Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop learning media for the halma game to improve the ability to count multiples of a number for grade 4 SD in Demak Regency. This research method is Research and development. There are 3 stages in this research: the preliminary study stage, the development stage, media validation, and field testing, as well as the dissemination and socialization stage. The results of this study are in the form of manual learning media products in the form of multiples number board games from paper and MMT, and digital, in the form of digital in the form of a game application using articulate storyline 3. Validation from media experts and material experts gave assessments, validators I, II, III, and IV respectively 36, 35, 37, and 36 from a maximum score of 40. The media developed was categorized as very good. The results of the control class posttest t test and the experiment shows the value of t = -336 with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.664 bigger than α = 0.05, so that the media developed is valid.

Abstract

Supervisi merupakan salah satu tugas kepala sekolah yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sehingga akan mempengaruhi kualitas hasil pembelajaran. Namun karena adanya tumpang tindih pekerjaan kepala sekolah, maka tugas pengawasan tidak dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengembangkan model supervisi akademik dengan peer-based, dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan model supervisi akademik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan model yang dapat dinilai kelayakannya untuk mencari solusi dalam masalah supervisi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode research and development dengan mengembangkan model supervisi akademik berbasis teman sejawat. Sampel yang digunakan adalah guru SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bae Kudus. Hasil penelitian: 1) Guru di SMP Negeri Bae Kudus membutuhkan model supervisi akademik yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi nyata yaitu model supervisi akademik sistem delegasi untuk mencari solusi atas tumpang tindih peran dan tugas kepala sekolah, sehingga semua kompetensi guru yang ada dapat diberdayakan untuk kemajuan bersama. 2) Model supervisi akademik berbasis teman sejawat dapat memenuhi indikator pencapaian tujuan supervisi, teknik pelaksanaan supervisi, keterlibatan semua pihak dan menumbuhkan motivasi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model supervisi akademik berbasis teman sejawat dapat diterapkan sebagai model supervisi akademik yang memenuhi kebutuhan guru dan dapat menjadi solusi atas masalah tumpang tindih tugas dan peran kepala sekolah.

