Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on students critical thinking skills on the concept of temperature and heat in SMP Negeri 1 kaway XVI. The approach used is a quantitative approach in the form of experimental research. The sampling technique is using class of purposive sampling, the selected sample is class VII-1 (22 students) as experiment class, with learning model used PBL model and class VII-2 (20 students) as control class, with the model of learning used by Direct Instruction model. The data collected based on the results of the pre-test and post-test are based on the indicators of critical thinking, namely: (1) provide a simple explanation; (2) to conclude, and; (3) provide further explanation. Then the data is analyzed using t-test. Hypothesis test used by 1 side test is right side, with criterion accept Ha if t-count t-table and Ha rejected if t-count  t-table. Hypothesis test results obtained tcount = 6.71 and ttable = 1.68, it can be concluded t-count t-table, in other words Ha accepted. The conclusion of this research is the effect of using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking ability on concept of temperature and heat in SMP Negeri 1 Kaway XVI. Based on the above conclusions the authors suggest to use the PBL learning model in teaching physics lessons.

Abstract

AbstrakPemilihan model pembelajaran merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, rendahnya partisipasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika peneliti temukan di kelas X1A4. Hal ini di sebabkan guru hanya menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa yaitu menggunakan metode ceramah kemudian diikuti dengan memberikan latihan atau tugas-tugas kepada siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian  dengan menerapkan Model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share. Model tersebut dianggap dalam pembelajarannya memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk bekerja sendiri kemudian bekerjasama dengan orang lain, sehingga siswa dapat menunjukkan partisipasi mereka pada orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi siswa, keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, aktivitas guru dan siswa, dan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan model kooperatif tipe TPS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan statistik deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas XIA4 SMA Negeri 1 Ingin Jaya tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu lembar pengamatan partisipasi siswa, lembar observasi ketrampilan guru, lembar aktivitas guru dan siswa dan angket yang keempatnya dianalisis menggunakan uji persentase. Hasil analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan  model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan partisipasi siswa, keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan dari siklus I hingga siklus III, aktivitas guru dan siswa juga sudah meningkat, dan respon siswa setelah diterapkan  model kooperatif ipe Think Pair Share selama tiga siklus adalah positif. Kata kunci : Model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share,  Partisipasi  AbstractSelection of learning model is a factor that affects student achievement. Based on observations and interviews, the low participation of student learning in physics class researchers found at X1A4. This is caused teachers just use regular learning models that use the lecture method, followed by providing training or assignments to students. Therefore, researchers conducted the study by applying the type cooperative model Think Pair Share. The model is considered in learning gives students the chance to work themselves and then to cooperate with others, so that students can show their participation in others. This study aims to determine the participation of students, teachers 'skills in managing learning, the activities of teachers and students, and the students' response to the use of the cooperative model SMT type. This research is a classroom action research using descriptive statistical approach. The subjects were students of class XIA4 SMA Negeri 1 Ingin Jaya academic year 2016/2017, which has 21 students. Data collection instruments used in the study of student participation observation sheets, sheets observation skills of teachers, teacher and student activity sheets and questionnaires were analyzed using analysis of the percentage of fourth. The results of data analysis showed that the application of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share can improve learning outcomes and participation of students, teachers 'skills in managing the study showed an increase from the first cycle to the third cycle, the activities of teachers and students has also increased, and the students' response after application models Think Pair Share ipe cooperative for three cycles is positive Keywords:The type cooperative model Think Pair Share, Participation

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk tindak plagiat yang dilakukan mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Unsyiah dalam penyusunan skripsi. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 butir CD skripsi yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dari sejumlah 134 skripsi mahasiswa pada tahun 2016. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti fokus mengidentifikasi bentuk plagiat pada landasan teoritis atau BAB II dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan bantuan software http://www.smallseotools.com/  untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk plagiat berdasarkan referensi online. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus persentase p=f/n x100%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bentuk plagiat yang mengacu pada indikator satu (plagiat penuh) teridentifikasi sejumlah 80,55% dengan frekuensi 464. Bentuk plagiat yang mengacu pada indikator kedua (plagiat tapi acak) teridentifikasi sejumlah 15,8% dengan frekuensi 91. Bentuk plagiat yang mengacu pada indikator ketiga (plagiat/mengutip dan ditambah pendapat sendiri) teridentifikasi sejumlah 3.3% dengan frekuensi 19. Bentuk plagiat yang mengacu pada indikator keempat (plagiat/mengutip dengan kalimat sendiri) teridentifikasi sejumlah 0.35% dengan frekuensi 2.Kata kunci: Identifikasi, Bentuk, Plagiat AbstractThis study aimed to identify the forms of plagiarism committed Unsyiah Physics Education students in the preparation of the thesis. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample in this study amounted to 30 grains CD thesis were taken by using simple random sampling of a number of 134 student thesis in 2016. In this study, researchers focused on identifying forms of plagiarism theoretical foundation or Chapter II by using data analysis techniques with the help of software http://www.smallseotools.com/ to identify forms of plagiarism based online references. Collecting data in this study using the method of documentation and interviews. The data in this study using a percentage formula p = f / n x100%. These results indicate a form of plagiarism which refers to indicators of the (full plagiarism) identified a number of 80.55% with a frequency of 464. This form of plagiarism which refers to the second indicator (plagiarism but random) identified a number of 15.8% with a frequency of 91. This form of plagiarism, which refers the third indicator (plagiarism / quoting and added my own opinion) identified a number of 3.3% with a frequency of 19. This form of plagiarism which refers to the fourth indicator (plagiarism / quoting the sentence itself) identified a number of 0:35 with a frequency of 2%.Keywords: Identification, Shape, Plagiarism

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning achievement based on the selection path to the Department of FKIP Physics Unsyiah. This research is a quantitative research. Research population as well as a research sample are all students of physics majors FKIP Unsyiah generation 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 are still active as many as 187 people. Technique of data retrieval is done by using documentation technique that is in the form of student's GPA data and data of student admission path for class of year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for academic year 2016/2017. Data were analyzed with inferential statistics using anova test.Result of analysis of research data obtained by mean of student GPA of SNMPTN, SBMPTN and UMB is equal to 3,00, and result of anova test show F count Ftabel. The conclusion of this research is no difference of academic achievement from physics student of SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and UMB.
