free falling body concept. The students answers indicate studentsparallel concept happens to the students, so that interview sessions to 48 students having more information about parallel conceptwere done (opportunistic sampling). Based on to the results of the qualitative analysis in both treatments, there are two conclusions.They are: (1) there is a parallel concept of students from various semester levels with a better thinking quality of a higher semesterlevel, but there is also a parallel concept of students from all semester levels with the same characteristics; (2) there are somebackgrounds which cause the parallel concept, such as the factors of intuition, fragmentation, learning process, conceptualappreciation, and specific theory domain.Keywords: dynamics force; parallel concept; physics students

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks pemecahan masalah terhadap peningkatan social skill siswa. Pada proses penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks pemecahan masalah siswa dibagi dalam kelompok-kelompok dan satu kelompok terdiri dari dua orang. Setiap kelompok berdiskusi untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah, kemudian hasil diskusi kelompok akan dicek oleh pasangan dari kelompok lain. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dua siklus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket skala sikap, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Social Skill siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini didapatkan dari data angket skala sikap siklus I ke siklus II ketuntasan klasikalnya meningkat dan sebagian besar siswa sudah memiliki social skill yang baik. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Pair Checks pemecahan masalah dapat meningkatkan social skill siswa.This two cycles-action research aimed to know learning process applying cooperative learning model-pair checks problem solving type and improvement of student’s social skills. The process of the model was as follows: deviding students into some groups consisting of two students, solving problem by each group and checking result of the discussion by other groups. Data collection method used was test and the use of attitude scale questionnaire, while technique of data analysis used was quantitative data analysis technique. The data analysis result showed that there was an increase of student’s social skill and students’ achievement from cycle one to two. It is concluded that cooperative learning model-pair checks problem solving type can enhance student’s social skills

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dan efektivitas model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) terhadap pemahaman siswa pada konsep energi dalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen kependidikan (educational experiment research), dengan rancangan pre test-post test control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah dua kelompok belajar yang terdiri atas 32 siswa (eksperimen) dan 32 siswa (kontrol) kelas XI IPA di SMA N 2 Ungaran tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji gain dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dalam pembelajaran fisika SMA efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa.ABSTRACTThe physics learning on concept of the internal energy was carried out through application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. This study aimed to determining the improvement of students’ concept understanding and the effectiveness of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model on students’ understanding of the internal energy concept. The research used educational experiment research with pre test-post test control group design. The subject of research consisted of 32 students in eksperimental group and 32 students in control group of XI IPA SMA N 2 Ungaran, academic year 2013/2014. The data were analyzed by using gain test and t test. The result showed that there was an increase of students’ concept understanding and the outcome of students’ cognitive learning. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model in teaching physics in high school was an effective way to enhance students’ concept understanding.

Abstract

Learning behavior and metacognitive skill of students affect cognitive value and level of understanding of each student. The application of the "One Day One Diary for Science" program is needed in learning to train students metacognitive skills and independence in learning science. This study was performed to find out the learning behavior, the development of metacognitive skills, and both relation. The study was conducted by observation, interview, and documentation on 33 junior high school students. The result of the study was analyzed the domain, taxonomy, components, and culture growth, so the data of learning behavior and metacognitive skill of students based on the score level can be obtained. Based on data analysis, learning behavior and metacognitive skill on a higher grade is higher than the other classes. There is a strong correlation between learning behavior and metacognitive skills.Perilaku belajar dan kemampuan metakognitif  siswa mempengaruhi nilai kognitif dan tingkat pemahaman setiap siswa. Penerapan program  “ One Day One Diary for Science”  diperlukan dalam pembelajaran sains untuk melatih kemampuan metakognitif dan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku belajar, perkembangan kemampuan metakognitif, dan hubungan keduanya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengambilan data melalui  pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta triangulasi data dengan cara memperpanjang lama pengamatan pada 33 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis domain, taksonomi, komponensial, dan temuan budaya, sehingga diperoleh data perilaku belajar sains  dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa berdasarkan tingkatan kelas. Berdasarkan analisis data, perilaku belajar sains dan kemampuan metakogntif pada kelas atas lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas lain. Terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara perilaku belajar dan kemampuan metakognitif

Abstract

Berbagai model pembelajaran dikembangkan untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sehingga mampu bersaing manghadapi tantangan dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dilengkapi penilaian portofolio untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment, dengan desain control group pre test post tes design. Kelas X4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 85,67 dan kelas kontrol adalah 75,84. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji gain, peningkatan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen menunjukkan kriteria peningkatan yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dilengkapi penilaian portofolio efektif untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa. Many types of learning are developed for practising critical thinking knowledge of students to make them can face world challenge. This study was conducted to know the effectiveness of guided inkuiri  learning which was completed with portfolio assessment to increase critical thinking of Senior High School students. The research method that is used in this study is quasy-experimental research, which has control group pre test and post test design.  There are two classess in this study, that are X4 class as experiment class and X5 class as control class. This study result shows the average of students’ critical thinking in experiment class is 85,67 and control class is 75,84. Based gain analise, it shows there is an increasing of students’ critical thinking in experiment class high criteria. From this result, it is concluded that inkuiri terbimbing learning that is completed with portfolio assessment is effective to increase students’ critical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to create physics teaching resources that would enhance students' 21st century skills in renewable energy. The RD approach was used in conjunction with data collection methods including both test and non-test modes. This study involved three validators who assessed the learning materials from the perspectives of both material and media aspects. According to the assessment results, the material aspect received a rating of 'very good,' whereas the media aspect scored 'good.' The enhancement of 21st century learning competencies was gauged through pretest and posttest evaluation, revealing a rise in critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, use of ICTs, as well as life and career skills. The study determined that the PjBL-Based Physics Edu learning materials could serve as a reliable instructional tool for teaching renewable energy topics with moderate effectiveness.