Abstract

The study aims to (1) explain the conditions of learning, (2) determining strategies for strengthening; and (3) explain the results of strengthening the application of character values of the commutative, associative, and distributive traits of counting whole numbers in improving the affective aspects of the 6th-grade students of SD 2 and 3 Temulus, Mejobo, Kudus. This research is a qualitative research with the type of field research in 2 locations, in SD 2 and 3 Temulus, Mejobo, Kudus. The research method used is multi-case qualitative with the type of field research in two locations, namely SD 2 and 3 Temulus, Mejobo, Kudus. The data collection technique was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used individual case data analysis and cross-case data analysis. The validity of the research data was tested by credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The results of this study are (1) learning conditions in strengthening the application of character values to the commutative, associative, and distributive traits of counting whole numbers are generally good. The learning atmosphere is more dynamic and students show interest and motivation to understand character values extracted from mathematical notations on formulas of the commutative, associative, and distributive properties of numeric arithmetic operations; (2) strategies to strengthen the application of character values including mapping of character values, preparation of learning strategies, habituation of character values, and teachers as role models in practicing character values; and (3) the results of strengthening the application of character values shown students have an understanding of the character values that appeared.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze and describe how the learning planning, actuating and evaluation at home in grade VI SD Negeri Karangasem 1, Sayung District, Demak Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Research data collection techniques are: (1) observation, (2) in-depth interviews, and (3) documentation. To check the validity of the data, a credibility test was used in the form of triangulation of sources, triangulation of methods and reference materials. The data analysis techniques used were: (1) data reduction (data reduction), (2) data presentation (data display), and (3) conclusion drawing (conclusion drawing). The results showed that learning planning was in the form of: (1) making a lesson plan, (2) setting learning objectives, (3) preparing teaching materials, (4) determining learning strategies or methods, and 5) preparing learning facilities. In the implementation of learning related to: (1) teacher activities in learning, (2) student activities in the learning process, (3) teacher interactions with students. In teaching evaluation, many things need to be considered, including: (1) achievement of learning objectives, (2) effectiveness of the media used, (3) teacher and student responses, and d. problems and solutions.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyze the necessary development, (2) develop, and (3) analyze the reliability of the mind mapping based pocketbook with the materials about the diversity in Indonesia to enhance the fourth graders’ civics learning outcomes in Rara Mendut cluster, Pati . This Research and Development used Borg and Gall model. The data were obtained from the interview, questionnaire, and attitude scale techniques. The results of the research are: First, the Pocketbook development is needed to improve the learning outcome by considering the characteristics of Civics materials and the developed learners’ cognitions at the concrete-operational stage. Secondly, the Pocketbook was successfully developed through 7 stages. Third, the Pocketbook was reliable with a very reliable criterion. N-Gain test on the trial run product obtained a percentage of 0.39. It meant there was an improvement result between the pretest and posttest with a moderate category.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a financial perspective, 2) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a customer perspective, 3) describe the performance of the SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from an internal business perspective , and 4) describe the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from the perspective of learning and growth. This research is quantitative descriptive research type. Research data obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research sample was taken from the population of teachers and parents/guardians of students as many as 20 teachers and 130 parents/students guardians. The results showed that 1) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on Balanced Scorecard approach from a financial perspective by 60% in the good category, 2) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from the customer perspective by 80% in the good category, 3) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from an internal business perspective by 82% in the excellent category, 4) the performance of SDIT Lentera Hati based on the Balanced Scorecard approach from a learning and growth perspective by 80% in the good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model based on manipulative teaching aids on the understanding of mathematical concepts and the self-confidence of elementary school students.The research method used is experimental research methods. The research design used is a pre-experimental one group pre-test-posttest design. In this study, the sample was grade VI SDN 1 Kangkung Demak students. The independent variable in this study is Problem Based Learning with manipulative teaching aids and the dependent variable is understanding mathematical concepts and students' self-confidence. Data collection uses observation to obtain data about students' self-confidence. The researcher used a questionnaire/questionnaire technique to obtain data on the PBL learning model with manipulative teaching aids in mathematics. The test instrument is in the form of a description of 10 questions, meanwhile a questionnaire is used to collect research data about the level of students' self-confidence.The results showed that based on the t-test, the t-value was 23,359, while the t-table with df=43 was 2.0195, the t-count t-table (23,359 2.0195), which means that the PBL model based on manipulative teaching aids is effectively used to increase the self-confidence of elementary school students. The effectiveness of PBL learning based on manipulative teaching aids is proven to increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts and self-confidence.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is the need to test the effect of postgraduate elementary education postgraduate student satisfaction analysis on hybrid learning management and learning facilities. The aim of this research is to determine (1) the influence of hybrid learning management on student satisfaction, (2) the influence of learning facilities on student satisfaction, and (3) the influence of hybrid learning management and learning facilities on student satisfaction. This research is a type of ex post facto quantitative research, methodologically it is experimental research which also tests hypotheses but does not carry out treatment. Research procedures include (1) potential and problems, (2) problem formulation, (3) theoretical basis, (4) hypothesis formulation, (5) data collection, (6) instrument testing, (7) data analysis, (8) conclusions. The research population was 300 students from the Postgraduate Basic Education Study Program (S2) with a sample of 50. The research results concluded that hybrid learning management had an effect on student satisfaction (0.000< 0.05), learning facilities also had an effect on student satisfaction (0.001< 0, 05), hybrid learning management and facilities simultaneously influence student satisfaction. The results of the multiple determination coefficient test show a value of 0.823, which means that the hybrid learning management variables and student learning facilities have an influence of 83% on student satisfaction. In the future, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the quality of infrastructure for managing hybrid learning so that services to students can be optimal.
