Abstract

This paper is about comparison of estimation regression function between nonparametric regression kernel using Nadaraya Watson estimator with simple linearregression. In addition, a long-time case study was given in obtaining the first job. The data used are fresh graduate student, of Public Administration departement in STIA Muhammadiyah Selong graduate 2016. In this case we will see the relation between Cumulative Achievement Index (X) with long waiting time to get the job (Y). The software statistics with the help of software applications R. For the selection of the best model is by Cross-Validation. In this paper, given the theory and prove about crossvalidation method are described. And then, this paper describes the Robust method if there is outlier.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the errors of students in solving statistics.The results of this analysis as the information for researchers in improving learning and find solutions for students to resolve the problem.This research was conducted in Studies Program STIA Muhammadiyah Selong in Public Administration programm.The subjects in this study were 25 peoples who were taken from class A.From the results of tests and interviews the most common error is the error process with 92% is the matter of hypothesis testing.To analyze the correlation between concept understanding and hypothesis testing errors, a correlation test was conducted with Kendals tau. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a correlation between the two variables. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan pemahaman konsep materi statistika deskriptif dengan kesalahan uji hipotesis deskriptif mahasiswa program studi administrasi public STIA Muhammadiyah Selong TA 2019-2020. Hasil analisis ini sebagai informasi bagi peneliti dalam memperbaiki pembelajaran dan menemukan solusi bagi mahasiswa untuk mengatasi permasalahannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prgram Studi Administrasi Publik STIA Muhammadiyah Selong. Subyek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang yang diambil dari kelas A. Dari hasil tes dan wawancara kesalahan yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah kesalahan proses dengan besar persentase 92% yaitu pada materi pengujian hipotesis. Untuk menganalisis hubungan pemahaman konsep dengan kesalahan uji hipotesis dilakukan uji korelasi dengan kendals tau. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan ada hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut.
