Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Self-Esteem on Career Adaptability with Perceived Social Support as a mediating variable for Employees in One of the Sharia Banking Cities in Banda Aceh. The sample used in this study was 145 employees in one of the Islamic banking in the city of Banda Aceh by using probability sampling techniques. Then, this study uses data collection tools, namely, questionnaires (questionnaire). This study uses Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) as an analytical method to determine the effect of the variables involved and also use the Sobel Test for mediation testing in this study. Based on the results of the HLM analysis and Sobel Test, showing that Self-Esteem has a positive effect on Career Adaptability, Self-Esteem has a positive effect on Perceived Social Support, Perceived Social Support has a positive effect on Career Adaptability, and Perceived Social Support partially mediates the Self-Esteem on Career Adaptability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Organizational Climate on Organizational Performance with the Innovative Work Behavior as a mediating variable at BNI Bank, Banda Aceh Main Branch Office. The sample used in this study were 71 employees of BNI Bank Banda Aceh Main Branch Office using total sampling technique. This study, (questionnaire) to collect data. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) is used in this study as the method of data analysis to determine the effect of the variables involved and Sobel Test is used to test the mediating effect. Based on the results of the HLM analysis and Sobel test, it shows that Organizational Climate and innovative work behavior have positive effect on Organizational Performance. Organizational Climate has a positive effect on Innovative Work Behavior, Innovative Work Behavior partially mediates the relationship between Organizational Climate and Organizational Performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of Psychological Empowerment on Employee Performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as mediation variable. The sample used in this study are employees of PT. Telkom Witel Aceh. This research method used questionnaire as research instrument. Probability Sampling is used as a sampling technique with Census method. Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) analysis method is used as a method of analysis to determine the effect of the variables involved, Taking 70 employees of PT. Telkom Witel Aceh as correspondent. The results showed: 1) Psychological Empowerment have positive and significant impact on Employee Performance. 2) Psychological Empowerment have positive and insignificant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. 3) Organizational Citizenship behavior have positive and significant impact on Employee Performance. 4) Organizational Citizenship Behavior as Mediation have positive and insignificant effect on Psychological Empowerment and Employee Performance variable at PT. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to measure the effect of Career Adaptability to undergraduate student’s Life Satisfaction in Economic and Business Faculty of Syiah Kuala University with Courage as mediating variable. The sample used in this study were active undergraduate student’s in odd semester 2018/2019 is totalling 243 respondents. Data collection equipment used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is Proportionated Stratified Random Sampling. Hierarchical Linear Modelling (HLM) was used as a method of analysis to determine the effect of all the variables involved.Based on the result of the HLM analysis indicated that Career Adaptability positively influence Life Satisfaction, Career Adaptability positively influence Courage, Courage positively influence Life Satisfaction and Courage mediate the relationship between Career Adaptability and Life Satisfaction. KeywordsCareer Adaptability, Life Satisfaction, Courage, Hierarchical Linear                   Modelling

Abstract

Despite the growing number of atmospheric studies in the various service settings such as restaurants and hotels, the application of atmospheric studies in the coffee shop has not gained much attention from scholars. The purpose of this study is to determine the coffee shop atmospheric dimension and the influence on customer satisfaction and behaviour intention of the coffee shop customers. The result of reviewing a large number of service environment literature has identified four dimensions of coffee shop atmospherics: facility aesthetic, ambience condition, spatial layout, and social. Subsequently, these dimensions are used to examine their role in customer satisfaction and behaviour intention. The data were collected from 298 coffee shop customers at ten coffee shops and each measurement was subjected for validity analysis of and composite reliability that were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The relationship between variables was verified using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The findings of this study are: first, the coffee shop atmospherics influence customer satisfaction positively; second, customer satisfaction has a mediation role in the relationship between coffee shop atmospheric and behaviour intention; third, customer satisfaction affects behaviour intention significantly. The findings implied that the coffee shop atmospheric has a paramount role in affecting customer satisfaction which can lead to positive behaviour intention of the customers such as spreading the positive word about the coffee shop and revisiting intention.
