Abstract

This research elaborates on a mosque management model in abnormal conditions (the Covid-19 pandemic). This research determines how mosque congregants and residents around the mosque area converge so that they have a contribution in minimizing the spread of the Corona virus. This research was conducted at Miftahul Yakin Al-Misk Mosque, Tegal Sempur Block, Cisambeng Village, Palasah District, Majalengka, West Java. All efforts and strategies are carried out by mosque managers so that mosque religious activities are more effective and positive, starting from understanding, providing information, deliberation to implementing mosque activities. The method in this research is using descriptive-analytic method with a qualitative approach. Some of the findings in this study include: mosque management has followed health standards in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic, the education and empowerment model of mosques has begun to utilize information technology online, and mosque congregations understand the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic so that they are aware of health protocols in participating in worship activities and religious mosque.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the spiritual life of Muslims in the mosque environment. It cannot be avoided if the Corona outbreak also has a major impact on the religious sector, especially in mosques, so it needs a separate formula for dealing with it. Moreover, people in Indonesia are known to be religious and used to busy themselves massively in places of worship such as prayer rooms and mosques. While on the other hand, the crowd aspect is something that must be avoided to avoid contracting the Corona virus lately. For this reason, this study aims to determine how to empower mosque congregations in overcoming the impact of Covid 19; in this case the empowerment of congregation at the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque in Pangkalan Village, Ciawigebang District, Kuningan, West Java. The method used in this research is an action research method, a combination of data collection and processing in an integrated manner. From the results of this study found a solution to the controversy that occurred among the congregation by building a synergy between DKM of the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque and IREMA BM as well as religious leaders using a persuasive approach to foster a spirit of cooperation and produce mutual agreement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mosques in a heterogeneous society during the Covid 19 pandemic. The research method of this research is through literature review plus cultivating data by interviews and direct observation.. Mosques have a very strategic role in building tolerance and a spirit of religious moderation in a heterogeneous society. This research found that mosques were not just places of worship for spiritual strengthening but also played a role in preventing the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

Abstract

This research discusses radicalism in the name of religion that is increasingly emerging in recent decades. The radicalism is growing and grabbing the public's attention. One of them is the case of the recruitment of innocent children and youth in hardline and extreme organizations for purposes that endanger the public. This group of teenagers is usually still psychologically unstable so it is easy to be indoctrinated with incorrect religious teachings and understanding. Looking at the case, the authors was interested in researching the Islamic Youth group Baitul Ma'mur Mosque (RAISMA) Sampora Village, Cilimus District, Kuningan Regency whose coaching system is carried out through the Direct System Da'wah method (DSL). Uniquely, the youth coaching of this mosque continues to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, by of course implementing health protocols. The question then: Does the Group of Islamic Youth Baitul Ma'mur Mosque (RAISMA) fall into the category infiltrated by radicalism or vice versa, the silencer? Then, how exactly is DSL model developed and run? This research method uses qualitative approach with literature study analysis. To explore the data, the authors also used data collection techniques through interviews and the dissemination of questionnaires. The data obtained are then arranged regularly and systematically to be analyzed with qualitative approach.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal adalah salah satu sumber belajar. Sumber belajar itu tidak hanya berpusat pada manusia namun juga pada alam lingkungan yang berada di luar individu manusia. Saat ini kearifan lokal yang walau didalamnya mengandung nilai, pesan dakwah dan pendidikan Islam belum secara maskimal dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran. Padahal kearifan lokal disamping menjadi sumber belajar juga sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan warisan budaya adi luhur yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan rasa cinta tanah air dan menumbuhkan semangat nasionalisme.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi revitalisasi kearifan lokal sebagai sumber pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (Field reseach) dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskritif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif ini lebih didominasi oleh teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipan. Berdasarkan analisis deskriotif kualitatif tersebut di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa di dalam tembang “Kembang Kilaras” mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam sehingga bisa dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa revitalisasi kearifan lokal ini amat penting dilakukan karena disamping untuk menjaga warisan khazanah budaya juga di dalamnya mengandung banyak nilai, pesan moral, dakwah dan pendidikan yang perlu disampaikan kepada para peserata didik saat ini

Abstract

This article analyzes the traces of the movement of religious science and philosophy in the golden period in Islamic history, namely during the Abbasid Dynasty. During that period, Islam experienced its heyday and contributed to the scientific aspect; not only for the Muslim community but also for the non-Muslim community in the world. The research method in this paper uses a descriptive-analytic method by first tracing the religious literature related to the research subject, and then analyzing it critically. Several research findings from this research include the revealing of supporting factors that influenced the achievement of Islamic civilization in the Abbasid Dynasty era through scientific movements, such as government support for Islamic scholarship (manuscript translation projects). Meanwhile, when viewed at the time of Caliph al-Mamun, the role of the Muktazilah school, which at that time became the official school of government, seemed very influential for religious and scientific movements. This is because the Muktazilah school emphasizes many aspects of rationality in religion.

Abstract

This article discusses the purpose of education, namely developing the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear Allah SWT so that they have a noble personality plus self-competence in accordance with a prophetic vision that refers to the Prophet Muhammad as a role model. In writing this article, the researcher uses the methodology of studying Islamic literature by referring to the subject matter of professional education. In achieving these educational goals, there are three main frameworks (if referring to QS. Ali Imran: 110): First, humanization (amar ma'ruf) or humanizing humans, where students are used as subjects of education, not objects of education; Second, liberation (directed nahi mungkar) or having a place for students to face critical problems that occur in the midst of society so that they are able to find solutions; Third, transcendence (tu'minuuna billah), which is the process of making students recognize the virtues and have the dimension of moral cultivation
