Abstract

The Public Area section employee is a shield of a hotel who isn  directly confronted with guest services and comfort regarding cleanliness. This study aims to determine how the employee’s performance and determine the factors that affect the performance of the employees of the public area section at the Emerald Garden Hotel International Medan. Using qualitative descriptive methods,researchers interviewed from 5 respondents. While the data collection techniques in this study used observation,interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done that so far the employee’s performance is quite good despite having several things that affect the performance of the employee. As for these factors namely personal factors,leadership factors,team factors,system factors and situational factors.Keywords : employee performance,public area section,factors .

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the assessment of disability visitors at the amenities of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Bali. This research aimed: (1) to determine the assessment of disability visitors at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park tourist attraction facilities, (2) to determine the manager's efforts to manage facilities for disability visitors at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. This study uses the Pitojo theory which discusses the distribution of tourist facilities in order to explain the phenomena found in the field.This research uses a quantitative approach to clarify the issues raised in this research. While the data collection technique uses the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The sample in this research was 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that based on research results obtained from the assessment of disability visitors at the amenities of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park in Bali, it is considered very good and disability visitors feel very satisfied with the facilities available. This is evidenced by the acquisition of a total facility total score of 21.965 points. Keyword: Satisfaction, Disability visitors, Amenities

Abstract

Management is a process that consists of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring, in which each field uses science and art on a regular basis in order to be able to achieve certain predetermined goals. This research was conducted by the author in Prapat Tunggal Beach, Bengkalis Regency. This research was conducted by the author with the aim of knowing the general description of the management of facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object and to determine the management of the facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, Bengkalis Regency. The author uses qualitative methods in this study to get a picture of what happened in the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, Bengkalis Regency. Researchers explain the actual conditions and conditions based on data and information in the field. Data collection techniques that researchers use in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done on the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object, the management of the facilities at the Prapat Tunggal Beach Tourism Object until now has not been going well because many facilities are still poorly maintained.Keywords: Management, Facility and Prapat Tunggal Beach.

Abstract

This research aims to determine about to find standard completeness equipment for Peterseli restaurant  Pekanbaru. Standard completeness equipment is a measuring instrument used and already available or complete, so with completeness amenities all activities carried out. Without complete equipment it will inhibit company activities and objectives will not be achieved. This research to make use qualitative method to analysis set of case, wich to become the key informan in this research as much as three people’s. That is 1  Owner, 1 Manager and 1 Chef. Sources were obtained through observation, interview and documentation. Based on result of this research, the conclusions of this research are standard completeness equipment for restaurant in accordance with the stadards, but still needs to be improved raising required so that Peterseli Restaurant Pekanbaru will be better in the future.  Keywords : Standard, Completeness Equipment, Restaurant

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know effectiveness electronic newspaper of advertising messages which had performed by Taman Margasatwa Kasang Kulim’s Management. The sampels on this research are 100 people, who are taken by using slovin. Based on the objectives to be achieved, this research used descriptive quantitative technique with percentage method as the result statements of visitor’s respond. The results of this research are based on the visitors’s respond, the success rate effectiveness electronic of advertising messages Taman Margasatwa Kasang Kulim was reached at 72.1%. Abstract

The purpose of conduching this research is to know factors – factors decision making visitor and tourist before the visit Alam Mayang Pekanbaru City. The research use descriptive mothode to analyze the prooblems. The sampel inside this research are 100 respondence by using accidental sampling. And then technique to collected data in this research are using observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. And it was using likert scale to know the length of intervals. Factors that influence the decision making process visitor at Alam Mayang, internal factors, external factors, and situational factors (Etta dan Sopiah, 3013). From the result of research, according to responses by tourist the factor internal is a very determining faktor in the proses of decision making to visit Alam Mayang tourism object.Key word : decision making factors, tourist, tourism object

Abstract

This research aims to know the service quality of bar waiter at Lobby Lounge Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan. The role of bar waiter in creating good quality service is very influential on guest satisfaction and increasing income,because bar waiter has a function as frontliner. The research method used is a quantitative research method based on data obtained from respondents. This research uses the concept (Zeithaml, 2004), saying to facilitate the assessment and measurement of quality service, therefore developed a quality service measuring tool called SERVQUAL (Service Quality). Servqual is a multiscale item which one can be used to measure customer perception of the quality service which includes: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, emphaty, and assurance. Based on the research that has been done, service quality of bar waiter at Lobby Lounge Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan was good. Keywords: Service Quality, Bar, Waiter, Food And Beverage Service.

Abstract

The development of hotels in Pekanbaru is a very promising business for every businessman engaged in it. In the world of hospitality, the quality of food and drinks is crucial to it’s success in the world of hospitality, therefore, professional chefs are needed in their respective fields. The chef  as a food guide expert who spearheaded the success of the business.In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method, because the F&B Manager position was vacant, so the researcher interviewed the F&B Service Supervisor as a key informant in gathering about the Chef's Professionalism.The results showed that the professionalism of the chef's performance of the maintenance factor (maintenance) was still not appropriate, however it was still not appropriate which caused the Chef to be unprofessional, namely employee opportunities to get training (on job training), support from the hotel with the help of every input-input from employees and placing leaders in a department. Therefore, researchers question that the company can communicate and resolve these problems so that the level of professionalism of Chef's performance increases.   Keywords: Chef's professionalism performance, food and beverage department

Abstract

Motivation is a very important factor in a company, because it can improve employee work discipline. So that the ability of management to provide motivation will greatly determine the success or failure in achieving company goals. Researchers conducted research in a 3 star hotel in the city of Dumai, Riau province, namely Comfort. Researchers conduct research that aims to find out how employee motivation and how hotels increase employee motivation. The research will be known and measured by quantitative descriptive methods. This study took a sample of 18 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires, documentation, interviews. To measure the data interval in this study using a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study showed that the work motivation of Dumai Comfort Hotel Housekeeping employees is included in the good category because the employee supervisors also provide good efforts to increase the motivation of their employees.  Keywords : Motivation, Housekeeping, Hotel.

Abstract

 Hygiene is a preventive health effort that focuses its activities on individual health efforts, as well as human personal health efforts. The definition of sanitation is a health effort to protect and prevent disease that focuses its activities on human environmental health efforts. This study aims to determine the application of food processing sanitation hygiene and to determine the efforts of the management in implementing processing sanitation hygiene in the implementation of food sanitation at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. In this study, the authors used qualitative methods as a procedure for processing data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation of FBM, Executive Chef, Chef De Partie, Demi Chef, Cook and Cook Helper Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. After conducting interviews with the informants, the authors concluded that overall sanitation Hygiene in Fox Hotel Pekanbaru's kitchen was going well, but there are 2 things about sanitation Hygiene that need more attention, namely the necessity of wearing gloves when preparing or processing food and paying attention to the cleanliness of materials. raw foods such as washing vegetables and fruits before entering the kitchen. Key words: Hygiene, sanitation, application, food processing, kitchen
