Abstract

Industri parawisata di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, khususnya di Pulau Sumatera menjadi salah satu sektor yang dapat diandalkan untuk meningkatkan PDRB tanpa migas (ADHK) di Pulau Sumatera. Pulau yang memiliki luas sekitar 473.606 km persegi ini sudah seharusnya menjadi daerah tujuan wisata (DTW) unggulan bagi wisatawan mancanegara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan sektor parawisata itu mempunyai peran positif dan signifikan dalam mempengaruhi PDRB tanpa migas (ADHK) di Pulau Sumatera dan juga untuk mendapatkan model terbaik dari regresi data panel menggunakan data PDRB tanpa migas (ADHK) di Pulau Sumatera dari tahun 2013-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan data  panel berupa data time series (tahun 2013-2017) dan cross section (10 provinsi di Pulau Sumatera) yang diperoleh dari BPS Provinsi Riau serta dalam menganalisis data digunakan alat bantu software Eviews 6. Regresi data panel dapat diestimasi menggunakan tiga model yaitu CEM, FEM dan REM. Untuk mendapatkan model terbaik digunakan uji Chow dan uji Hausmann. Pada penelitian ini didapat model terbaiknya adalah REM dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 33,55%. Hal ini berarti sebesar 33,55% variabel PDRB tanpa migas (ADHK) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan tingkat penghunian kamar. Berdasarkan uji signifikan secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan tingkat penghunian kamar dengan variabel PDRB tanpa migas (ADHK).

Abstract

The development of digital technology such as Society 5.0, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data and Machine Learning have brought major changes to the world of education, especially in forming a more responsive, inclusive, and adaptive learning system. This study aims to examine the trends and future potential of technology-based educational innovations, especially at the elementary school level. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, through a review of literature from various current scientific sources. The results of the study show that Society 5.0 encourages the transformation of the role of teachers and student learning patterns, IoT increases interactivity and efficiency in the learning process, and Big Data and Machine Learning enable the implementation of adaptive learning that is in accordance with the needs of individual students. However, the implementation of this technology also faces challenges such as limited infrastructure, teacher readiness, and data security. Therefore, the integration of technology in education needs to be carried out wisely, gradually, and involves the collaboration of all stakeholders.

Abstract

The lack of interest of young children in learning numbers is a common challenge in kindergarten learning activities. Children tend to be passive during the mathematics learning process because the approach used is not appropriate to their age developmental characteristics, which prefer play, movement, and direct interaction with concrete media. To address this problem, the Community Service Program (KKN) at At-Tien Kindergarten, Sumber Gayam, focused on learning innovation by designing a simple media called the Mathematics Ferris Wheel. This media was designed by combining elements of play and motor activity, making it more engaging for children. The research in this community service activity used a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which actively involved teachers and students in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The media was implemented by children turning the Ferris wheel in turns, then calling out the number indicated along with the numbers before and after. Through this activity, children not only learned to recognize number sequences but also practiced concentration, courage, and communication skills. The implementation results showed that the use of the Mathematics Ferris Wheel was able to significantly improve the understanding of number concepts in early childhood. Furthermore, children's active involvement in learning also increased, demonstrated by their enthusiasm in participating in the game from start to finish. Teachers found this media to be highly beneficial because it is easy to use, flexible, and adaptable to teach other topics such as colors, shapes, and letters. Thus, this KKN activity demonstrates that innovative, participatory learning media can create a fun, contextual, and effective learning environment. Such efforts are a practical solution to improving the quality of learning in early childhood education
