Abstract

The best service quality is a profit strategy to create more new visitors, retain existing visitors, as well as avoid the escape of visitors and create a special advantage that is not only competitive in terms of price. This study aims to find out how the service quality of Ekang Tourism Village during the pandemic period is, and to find out what officers are in improving service quality. This research uses mixed methods, namely quantitative and qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The sample of this research is as many as 98 respondents addressed to visitors to the Ekang Tourism Village. Results Based on the research, the quality of service in Ekang Tourism Village is in the fairly good category with a total score of 6,302. after providing services to officers, especially experiencing several obstacles, during this pandemic they lost services such as foreign tourists due to the closure of entry access from abroad to Indonesia.Keywords: Quality of service, officers, Ekang Tourism Village, Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

This research was initiated from the results of researchers' observations regarding the management of facilities in the Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina area in Kampar Regency. This study aims to find out about the management of facilities in the Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina Area in Kampar Regency. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data was carried out using the methods of observation, documentation, and interviews, while the samples of this study were managers, officers, visitors and the community around the Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina. The data in this study were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) serious planning for the construction of facilities at the Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina but is hindered by the budget 2) the organization is not optimal for each existing facility 3) The implementation is quite good seen from the awareness and attention of the manager and officers at existing facilities 4) have been running quite well, because the supervision and movement of the managers and officers of every facility in the Taman Wisata Alam Buluh Cina is always noticed and supported, but there are some things that are still not good in the implementation of management the facilities. Keywords: Management, Facilities, Nature park

Abstract

A supervisor has an important role in a company, which is responsible as a planner, a supervisor and a tutor. A supervisor is also responsible for his staffs works. This study is aiming to find out about The Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities in F&B Service Departement in Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan. This study uses a qualitative metode of descriptive approach. The Informants on this research are the Supervisor, the Order Takers, and the Waiters. The data was collected by doing observation, interview, and documentations. The result of this study reveals the Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities in the F&B Service Departement in Emerald Garden International Hotel Medan. The Room Service Supervisor Responsibilities on the successful operational covers supervising the staff in every preparation and serving the guests, making schedule, and taking care of the guests complaints.  Keyword : Responsibilities, Supervisor, F&B Service, Room Service.

Abstract

Hotels are one type of accommodation that uses part or all of the building to provide accommodation services, food and drink and other services that are managed commercially. A hotel certainly has a department that has a big role, one of which is the Housekeeping Department. Housekeeping Department is part of the hotel department responsible for cleanliness, tidiness, and comfort of guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, bars and other outlets. In the Housekeeping Department there are sections that support their duties including the room boy who has the role of creating a clean, neat and complete room in order to get a good impression for guests who are staying and visiting. As for one of the hotels in Pekanbaru that has the best service, especially in the Housekeeping Department in order to increase guest satisfaction, the Hotel Novotel Pekanbaru is one of the 4-star standard hotels in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to find out how to work and what are the obstacles of implementing the Roomboy Housekeeping department's duties at the Novotel Pekanbaru hotel. In writing this paper, the author uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely analyzing, describing and summarizing various conditions, situations from various data collected in the form of results from interviews and observations about the problems being investigated that occur in the field. Keywords: hotel, housekeeping department, roomboy

Abstract

Muesums are one of the tourist destinations when they want to travel. Good management of the facilities of a tourist attraction will be beneficial for the partu itself. Management of museum facilities in one of the factors supporting the information of a good and well-maintained museum. A good and well-maintained museum will provide a special attraction for visitors. That is why it is important to carry out a management by the manager. This reseach is a type of field research located at the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum, Pasaman Regency. The subjects in this study were 3 staff of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum and 20 visitors to the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum with the object being the management of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Musum’s facilities. The data were obtained using observation, questionnaires and interview and documentation techiques. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative method, which produces desriptive data to describe a situation that was running at the time the research was conducted. Based on the result of the study, it can be seen that the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum is only managed by 3 staff who work concurrently. The obstacles in managing the museum are the lack of employess, and the lack of funds which causes many facilities not to be maintained properly. To overcome these obstacles, the goverment provides financial assistance has not been intensely implemented so that there are still many facilities of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol museum that are not maintained. Keywords: Management, Facilities, Museum.
