Abstract

The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya is the only museum that keeps a history of the struggle of the arek-arek Suroboyo in maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. To commemorate the services of the warriors, the Heroes Monument was erected. In order to support the Heroes Monument, an underground museum was built so as not to disturb the main attraction, namely the Heroes Monument itself. Nowadays, the people of Surabaya are less aware of the history of the fighters so they are less interested in visiting this museum.This study uses a qualitative method which aims to identify The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya as historical tourism. Data collection in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentaries. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative.Observation results show The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya stores 47 collections and 4 weapons of war from allied spoils. Based on the SWOT analysis, the results of this study are the Surabaya Tenth November Museum which has the potential of innovation that can be developed to attract more tourists who come to visit.Keyword: Heroes Monument, The Museum of Tenth November Surabaya, Development of Tourist Attraction, Heritage Tourism, SWOT.

Abstract

The Ogoh-ogoh Bali Collection is a center place to preserve one of the Balinese traditions that is "Ogoh-Ogoh", which is also seen as a small monument to preserve the culture as well as supporting tourism, especially cultural tourism. The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali Collection is located in Mengwi village, Badung regency, which has the great potential of cultural tourism in the form of cultural collections and interesting attraction for tourists. Based on these assumptions the background study of the topic chosen has raised concerns about the potential The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali Collection and obstacles faced in the management of cultural tourism attractions. Types and sources of data used are qualitative, primary and secondary data. Data collection is conducted by observation, interview, documentation, literature study, research instrument in the form of guide lines for the interview. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative data analysis using a matrix approach to the concept of 4A and SWOT analysis. These results indicate that the potential of the Ogoh-Ogoh Bali is quite large, in addition to have a collection that contains the value of history,art and culture, and spiritual, The Ogoh-Ogoh Bali also has a show or attraction called "The Ogoh-Ogoh Dance". Although the potential of theOgoh-Ogoh Bali is quite large, but to date, there are still many experienced constraints that must be resolved. Abstract

Educational tourism becomes a special interest tour for tourists who want to get a learning process whenvisiting a tourist destination. One of them is Bali, during the pandemic tourist destinations in Bali are still indemand by domestic and foreign tourists. Tabanan regency becomes one of the tourist attractions that offereducational tours nagi family tourists and child tourists. The village of cau Coklat, Kampung bIngo and SubakMuseum located in Tabanan Regency offer tourist activities while studying. Tourist activities offered by studyingthe process of harvesting chocolate fruit to making chocolate in the village of cau chocolate, picking organicvegetables and making it into a vegetable salad in the bingo village and seeing the traditional tools of Balinesefarmers in the Subak Museum. The management of educational tourism is inseparable from the importance of thecognitive realm, affective realm and psychomotor realm of children's tourism. This is important due to thepressure that child travelers can under pandemics with closed school conditions, online learning systems andrestrictions on large-scale activities for a long time. so that the management of educational tourism must becarried by all parties in order to be carried out properly and get a good response from child tourists.Keywords : Educational tourism, child tourists,Pandwemi Covid-19

Abstract

The background of this research begins when one travel agent in Jakarta provides a tour package based on Pro-Poor Tourism called Social Humanity Tour. In Social Humanity Tour tourists will be invited to see people’s lives, interact and conduct social activities in the slum area in Jakarta. Kampung Tongkol and Kampung Luar Batang are the most visited destinations for tourists. The purpose of this research is to know the socio-cultural impact of Pro-Por Tourism in Kampung Tongkol and Kampung Luar Batang based on the Social Humanity Tour. Data collection in this research is done through observation,interview, and documentation. The method used in this research is qualitative method and the collected data is analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method. The result obtained in this research regarding the changes in the form of community in Kampung Tongkol and Kampung Luar Batang is that there is a positive change. From 9 aspects of socio-cultural impacts used in the research, there are only 2 aspect that have changed in both villages. Communities become open-minded towards the tourism, the community becomes braver while interacting with tourists, and the community,especially the children, receives many benefits both in the material and non-material form. In addition tourists often educate the children there. Some suggestions that must be considered in this research is, that the communities should not be oriented with material assistance from tourists because it can threaten the sustainability of the tourism in both villages. Abstract

The research is concerning safety standardization of Cliff Jumping attraction in Tegal Wangi Beach is motivated by the local and foreign tourist that not knowing yet about potential and safety standardization of Cliff Jumping attraction on Tegal Wangi Beach. Along with the number of tourist visiting which continue to increase resulting local and foreign tourist need to learning about potential and safety standardization of Cliff Jumping attraction on Tegal Wangi Beach. The aim of this research is to knowing about potential and standardization of Cliff Jumping attraction to increase tourist attraction of Tegal Wangi Beach. Data sampling was performed by observation, depth interview, documentation and literature study. The data was obtained with descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the search shows that safety standardization of Cliff Jumping attraction can be seen in standardization and particular knowing of safety first. Community effort in increasing of Cliff jumping attraction including the effort already being done and the effort that will be done as well as the obstacles faced by the community of Jimbaran Village in increasing of potential Cliff Jumping attraction on Tegal Wangi Beach. Abstract

