Abstract

Research has conducted using of activated charcoal from durian skin as an adsorbent of ion Pb2+ on water. This study aims to determine the effect of high adsorbent activated charcoal of durian skin and influence of adsorbent elution time. The method used in this study is SSA. The research design is applied is an RAL, with an independent variable are high adsorbent and adsorbent elution time. In this research, the variation applied adsorbent is 13.5 cm high, 18 cm, 22.5 cm, and 27 cm and variations adsorbent of the elution time are first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth hour. The results showed that activated charcoal of durian’s skin 27 cm has a higher adsorption with the variation of high adsorbent with high levels of ion Pb is 80.019% and for variations in elution time adsorbent obtained the use of the first hour is more effective , Activated charcoal durian skin can be used as an adsorbent decreased levels of Pb ion in the water until the sixth hour. Keywords:  activated charcoal, adsorbent, durian skin, Pb2+.

Abstract

Flora information of bryophyte in Sulawesi were limited found. Research on the bryophyte diversity at the different elevation of Mount Rore Kautimbu Lore Lindu National Park (LLNP) Central Sulawesi which had conducted from December 2013 to February 2014 was an effort to completed data and information of Bryophyte in Sulawesi. Bryophytes were sampled in three forest type s.a Sub-Montane Forest (1448 masl), Montane (2022 masl) and Alpine (2518 masl). In each zone was placed the plot size is 20 x 20 m sub-plots with measuring 1 x 1 m to substrate rocks, soil, decayed wood and plots 10 x 30 cm on the substrate of the tree. Data were analyzed by calculating the value of frequency, density, an important value index and the index of diversity according to the Shannon-Wiener. Research results gained as much as 41 species consists of 21 species mosses and 20 species of liverworts, which was dominated by the family dicranaceae. Based on the type of diversity Indices according to the Shannon-Wiener diversity was found in the highest zone of bryophytes and Alpine zones (H ' = 2.79) followed by Montane zone (H ' = 2,52) and Sub-Montane zone (H ' = 2.20).   Keywords:Bryophyta, Diversity, elevation, LLNP

Abstract

This research explores the role of participatory management in empowering rural communities and its impact on sustainable development. The main focus is directed towards the mechanisms of community involvement in decision-making, program implementation, and village development evaluation. Through a qualitative approach with case studies in several villages in Indonesia, this research shows that the systematic implementation of participatory management can enhance residents' sense of ownership of village programs, strengthen social capital, and produce development that is more responsive to community needs. This research refers to the literature and recent study results, including from Ikopin University, to strengthen the theoretical foundation and analysis.
