Abstract

This study aims to analyze integration of character values in mathematics learning for Elemantry School (SD) or Islamic Elementary School (MI) in particular Al-Khwarizmi's perspective. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. Documentation includes searching for data in the form of articles related to the results of Al-Khwarizmi's thought and mathematical learning in SD/MI. The analytical technique used is content analysis which is carried out by selecting, analyzing, comparing and combining the various opinions listed in the articles analyzed so that they are found that are more relevant. Al-Khwarizmi is one of the Muslim scientists who contributed to the field of mathematics and is called the father of al-jabar. The results of this study found that the results of Al-Khwarizmi's thought in the field of mathematics have a specialty in which his thought contain many character values ​​that can be imitated including religious value, discipline value, honest value, hard work value, critical, logical, creative thinking value. and innovative value, curiosity value, communicative value, independent value, responsibility value, self-confidence value, democracies value, reading value, and fair value, compassion, and friendship.

Abstract

Mathematics learning must experience changes in the context of improving the quality of religious education so it is necessary to add Islamic values that can increase optimal learning processes. The purpose of this study was to find out how to integrate Islamic values in learning mathematics in fourth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research is a qualitative research study of literature that is intended to describe the integration model of mathematics with Islamic values in learning mathematics. The data collection method is done by interview and literature review. The results of the study indicate several things are underlined in applying Islamic values and technology in learning mathematics. The findings related to this phenomenon, namely: 1) The IVG homeroom teacher at MI Aliyah 2 studied had implemented the integration of Islamic science values with mathematics in learning; (2) Teachers who apply the integration of mathematics with Islamic science adjust to the material being studied; (3) The advantages of integrating Islamic values in the mathematics learning system can instill honesty, discipline, and responsibility. Based on this statement the integration of mathematical concepts with Islamic values is very important to be applied as a way of forming the character of the nation's generation. Thus, it is necessary to develop a continuous analysis of mathematical material by linking the verses of the Qur'an which is the source of all sources of knowledge that can be taken wisdom and lessons through mathematics by every human being.

Abstract

The development of extreme religious perspectives, attitudes of subjective truth claims that impose their religious interpretations are the main basis for the need for a moderate religious perspective. This article aims to analyse the situation of harmony, the experience of discrimination based on religion and to examine the religious moderation attitudes in the community. This research was conducted in a multicultural urban area in the Province of DI Yogyakarta, Baleharjo and Sinduadi Villages. This study found that respondents who experienced discrimination due to their religion were very low. However, 10.2% of respondents reported that there had been friction in their community. This study also found that level of people's attitudes regarding religious moderation measured by national commitment, tolerance, non-violence and accommodativeness to local culture can be categorized as high or good. However, there are several aspects of religious moderation that need to be strengthened such as attitudes about the importance of solving problems through legal approach if a person has problems with followers of other religions, acceptance of the establishment of houses of worship of other religions, leaders from other religions and the desire to conduct demonstrations and expel groups that are considered deviant. This study also found that the higher the education of the respondents, the higher the average score of religious moderation. Respondents who are active in religious organizations have also a higher attitude of religious moderation. Education, both through formal education and religious activities, can be an effective strategy to strengthen religious moderation attitudes in society.

Abstract

Internal challenges and external challenges in the development of the Islamic education curriculum are the background to the importance of conducting a study of KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim about education. This library research study seeks to answer the question of the implications of Islamic education based on the study of KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim with the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia today? Through content analysis and exploration, a discussion was produced that the implications of Islamic education based on the study of KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim on the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia, which includes curriculum coverage, principles, characteristics or characteristics, and principles of the Islamic education curriculum. These four implications are expected to have a positive impact on the development of the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia in a better direction.
