Abstract

Dengan pertumbuhan penggunaan sepeda motor yang demikian pesatnya, maka bermunculanlah tempat-tempat perawatan sepeda motor,  mulai dari kelas pinggir jalan hingga bengkel-bengkel resmi ATPM, maka faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perancangan ini adalah Kebutuhan akan gerak yang dilakukan oleh sistem pneumatik, Komponen-komponen apa saja yang diperlukan, Efisiensi antara kebutuhan dengan jumlah komponen yang diperlukan. Untuk itu dirancang suatu alat dengan sistem pneumatik dan hasil perhitungan diperoleh kebutuhan udara mampat rata-rata 319,6 liter/menit, sehingga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut digunakan Kompresor Swan Model SVP(U)-203 dengan kapasitas produksi 355 liter/menit. Selain itu juga dirancang bike lift yang digunakan yang mempunyai beban maksimal 350 kg. Pemilihan ini berdasar dari berat sepeda motor yang banyak beredar di Indonesia.

Abstract

The interpretation of subsurface structures in Semurup geothermal area has been carried out using the geomagnetic method. Data were collected in an area of 1500 m × 1400 m consisting of 160 points. The magnetic anomaly value obtained was derived from the total magnetic induction value that has been corrected by IGRF and diurnal variation, then transformed by reduction to equator and upward continuation to remove noise and separate local and regional anomalies. The results of data processing showed the total magnetic field values in the study area ranged from -1730.4 nT to 1909.0 nT. Magnetic anomalies in this study area are dominated by negative values that may be caused by demagnetised rocks (a result of hydrothermal alteration). The results of 2D modeling, it has 5 rock layers that can be classified into 3 main parts of the geothermal system The first and second layers are caprock with a depth of up to 850 meters consisting of sedimentary rock, clay, and sandstone. The third layer is indicated as a reservoir with a depth from 850 to 1450 m and is dominated by sandstone and clay alteration Hot rock in the fourth and fifth layers is dominated by basalt igneous rock and the presence of dacitic lava intrusion from the northeast of the study area at depths below 1450 m, and the Siulak fault as a outflow zone for geothermal fluid. The presence of the caprock, reservoir, hot rock, and fault zones indicates that the Semurup area has geothermal potential and is suitable for further exploration.

Abstract

The spread of the coronavirus pandemic or Covid-19 has provided its own challenges for educational institutions in Indonesia, one of which is SMKN 1 West Sumatra is one of the vocational education institutions in Padang City. In the online learning process, many students do not understand the material taught by the teacher and there is a problem of declining grades in students. When students are in a condition of not having motivation to learn, this is where the role of teachers to provide motivation to students is with persuasive communication techniques. The purpose of this study is to reveal proportionally the influence of teachers' persuasive communication on the learning motivation of students of SMKN 1 West Sumatra during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a type of quantitative research. The sampling technique is a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this study is class X students of SMKN 1 West Sumatra which totals 84 students. A simple linear regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis with the SPSS 24 program. The results of this research show that the Persuasive Communication variable of the Teacher Persuasive Communication category is quite good. The results indicate that there is an influence between teachers' persuasive communication and students' motivation to learn during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning activities in the teacher's classroom tend to use persuasive communication, to direct student behavior in the teacher's classroom to apply a democratic and permissive discipline model. Teachers do not give heavy sanctions, but are more dominant in the directions and advice that motivate students to be better.

Abstract

Telah dihasilkan alat mosquito killer menggunakan buzzer dan perangkap lampu violet. Alat mosquito killer bertujuan untuk membasmi nyamuk dengan gelombang ultrasonik. Penelitian ini membuat alat mosquito killer berbentuk tabung berdimensi (7 x 41) cm, bagian atas tabung berisikan LED violet untuk memikat nyamuk mendekati tabung, kemudian kipas 12 volt pada bagian tengah tabung untuk menghisap nyamuk ke dalam tabung. Bagian bawah tabung terdapat jaring halus sebagai keluarnya aliran udara dan tempat nyamuk terperangkap. Sensor ultrasonik SRF05 mendeteksi objek yang masuk ke dalam tabung, secara otomatis buzzer sebagai aktuator menghasilkan suara berupa gelombang ultrasonik selama 20 detik pada setiap variasi frekuensi. Objek penelitian ini adalah nyamuk, ketika nyamuk masuk ke dalam mosquito killer berjumlah 25 ekor didapatkan hasil percobaan sebagai berikut: pada frekuensi (30 – 40) kHz nyamuk yang mati adalah 0%, pada frekuensi 45 kHz nyamuk yang mati adalah 20%, pada frekuensi 50 kHz nyamuk yang mati adalah 100%, pada frekuensi 55 kHz nyamuk yang mati adalah 100% dan pada frekuensi 60 kHz nyamuk yang mati adalah 100%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah frekuensi gelombang ultrasonik minimal dalam membunuh nyamuk adalah 50 kHz dengan lama waktu 20 detik.Â
