Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the employee engagement and the big five personality on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The object of this research is the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Surakarta City Private University. The research used the quantitative method, with SPSS 23.0, for analyzing the data. The data obtained by  distributing a list of questions to 36 lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, Surakarta City Private University, using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was tested using validity and reliability tests. Prior to the hypothesis test using the multiple linear regression analysis tool, the classical assumption test was carried out, while the t test used to determine the significance of the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable. To find out whether the regression model can be used to predict the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable or the model accuracy test, the F test is used. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that employee engagement has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, while big five personality have positive but insignificant effect on the organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

This extension activity was conducted for PKK, Kel. Tegalhardjo, Kec. Jebres, Kota Surakarta. The outcomes of this activity are: cheap participants' knowledge of the concept of entrepreneurship so that they have the right knowledge; benefit participants' insights on how to start a business and choose the right type of business; benefit participants' insights about possible business failures and ways to enter and resolve business failures. This activity is carried out with the following stages: Selection of participants to the community service, namely the board and members of PKK; Submission of lecture materials, with a view to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit; Implementation of evaluation Evaluation is done by: before counseling conducted a question-answer to know each participant's initial knowledge about entrepreneurship special techniques or how to start a business. After the counseling finished the question and answer again about the same material. By comparing the results of answers that have been done, it will be known whether there is an increase in knowledge about the entrepreneurship and scope.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh kemampuan kerja, lingkungan kerja dan disiplin terhadap kinerja Pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Karanganyar. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh pegawai tetap Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Karanganyar serjumlah 55 pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisi data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F dan koefiisien determinasi. Penelitian ini    menunjukkan kemampuan kerja    tidak memberikan pengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.  Lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif-- signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Karanganyar.
