Abstract

The main analysis in developing assessment instruments is reliability and validity. A validity test is carried out to determine the appropriateness instrument that will be developed, both construction validity and content validity. The reliability test is to determine the level of consistency of the instrument that has been developed. This research was conducted to develop the HOTS ability to test items for high school students. The grid test instruments are arranged based on competence and HOTS indicators, which are then used to arrange items. The test instrument consisted of ten question items relating to the HOTS Thermodynamic Law problem, which included: 1) analyzing the magnitude of engine efficiency, work, heat, and internal energy changes, 2) evaluating Carnot's efficiency, and 3) creating a heat engine. The assessment of the instrument HOTS test obtained Aiken's V score in the range of 0.83 to 0.94, which is in the valid criteria. The validated instrument was piloted in 141 science grade XI student in High School 2 Batang, at Batang Regency, Central Java. The level difficulty of the Polytomous data was analyzed using the QUEST program for classical analysis and PARSCALE 4 for modern analytical theory based on the Partial Credit Model (PCM). The results of data analysis of the experimental items show that of the ten-question items, all are compatible with PCM. The reliability of the test instrument is 0.84, and the item difficulty level is in the range of 0.83 to 1.22. Information functions and Standard Error Measurement (SEM) indicate that test questions developed reliably to measure HOTS students' ability with an average category in -1.9 <θ <+1.7 logit scale with SEM ± 0.5.

Abstract

Kota Lama Semarang merupakan salah satu obyek wisata sejarah yang berada di kota Semarang dan pada tahun 2016 masuk sebagai salah satu nominasi World Heritage Site. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis anomali Bouguer data gaya berat studi kasus di Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang untuk membantu mengidentifikasi struktur bawah permukaan tanah di Kawasan tersebut yang setiap tahunnya selalu terjadi banjir rob, genangan air dan penurunan permukaan tanah. Pengolahan data anomali Bouger menggunakan software Oasis Montaj 6.4.2. Tahap awal dilakukan koreksi pasang surut (TC) dan koreksi apungan (DC). Tahap berikutnya dilakukan koreksi lanjut yang terdiri dari koreksi udara  bebas (FAC) dan koreksi Bouguer (BC) hingga didapat kontur anomali udara bebas (FAA) dan kontur anomali Bouguer (BA). Nilai BA di Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang dengan interval 10,58 mGal s.d 11,65 mGal dengan koreksi FAC mempunyai rentang 1,48 mGal s.d 3,09 mGal, anomali FAA mempunyai rentang 11,1 mGal s.d 12,7 mGal serta koreksi gobs mempunyai rentang 978118,88 mGal s.d 978118,50 mGal. Kawasan dengan anomali Bouguer tinggi memiliki struktur batuan dengan densitas yang tinggi dibandingkan  dengan Kawasan lainnya. Nilai anomali Bouguer semakin ke utara semakin rendah, dan semakin ke selatan semakin tinggi.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan bakar menjadi kebutuhan sehari-hari rumah tangga terutama untuk memasak. Keterbatasan persediaan bahan bakar gas menyebabkan peralihan ke bahan bakar alternatif seperti penggunaan  kompor sekam padi. Ruang pembakaran dirancang untuk mencapai pembakaran sempurna dengan meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi polusi udara dalam ruangan. Pengembangan tambahan yang diperkenalkan dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan penggunaan 6 modul generator termoelectric TEC1-12706 yang dirangkai secara seri untuk membangkitkan energi listrik untuk penerangan dan pengisian daya handphone. Uji eksperimental sederhana dilakukan dengan menvariasikan massa sekam padi 200 gram dan 500 gram. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan tegangan output maksimum sebesar 6,21 volt dan arus yang masuk ke baterai sebesar 2,40 A yang dapat digunakan untuk penerangan dan pengisian daya handphone  sampai 70% dari daya awalnya yang dicapai untuk bahan bakar 500 gram sekam padi.   The use of fuel is a daily necessity for the household, especially for cooking. Limited supply of natural gas causes a shift to alternative fuels such as the use of rice husk stoves. The combustion chamber is designed to achieve complete combustion by increasing efficiency and reducing indoor air pollution. Additional development introduced in this study, involves the use of 6 TEC1-12706 thermoelectric generator modules arranged in series to generate electrical energy for lighting and charging mobile phones. A simple experimental test was carried out by varying the mass of rice husk 200 grams and 500 grams. The results of this study obtained a maximum output voltage of 6.21 volts and                a current entering the battery of 2.40 A which can be used for lighting and charging mobile phones up to 70% of the initial power achieved for 500 grams of rice husk fuel. Keywords: Thermoelectric Generator, rice husk stove, electric energy generator.
