<![CDATA[Abstrak Sektor pariwisata sebagai kegiatan perekonomian telah menjadi andalan potensial dan prioritas pengembangan bagi sejumlah Negara.Terlebih bagi negara berkembang seperti Indonesia yang memiliki potensi wilayah yang luas dengan daya tarik wisata yang cukup besar. Salah satu problematika yang harus dipecahkan adalah masalah infrastruktur Information and Communication Technology (ICT) dan strategi promosi wisata yang masih konvensional. Penelitian ini berupa aplikasi Sistem InformasiGeografis (SIG) tentang pariwisata berbasis web dengan wilayah penelitian di Kabupaten Pemalang. Webgis adalah aplikasi SIG yang terdistribusi dalam suatu jaringan komputer untuk mengintegrasikan dan menyebarluaskan informasi geografis secara visual pada World Wide Web. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data spasial koordinat posisi hasil survei dengan GPS Handheld dan data atribut yang berupa informasi yang didapat dari instransi terkait. Untuk merancang dan membangun webgis pariwisata yaitu sistem awal menggunakan bahasa php, styling css dan html dengan mysql sebagai basis data, kemudian integrasi dengan google map API.Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa aplikasi SIG pariwisata berbasis web di Kabupaten Pemalang menggunakan Google map API sebagai penyedia peta gratis yang diintegrasikan ke dalam website. Selain itu tentunya menyajikan informasi mengenai objek wisata yang dilengkapi dengan restoran dan hotel. One of the problems that must to be solved is the problem of infrastructure of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and tourism promotion strategy that is still conventional. This study uses the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) of the web-based tourism in Pemalang. This research uses the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) of the web-based tourism in Pemalang. WebGIS is a distributed GIS application in a computer network to integrate and disseminate geographic information visually on the World Wide Web. This study uses position coordinate spatial data of the survey with GPS Handheld and attributes data in the form of information obtained from instransi related. To design and build the tourism WebGIS, it uses the initial system that uses language php, css and html styling. Mysql is the database, then integration with Google Map API. The final result of this research is a web-based tourism GIS application in Pemalang using Google map API as the free provider map that is integrated into website.
