Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (educational research and development) dengan tujuan menghasilkan lembar kerja mahasiswa (LKM) mata kuliah struktur aljabar yang layak dan efektif dalam perkuliahan. Prosedur pengembangan produk mengacu model Plomp yang terdiri atas lima tahap yaitu: (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, (3) realisasi/konstruksi, (4) tes, evaluasi, dan revisi, (5) implementasi. Uji coba keefektifan lembar kerja mahasiswa diukur melalui tiga indikator yaitu; (1) aktivitas mahasiswa, (2) respon mahasiswa, dan (3) ketuntasan belajar. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan rata-rata skor aktivitas mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan lembar kerja mahasiswa sebesar 83% yaitu berada pada kriteria aktif. Selanjutnya untuk indikator respon mahasiswa menunjukkan mahasiswa memberikan respon positif yaitu rata-rata skor respon mahasiswa sebesar 87% sangat setuju. Kemudian berdasarkan data hasil tes belajar setelah selesai mengikuti proses pembelajaran nilai rata-rata mahasiswa mencapai 89,3. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ketuntasan belajar telah tercapai. Dari hasil ketiga indikator dapat dikatakan LKM efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah struktur aljabar.

Abstract

This study is a class action research that aims to improve learning motivation and learning achievement of students in the subject of the calculus. The study was conducted in two cycles with the following results. Learning achievement results obtained in the first cycle that only 14 students or 17.07% that scored at least 70 of all students and obtained an average score of students learning motivation questionnaire is at high category that is at score 48 (scale 15-75). The results of the second cycle obtained an average score of students learning motivation questionnaire is 50, which means at the high category as well as an improvement in terms of learning achievement that there are 56 students or 68.29% that scored at least 70 of all students so that indicators of success has been achieved.

Abstract

This study is a quasi experimental research with factorial design 2×3.This study aims to test the effectiveness of the use of group investigation model with interactive CD in the course of analisis real toward students initial ability. This research was conducted at STKIP PGRI Pacitan in 2016. Data analysis techniques is two way ANOVA. The research finding is the student learning achievement using group investigation with interactive CD is better than the student learning achievement using group investigation with paper task. Furthermore, the student learning achievement from the high group of initial ability and the middle group of initial ability are better than the student learning achievement of the lower group of initial ability. But between the high group of initial ability and the middle group of initial ability, the student learning achievement is not significantly different.
