Abstract

This research and development aims to developing a learning model Guided Project Based Learning that can be implemented for slow learners or slow learners or normal students in one learning environment. This model was applied in Multimedia II course in STIKI Malang visual communication design study program for five meetings.The development method for developing this Guided Project Based Learning learning model uses the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carey. The steps of developing a learning model using the ADDIE development model consist of 5 steps, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The sample in this study was the 5th semester visual communication design student where there were slowlearner students. Data was collected by mapping through the stages of psychological testing.The results of the mapping found 1 student with special needs slow learner type. Implementation of the GPBL model proves students can understand the material and follow systematically the design of simple games. In addition, the student is actively able to explain game design concepts.

Abstract

In an effort to support the effectiveness of sales, various production methods and processes as well as promotional activities in creating, introducing and selling the resulting products will be widely encountered in the current era. One of the means to sell products is to use print media and electronic media as promotional tools and means of communication. Utilization of print media, produces something in physical form, in addition to the use of electronic media, it produces some content to retain customers with social media features. This paper will discuss the process of designing a mascot as one of the promotional media to increase the selling value of a brand.

Abstract

SLB Sumber Dharma Malang City is an educational institution for mild mentally retarded, physically handicapped, and autistic children. SDLB Sumber Dharma Malang city does not yet have teaching media with visuals regarding daily activities that are clear and appropriate for SDLB students. Through the development of the SDLB book media entitled "Aku Anak Mandiri" with the aim of learning visual narrative media as an effort to develop children's character. Using data collection qualitative methods of observation, interviews, and literature. The instrument in the development of this book is 5W+1H Analysis, while the design method used is Design Thinking. The implementation of the mentally retarded learning module competence A contains 3 chapters; Covering Hygiene, Eating and Drinking; and Dress, as standard SDLB material. The illustration is designed using the concept of an illustrated story with 3 main characters, namely Kevin, Putri, and Maruna as a representation of children with various ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds of the Indonesian people. The teaching material contains questions in the form of formative and multiple-choice tests as student assessments. The trial was carried out on two validators, namely DKV lecturers and SDLB Sumber Dharma teachers with an assessment of each aspect of the media and teaching materials. The results of the trial were considered appropriate with the suitability of picture story books as learning media for SDLB Sumber Dharma students.

Abstract

Beji Village is one of several villages in the Junrejo District area which is located on the main road to Batu City. Beji Village is divided into three hamlets: Krajan Sae, Sawahan, and Karang Jambe. Most of the residents of Beji Village work at home as tempe producers. However, the community is still not familiar with tempe made by Beji Village, including its processed products. This is due to the lack of promotion from the villagers themselves. Designing this promotional video requires several methods. Starting from the data collection stage which was carried out by interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Next, we conducted a literature study and conducted an analysis using the SWOT analysis technique. The promotional media used is video media. This promotion entitled "Tempenesia" which uses the concept of story telling and inserts the concept of soft selling of processed products in it. The final test results from this Video got a total score of 566 out of a maximum total score of 572 in the very good category.

Abstract

In the celebration of Easter there are also activities for children, where children engage in prayer, drama, Easter eggs, and listen to light sermons. Usually, though, when giving a talk to children, children often feel bored, and it is not uncommon for them to play on their own. Hence the introduction of this multifaceted storybook was used as a supporting media for the talk, where children not only listen and see but also interact directly with the activities in the storybook. The method used in this design is DRS. Sadjiman ebbe at Santoyo, Data collection techniques of interviews and observations. With analysis results using a 5w + 1h analysis as a data analysis. The result of this plan of the Passover storybook book has a major media supporting an a4 book with a total of 34 pages using a hardcover, printed on 260 full-color art paper, and has 5 activities in 1 book

Abstract

STIKI Malang sebagai salah satu PT penerima Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka(PMM), telah melaksanakan rangkaian kegiatan PMM seperti Modul Nusantara. Dalam rangkaian kegiatan Modul Nusantara terdapat kegiatan kontribusi sosial yang dilaksanakan di wilayah sekitar perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan kontribusi sosial yang dilaksanakan memiliki tema pelestarian budaya nusantara dan pengenalan tanaman toga. Kegiatan kontribusi sosial dilaksanakan di SDN Karangbesuki 4. Kegiatan kontribusi sosial yang dilaksanakan oleh kelompok 2 mahasiswa PMM Inbound STIKI Malang terdiri dari kegiatan pengenalan budaya nusantara yaitu wayang topeng malangan sekaligus mengajak siswa-siswi SDN Karangbesuki 4 untuk menanam toga di wilayah sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan kontribusi sosial tersebut adalah mampu memberikan ilmu dan wawasan bagi siswa-siswi SDN Karangbesuki 4 khususnya dalam mengenali budaya Wayang Topeng Malangan dan wawasan tentang melestarikan tanaman toga yang dapat memberikan dampak baik bagi kesehatan.

Abstract

Kontribusi sosial dilaksanakan dengan tema memperkenalkan budaya panji pada anak usia dini sebagai bentuk nyata terhadap pengetahuan kebhinekaan dari kegiatan-kegiatan Modul Nusantara yang merupakan salah satu program dari kegiatan Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka(PMM). Kegiatan kontribusi sosial ini diikuti oleh kelompok 1 mahasiswa PMM Inbound STIKI Malang yang berasal dari berbagai Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Swasta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan melakukan renovasi perpustakaan PAUD Baiturrachman yang menjadi tempat baca dan sekaligus memberikan sosialisasi tentang budaya Panji sebagai budaya Nusantara. Kegiatan tersebut dapat membantu siswa-siswi PAUD untuk menambah ilmu melalui perpustakaan tersebut serta manfaat, pengetahuan, dan pembelajaran baru khususnya tentang budaya nusantara dan menanamkan rasa kebhinekaan bagi siswa/i PAUD Baiturrahman. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut dapat memberikan kontribusi berupa peralatan pendukung perpustakaan yang dapat mendorong minat baca untuk siswa-siswi PAUD Baiturrachman sekaligus mengenali budaya Panji sebagai salah satu budaya Nusantara yang beragam.

Abstract

Kegiatan Modul Nusantara merupakan rangkaian dari kegiatan Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) yang terdiri dari kegiatan Kebhinekaan, Refleksi, Inspirasi dan Kontribusi Sosial. Kegiatan kontribusi sosial oleh mahasiswa PMM Inbound STIKI Malang, dilaksanakan di SMP Muhammadiyah 6. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh kelompok 3 terdiri dari kegiatan workshop pengenalan budaya panji sekaligus mengajak siswa-siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 6 untuk melukis topeng menggunakan media lukis. Hasil dari kegiatan kontribusi sosial tersebut adalah mendapatkan ilmu dan wawasan bagi siswa-siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 6 khususnya dalam mengenali budaya Wayang Topeng Malangan dan wawasan tentang melukis topeng malangan sebagai warisan budaya nusantara.
