Abstract

The role of the education office is the supervisors, controllers, administrators and supervisors of primary and secondary education for the realization of national education. As for the function of education that is as a tool to free people from ignorance, oppression, backwardness and poverty that hit the Indonesian society.The purpose of this study is to : (1) Know the role of the education office in the prevention of children prone to drop out; (2) Know what are the causes of still children who drop out of school. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type, which can be interpreted as problem solving process which is investigated by describing the state of research subject based on facts that appear during the research which then continued with based on the existing theories. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification.Based on the results of this study concluded that with the role of the Education Office then the level of public participation in the importance of education activities in Pekanbaru City will increase. But the fact that the participation of the community on the lack of education is caused by several factors,namely the low interest of children to go to school, the size of brothers, economic factors, social factors, peer factors and others. As for the factors that will cause the existence of children who drop out of school is the misuse of budget allocations, and lack of extension in remote areas.Keywords: Role, Education Authorities, Drop Out

Abstract

Abstract. Workplace stress occurs when the demands and pressures of a job exceed an individual's abilities and knowledge. It becomes a problem and can be caused by factors such as the type of job, individual vulnerabilities, and poor organizational work systems. Lack of job satisfaction can also be a major trigger for workplace stress. . At RSUD Syamsudin SH, a referral hospital in the city of Sukabumi, there is a high risk of workplace stress. The number of patient visits that continues to increase every year can have serious impacts, both physically and mentally, and on organizational performance.. Therefore, there is a need for attention and actions to address workplace stress in the environment of RSUD Syamsudin SH in order to minimize its negative impacts. This study aims to determine the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction with the level of absenteeism in Pharmacy Installation Employees at Syamsudin SH Hospital. The research method used was analytic observational with cross sectional research design. Total sampling technique amounted to 97 employees. In this study, the independent variable is job stress and job satisfaction and the dependent variable is absenteeism. Data analysis using one way anova. Research on 97 employees showed that most experienced moderate levels of work stress (53.60%), moderate job satisfaction (42.30%) and the highest number of absences reached 42 days. The statistical test results showed that there was a significant relationship between work stress and absenteeism (p-value=0.000<0.05) and there was no significant relationship between job satisfaction and absenteeism (p-value=0.491>0.05). Abstrak. Stress kerja terjadi ketika tuntutan dan tekanan pekerjaan melebihi kemampuan dan pengetahuan seseorang. Ini menjadi masalah dan dapat disebabkan oleh faktor seperti jenis pekerjaan, kerentanan individu, dan sistem kerja organisasi yang buruk. Kurangnya kepuasan kerja juga dapat menjadi pemicu utama stress kerja. RSUD Syamsudin SH, rumah sakit rujukan di Kota Sukabumi risiko tinggi terhadap stress kerja dapat terjadi. Jumlah kunjungan pasien yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya dapat menyebabkan dampak serius, baik secara fisik, mental, maupun terhadap kinerja organisasi. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya perhatian dan tindakan untuk mengatasi stress kerja di lingkungan RSUD Syamsudin SH agar dapat meminimalkan dampak negatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan stress kerja dan kepuasan kerja dengan tingkat ketidakhadiran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling berjumlah 97 karyawan. Variabel bebasnya stress kerja dan kepuasan kerja dan variabel terikatnya ketidakhadiran. Analisa data menggunakan oneway anova. Penelitian terhadap 97 karyawan menunjukkan sebagian besar mengalami tingkat stress kerja sedang (53.60%), kepuasan kerja sedang (42.30%) dan jumlah ketidakhadiran terbanyak mencapai 42 hari. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara stres kerja dan ketidakhadiran (p-value=0.000<0.05) dan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan ketidakhadiran (p-value=0.491>0.05). Stres kerja berhubungan dengan ketidakhadiran dan kepuasan kerja tidak berhubungan dengan ketidakhadiran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership styles that are most suitable for millennials and Generation Z, focusing on three leadership styles: Transformational Leadership (X1), Servant Leadership (X2), and Ethical Leadership (X3). The dependent variable in this study is Motivation (Y). This research is descriptive as it aims to examine and analyze the phenomena or issues that arise within a specific context. The sample used in this study consists of MSME actors in the City of Bima, who are part of the millennial and Generation Z groups. These two generations have distinct characteristics, and understanding how different leadership styles affect them is crucial for improving motivation and productivity in the business environment. The findings reveal that the most suitable leadership style for millennials, based on the average score order, is Servant Leadership (86.55%), followed by Ethical Leadership (86.43%), and Transformational Leadership (85.27%). This suggests that millennials value a leadership approach that focuses on serving and empowering others. Meanwhile, for Generation Z, the most suitable leadership style, based on the average score order, is Ethical Leadership (93.82%), followed by Transformational Leadership (86.62%), and Servant Leadership (83.27%). This indicates that Generation Z places a high value on ethical considerations and integrity in leadership. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into how different leadership styles influence the motivation of millennials and Generation Z. It highlights the need for MSME leaders to adapt their leadership styles according to the generational characteristics of their employees to enhance motivation and drive success in the business context of Bima City.
