Abstract

This book also explains about the origin of batik patterns from its region. Batik, which is the authentic traditional clothing of East Java, is losing its existence. Less knowledge about East Java batik makes it more outdated particularly from younger generation. This fashion photography book is expected to be a guide and solution for younger generation appreciating and perceiving fashion style, especially East Java batik. This fashion photography book is made to actively exhibit various kind of East Java batik that making an actual progress day by day. The information about the pattern of the batik is shown in this book, so that the public become more familiar with the origin of East Java batik. Perhaps, this book can increase the public interest to wear the origin batik of East Java.There are two sources of the data taken for this fashion photography book, which are primary and secondary data. The data collected by interviewing several interviewees, observing several books, and using the modification framework plan by Sanyoto. The result of this book design can be used as the media of fashion photography book for public to know more about East Java batik. This book can be used to educate and increase the public awareness and interest to wear the traditional attire specifically, East Java batik.

Abstract

Borderline Personality Disorder is a pattern of an unstable interpersonal relationship, self-image, emotion and impulsivity that started in early adulthood and shown by diverse contexts, the patient will experience denial interpersonal disturbance, impulsive behaviour and unstable mood which can put others or themselves in dangerous situation that can lead to suicidal behaviour. Borderline Personality Disorder can be diagnosed by some criteria of diagnosis but Indonesian people lack of knowledge in the importance of mental health can make the patients have some difficulty on getting the right treatment which can be seen on some cases where the mental disorder patients got shackled by their own families. A media that can show the occurrence and the symptoms can help public to understand what’s really happening to the patients of borderline personality disorder, that’s why manga comic can be the right media to give the information of the meaning, causes, symptoms, and how to handle it because the illustration can show the details of what the borderline personality disorder’s patients are really felt. Data collecting technique using interview and literature study, Borderline personality disorder comic designed in digital and have the main support media which is comic book in manga style on A5 paper size with 85 pages in total, 5 chapters in total, 15 pages per-chapter, coloured cover and chapter breaker, and black and white monochromatic main content.

Abstract

Balinese script has become a local content subject starting from elementary school to secondary education level, but Balinese script which still uses learning methods from book media is one factor in the disinterest in learning Balinese script, resulting in reduced children's interest in learning Balinese script. a new media to increase children's interest in learning Balinese script, namely the introduction of Balinese script for low-grade elementary schools based on motion graphics. The design of the Balinese script recognition media uses data collection methods such as observations, interviews, and documents. For the design method using pre-production, production and post-production stages. The final result of the introduction of Balinese script for elementary schools based on motion graphics produces Balinese script recognition media in the form of motion graphics as the main media as well as supporting media in the form of posters, X-banners and Instagram feet and merchandise. Conclusion The design of Balinese script recognition media for low grade elementary schools based on motion graphics has been successfully designed as a Balinese script recognition media using motion graphics.

Abstract

Perkembangan suatu bangsa ditentukan oleh kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Dalam hal ini, tanpa terkecuali SDM yang berstatus sebagai warga binaan pemasyarakatan. Upaya pengembangan SDM merupakan upaya terencana yang dilakukan secara berkesinambungan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi maupun kualitas seseorang. Pada tahun 2020 ini fokus pengembangan SDM bagi warga binaan dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kesehatan dunia yang disebabkan oleh virus Covid-19. Sehingga diperlukan keterampilan tambahan untuk menunjang kesehatan seluruh warga binaan. Keterampilan tambahan ini dikhususkan agar warga binaan mampu secara mandiri merespon dan bertindak baik dalam mengahadapi ancaman virus Covid-19.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi upgrade skill bagi warga binaan dan dampak Covid-19 bagi warga binaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di LAPAS kelas 1 Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa upgrade skill bagi warga binaan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri serta rasa percaya diri, selanjutnya dampak Covid-19 bagi warga binaan yaitu terkait sejumlah kebijakan baru yang diterapkan di LAPAS.

