Abstract

This study examines how attitudes toward smartwatches and their consequences for behavioral intention to use are influenced by perceived utility, perceived ease of use, and subcultural appeal. Researchers will employ a descriptive research design type of study. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data using convenience and non-probability sampling. This study's population consists of smartwatch wearers. In this study, convenience sampling is combined with a non-probability sampling strategy. The structural equation model method will be used to examine the data in this study. Several conclusions were drawn from this study's data processing and analysis results. First, their mobility positively impacts the perceived ease of use of smartwatches. Perceived usefulness is positively affected by perceived simplicity of usage. Third, attitudes regarding smartwatches are positively impacted by perceived utility. Fourth, perceptions regarding smartwatches are positively affected by subcultural appeal. Fifth, behavioral intention to use is positively impacted by perceived usefulness, meaning that consumers are more likely to continue using a smartwatch if they believe it to be beneficial. Lastly, a user's attitude about their wristwatch positively impacts their behavioral intention to use it. This means that the more positively a user feels about their smartwatch, the more likely they will use it going forward.

Abstract

The0objective of this0study is to determine0if there is a0correlation between the work0environment0(X1) and work discipline0 (X2) and job satisfaction (Y) among workers of PT. 0Pertamina0Lubricants, Jakarta. The study0used a quantitative methodology, with0questionnaires as the primary means of data collecting. The study used a sample size of 56 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this research are validity0test, reliability0test, correlation coefficient0analysis, multiple0linear regression0analysis, t0test,F0test, and0determination analysis0using the SPSS0250program. The0research results show that the t0value for0the work environment variable0 (X1) is03.168 > ttable (2.005). Consequently, H1 is deemed valid but H01 is deemed invalid, indicating that0the work0environment has0a substantial and0beneficial impact on the job0satisfaction0of PT employees. Pertamina Lubricants. The calculated value0for the work0discipline variable0(X2) is01.400 < ttable (2.005). This means that H2 is rejected0and H02 is0accepted, which means0that work0discipline has0no0significant influence0on job satisfaction of PT employees. Pertamina Lubricants. Meanwhile, the Fcount value is 57.051>Ftable 3.172. Consequently, the0null hypothesis0H03 is refuted while the alternative0hypothesis H3 is supported. The0analysis indicates a notable combined impact of the work environment0and work0discipline on0employee job0satisfaction at0PT. Pertamina Lubricants. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 68.3%, indicating that 68.3% of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by the work0environment and0work0discipline. The0remaining 31.7% of the variation is attributed to0other factors0that were0not0included in0this0study.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of compensation on employee performance at PT Bintang Teknik in Jakarta, driven by concerns over unequal pay structures and unclear bonus systems, which may lower motivation and productivity. The primary objective is to analyze whether compensation both financial and non-financial significantly affects employee performance. A quantitative research design was employed using a saturated sampling method, involving all 50 employees as respondents. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, Pearson correlation, coefficient of determination (R²), and t-test with the aid of SPSS 25. The results reveal a strong and significant relationship between compensation and employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.654 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.428. The regression analysis indicates that an increase in compensation corresponds to a measurable increase in performance (Y = 21.187 + 0.748X), and the t-test confirms statistical significance (t = 5.993, p < 0.05). These findings support previous studies and reinforce the importance of fair and structured compensation systems in enhancing employee motivation, discipline, and accountability. The study concludes that compensation is a key strategic factor in driving employee performance and recommends continuous improvement of reward systems to support organizational goals.
