Abstract

ABSTRAKPersamaan garis singgung melalui suatu titik di luar elips dapat ditentukan dengan satu alternatif yaitu dengan metode substitusi diskriminan. Pada tulisan ini akan dibahas alternatif lain  menentukan persamaan garis singgung melalui suatu titik di luar elips dengan cara garis kutub, dibahas pula koordinat titik singgung dari titik di luar elips.Kata Kunci:  Garis singgung elips ABSTRACTEquation of a tangent through a point outside the ellips can be determined with one alternative that is discrimination substitution. In this article will discuss about another alternative through the equation tangent through a point outside the ellips, by means of line poles. Discussed at the coordinates of the point of tangency of point outside the ellip .Keywords: Tangent through ellips