Abstract

Abstract The Class 1 penitentiary of Malang has several work guidance which is used as a forum to equip the inmate's skills during their sentence. One of the work guidance that is of concern at this time is the work guidance of shibori batik. Conditions in the field indicate that there is still a lack of knowledge possessed by the inmates which can be seen from the work produced in this work guidance. Information was also obtained from the person in charge of working guidance for shibori batik, in his explanation he said that there was still a lack of knowledge and techniques for making shibori. Therefore, it is very necessary to provide material in the form of knowledge and techniques for making shibori in more detail so that the insight of the inmates also develops and generates new creative ideas. The solution offered to solve these problems is to provide training in making shibori motifs and manufacturing techniques. The method was used in the form of lectures and demonstrations which were attended by 30 trainees. This activity was greeted with great enthusiasm by the inmates. Various techniques of making shibori were tried to produce a variety of motifs produced by each participant. The training activities ran smoothly and received support from various parties so that the training activities could be carried out optimally Abstrak Lapas Kelas 1 Malang memiliki beberapa bimbingan kerja yang digunakan sebagai wadah untuk membekali keterampilan warga binaan selama menjalani masa hukuman. Salah satu bimbingan kerja yang menjadi perhatian saat ini adalah bimbingan kerja batik shibori. Kondisi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa masih minimnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh warga binaan yang terlihat dari hasil karya yang dihasilkan pada bimbingan kerja ini. Informasi juga digali dari penanggungjawab bimbingan kerja batik shibori, dalam penjelasannya mengatakan memang masih minim untuk pengetahuan dan Teknik pembuatan shibori. Oleh karena itu sangat diperlukan pemberian materi berupa pengetahuan dan teknik pembuatan sibori lebih detail sehingga wawasan warga binaan juga berkembang dan memunculkan ide-ide kreatif baru. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan motif shibori dan teknik pembuatannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan berupa ceramah dan demonstrasi yang diikuti oleh 30 peserta pelatihan. Kegiatan ini disambut dengan sangat antusias oleh warga binaan. Berbagai teknik pembuatan shibori dicoba sehingga dapat menghasilkan beragam motif yang dihasilkan oleh setiap peserta. Kegitan pelatihan berjalan lancar dan mendapatkan support dari berbagai pihak sehingga kegiatan pelatihan dapat dilaksanakan dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Geopark teksas wonocolo merupakan wisata migas no 1 di Indonesia karena keunikannya. Namun beberapa tahun terakhir mengalami penurunan kunjungan wisatawan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan narasumber penurunan kunjungan wisatawan ini dikarenakan oleh kurangnya media promosi. Oleh sebab itu peneliti berusaha untuk merancang sebuah media promosi berupa buku profil wisata untukmemperkenalkan teksas wonocolo ke masyarakat yang lebih luas. Perancangan buku profil ini menggunakan metode design thinking yang meliputi 5 tahap : emphatize, define, ideation, prototype, dan test. Buku profil yang telah selesai dirancang kemudian dinilai dan diujikan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifannya. Terdapat 41 responden yang memberikan nilai sangat sejutu dengan rata rata presentase 64 %. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini layak untuk diterbitkan di khalayak.

Abstract

In the celebration of Easter there are also activities for children, where children engage in prayer, drama, Easter eggs, and listen to light sermons. Usually, though, when giving a talk to children, children often feel bored, and it is not uncommon for them to play on their own. Hence the introduction of this multifaceted storybook was used as a supporting media for the talk, where children not only listen and see but also interact directly with the activities in the storybook. The method used in this design is DRS. Sadjiman ebbe at Santoyo, Data collection techniques of interviews and observations. With analysis results using a 5w + 1h analysis as a data analysis. The result of this plan of the Passover storybook book has a major media supporting an a4 book with a total of 34 pages using a hardcover, printed on 260 full-color art paper, and has 5 activities in 1 book
