Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can expand employment and provide economic contribution to economic development, and increase public incomes as well as boost economic growth. Thus, they play a role in achieving national economic stability. However, the quality of human resources in SMEs still low, as well as advanced production techniques, low innovation, and lower banking access. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of entrepreneurship of human resource of SMEs towards the performance of SMEs in South Sulawesi. The population study was all SMEs in South Sulawesi by clustering at four cities: Makassar, Pare-Pare, Takalar, and Bulukumba totaled 680,610 business units with 3,403,150 workers. The purposive sampling and random sampling of 160 respondents was employed and the analysis was by using multiple linear regressions. It shows that knowledge of entrepreneurship has positive but not significant influence towards the performance of SMEs. Entrepreneurial Skills and competence both have positive and significant influence towards the performance of SMEs because they were able to manage the business, although not evenly. Entrepreneurship ability more dominantly affects the performance of SMEs due to the volume of business or sales began to increase, with net profit rising.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of individual competence, work discipline and partial supervision of employee work productivity, (2) the effect of individual competence, work discipline and supervision simultaneously on employee work productivity, (3) analyze which variable is the most dominant affect employee productivity. The sample of this study was 36 respondents of Barru Regency Cooperative, SME and Trade Service employees, using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of hypothesis testing show that (1) individual competence (X1) and supervision (X2) have a positive and partially significant effect on work productivity, with a tcount of 2.235> ttable 2.036; and tcount 2.126> ttable 2.0. Work discipline does not have a significant effect on work productivity with a tcount of 0.623 <ttable 2.036, (2) F test results indicate that individual competence, work discipline and supervision have a simultaneous effect on work productivity, this can be seen from the Fcount value of 11.391> Ftable 2.86. Determinant coefficient test results show that the influence of independent variables (individual competence, work discipline and supervision) on the dependent variable (work productivity) is only 51.6%, while the remaining 48.4% is influenced by other variables not examined, (3) Variables the most dominant individual competencies influence employee productivity

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze: 1) the direct influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee job satisfaction in the Majene Regency Regional Financial and Asset Agency, 2) the direct influence of transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance in the Majene Regency Regional Finance and Asset Agency, and 3) the indirect effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on performance through employee job satisfaction at the Regional Finance and Assets Agency in Majene Regency This research design uses survey research. Location of the study was in the Regional Finance and Assets Agency in Majene Regency. The study was conducted from October to November 2019. The population in this study included all employees of the Majene Regency Financial and Asset Agency, amounting to 97 people. Sampling of this study was carried out using a saturated sampling technique (census), namely determining the entire population to be sampled as many as 97 employees of the Majene Regency Finance and Assets Agency. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant direct effect on transformational leadership and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Financial and Asset Regional Agency of Majene Regency, 2) there was a positive and significant direct effect on transformational leadership and work motivation on employee performance in Regional Finance and Assets Agency of Majene Regency, and 3) there is a positive and significant influence indirectly on transformational leadership and work motivation on performance through employee job satisfaction at the Regional Finance and Asset Agency of Majene Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of transformational leadership and job satisfaction with work motivation as an intervening variable on employee performance at PT Mandiri Utama Finance employees. This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at PT Mandiri Utama Finance. The time of the study began in July 2020. The study population was all employees of PT Mandiri Utama Finance, amounting 180 peoples. The sample selection in this study was carried out using purposive sampling method, namely sampling with certain criteria. Where the criteria for respondents specified in this study are respondents who are currently working at PT. Mandiri Utama Finance with the status of a permanent employee. Because this study focuses on leadership, so the sample in this study selects employees who have junior. So that the sample in this study amounted to 68 people. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There was an effect of transformational leadership on employee performance, 2) There was an effect of job satisfaction on employee performance, 3) There was an effect of transformational leadership on work motivation, 4) There was an effect of job satisfaction on work motivation, 5) There was an influence work motivation on employee performance, 6) There was an effect of transformational leadership on employee performance through work motivation, and 7) There was an effect of job satisfaction on employee performance through work motivation. The importance of transformational leadership, job satisfaction and work motivation because it can affect the performance level of an employee.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyze the effect of HR competence consisting of knowledge, skills and attitudes partially and simultaneously on the work performance of employees at the Regional Research and Development Agency of Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency, and the most dominant variable influencing employee performance at the Research and Development Agency Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency. This research approach uses survey research. The research was carried out at the Regional Research and Development Agency of Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency. The time of the study was conducted from September 2019 to November 2019. The population used in this study were all employees at the Regional Research and Development Agency of Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency, amounting to 40 people. The results showed that HR competencies consisting of knowledge, skills and attitues partially and simultaneously on the work performance of employees at the Regional Research and Development Agency of Pangkajene and Islands Districts, as well as the most dominant knowledge variable influenced the employee performance at the Regional Research and Development Agency Pangkajene and Islands.