Adventure tourism is an outdoor activity that has grown and developed in recent years and is becoming increasingly popular as a nature-based regional development model. Adventure activities, especially mountain bikes, are mostly carried out by tourists visiting Bali. Karangasem Regency has a unique geographical condition in the form of a mountainous area that strongly supports the development of mountain biking activities. By examining the potential of adventure tourism owned by Karangasem Regency, it can be seen that the supporting resources of adventure tourism in the implementation of mountain biking activities in Karangasem Regency can be identified.This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. It uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling to determine and select informants. The data were collected by using a participatory observation by trying mountain bike activities in mountain area and interview the informants. The data analysis applied the content and meaning analysis using a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used in the analysis is adventure approach theory and tourism development components.The results of the analysis reveal that the supporting resources for mountain biking activities that are not yet fully available are contained in the location criteria related to permits and regulations, so that an appropriate plan is needed in order to meet the basic criteria in the completeness of supporting resources for adventure tourism. While the criteria for activity, security, natural resources and the environment, as well as the operational sector are almost entirely available, requiring development that is in accordance to make a sustainable mountain biking activities in Karangasem Regency. Abstract

Banyuwangi is one of the famous regency in East Java province because rapid tourism development. Banyuwangi has a many tourism potential like view of the stretch of mountains, beaches, forests and local culture. Tourism in Banyuwangi has various types, one of the most enjoyed is educational tourism especially at Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao Glenmore. This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational tourism in Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao is feasible or not. This research used qualitative methods with quantitative and qualitative data. Sampling determine technique using purposive sampling for informants. The data collection techniques used are, interviews, observations, library studies and documentation. The result of this research is that educational tours Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao almost have met all the criteria. There are three criteria, namely Naturalness, Contribution to Society, and Conducting Development. Agrotourism Doesoen Kakao still does not conduct development in several parts. Agrowisata Doesoen Kakao needs to make more attractions and provide services that add more comfort to tourists. Keyword: Education Tourism, Agrotourism, and Tourism

Abstract

The conservation potential of Leatherback Sea Turtle in Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach is for ecotourism attraction. This research was conducted at PeneluranJamursbaMedi Beach. This research was conducted to find out the potential of Leatherback Sea Turtle at JamursbaMediSpawningBeach as ecotourism attraction in Tambrauw Regency and also to find out the form of cooperation of Stakeholders in the area of Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach, Regency of Tambrauw, Province of West Papua. The type of data being used in this research was qualitative and quantitative with primary and secondary data source obtained through data sampling technique of depth interview observation, literature study with informant determination technique of purposive sampling and data analysis technique of descriptive qualitative. The result of research shows that in the area of Spawning Beach, Leatherback Sea Turtles have a potential to support tourism development in the form of natural, cultural and human. These three potencies are the assets to give contribution for tourism development and management of coastal park and has potential for ecotourism sector. So participation and active role of stakeholders namely Government, Population, and non-governmental organizations / WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is required for advancement and development in the area of Jamursba Medi Spawning Beach. Abstract

Tourists who come to visit Bali with their families will visit child-friendly tourist villages. The goal is that the child has a sense of security and comfort when visiting a tourist village. The experience will learn a new tourist area will increase enthusiasm and refresh children from all their activities. The identification of child- friendly tourism-based tourism villages is carried out to determine the level of safety, comfort and learning that children will get when carrying out tourism activities in the tourist village of Pemuteran, Buleleng Regency. The problem raised in this study is the identification of child-friendly tourism-based tourism villages and the identification of supporting facilities provided by tourism service providers in Pemuteran tourism village, Buleleng Regency. Abstract

Baliwoso camp that is located in Pengotan Village, Bangli Regency. Pengotan village has relatively cool temperature, with orange and coffee as the main commodity in this village. Baliwoso Camp presence drives the tourism in Pengotan Village, especially for special interest tourists who want to feel different sensations in his leisure. With the potiential of its tourism of Baliwoso Camp, which is closely related to the world of the campsite and to introduce local culture. Baliwoso Camp packages it in a modern way so that there is interest alone to research more deeply about the potential for special interest tourism in Baliwoso Camp. This research will be discussed to identify the components of tourism in Baliwoso Camp with 4A concept that focuses on attraction an activity, accessibility, amenity and ancilliary. To know the potential is done by direct observation and interviews with owner of Baliwoso Camp in Pengotan Village. With four categories of potential tourist attraction special interest in Baliwoso Camp knowable. Tourism potiential in Baliwoso Camp is natural and artificial is characteristic. With champsite atmosphere more attractive for special interest tourist. Local people who are active in Pengotan Village become one of the potential that can be developed in Baliwoso Camp. The category may also indicate the extent to which the development Baliwoso Camp both physical and non physical. It affects the local communities so that they can build a better future of Pengotan Village.
