Abstract

Background: The kidneys have a very important role in maintaining a healthy body. The kidneys experience acute renal failure when the kidney cannot function suddenly. Without kidney replacement therapy, deaths from metabolic disorders can occur quickly. One kidney replacement therapy can be done is hemodialysis. Although hemodialysis is safe and beneficial for patients, it does not mean without side effects. Various complications can occur when patients undergo hemodialysis one of which is intradialisis hypertension. This complication can lead to new, more complex problems, including discomfort, increasing stress affecting the quality of life, worsening the patient's condition and even causing death. Objective To determine the description of blood pressure changes in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in the Hemodialysis room at TK II Pelamonia Hospital Makassar. Methods: This study used a descriptive survey method with a case study approach. Results: Research shows that patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy experience changes in blood pressure in pre and post hemodialysis. Conclusion: There is an effect of hemodialysis on changes in blood pressure in patients with kidney failure in the Hemodialysis Room of TK. II Pelamonia Hospital Makassar.

Abstract

Background: Hyperlipidemia is one of the risk factors for atherosclerosis, which can cause coronary heart disease and stroke. To prevent this from happening, it is essential to detect early the level of lipid profile in human blood which includes Total Cholesterol (C-Total), High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL), and Triglycerides (TG). Furthermore, one of the ways to control the cholesterol levels is by applying self-efficacy. In this respect, self-efficacy assessment was carried out by using a questionnaire called the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale (ESES) and the Cardiac Diet Self-Efficacy Scale (CDSES). The purpose of this literature review is to describe the effectiveness of self-efficacy on lipid profile in hyperlipidemic patients.Method: The literature review was gained from Pubmed, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and secondary literature search.Result: There were 37 articles identified and published from 2012-2018. Of the 37 articles, there were 7 articles that met the inclusion criteria. As a result, these seven articles show that the application of self-efficacy is able to improve the patients' self-confidence.Conclusion: The application of self-efficacy is able to help nurses increase the patients' self-confidence. In addition, self-efficacy assessment can be performed by using self-efficacy instruments in an effort to control the lipid profile of hyperlipidemic patients. Keywords: Self-efficacy, Lipid Profile, Hyperlipidemia

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Prevalensi osteoarthtritis mengalami peningkatan seiring bertambahnya usia disertai gangguan fungsional. Simpulan: closed kinetic chain exercise efektif meningkatkan kemampuan fungsionalpada penderita osteoarthritis knee.

Abstract

Introduction: The prevalence of stroke each year is increasing. Strokes that are not treated properly will cause a decrease in the patient’s quality of life. Aim: provide an overview of evidence from previous studies on quality of life in post-stroke patients before and after spiritual emotional freedom technique intervention. Method: Conduct a literature review by searching through electronic databases namely Garuda, Pubmed, and Google Scholar, and obtained 3 relevant research articles from 2011-2021 based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: After being given the ACT of SEFT found an improvement in quality of life in post-stroke patients. Conclusion: Terapi SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) is effective in improving the quality of life in post-stroke patients.

Abstract

Introduction: The impact on head injury is trauma to the scalp, brain, and skull, so to maintain stable oxygenation in body and brain tissues, oxygen therapy is very important in head injury patients so that oxygen saturation levels increase. Objective: To determine the description of oxygen therapy on changes in oxygen saturation levels in clients with head injuries. Methods: descriptive case study with the subjects used were 2 patients through inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Results: Changes in oxygen saturation levels in patients Head injuries A and H for 3 days experienced an increase after receiving oxygen therapy of 3 L/minute through a nasal cannula. Abstract

Introduction: Head injury is one of the cases that can cause death for the sufferer. Complaints that patients with head injuries often feel are headaches. One of the non-pharmacological techniques that can be done is slow deep breathing or slow deep breathing relaxation, which physiologically can cause a relaxing effect. Objective: Knowing the description of head-injured patients with Slow Deep Breathing therapy intervention in reducing Pain. Methods: a descriptive case study with the subjects used were two patients through inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: respondent H experienced a decrease in pain level from a pain scale of 6 (moderate Pain) to a pain scale of 3 (mild Pain), and Respondent F experienced a decrease in pain level from a pain scale of 4 (moderate Pain) to a pain scale of 2 (mild Pain). Conclusion: Slow, Deep Breathing Therapy can reduce Pain.
