Abstract

Speaking is the ability to pronounce articulated sounds or words to express, express, and convey thoughts, ideas, and feelings in Tarigan (1985: 98) results from initial observations with a total of 10 children aged 4 to 5 years, it seems that they are still underdeveloped in speaking this is due to the lack of teachers in implementing learning media, especially serial image media. So the researchers tried to solve it by using serial image media to improve children's ability to speak. With the formulation of the problem, how do you improve the ability to speak through serial media for group A TK PKK Ake Talaga in Tidore Islands?, The research objective was to describe the children speaking through serial pictures. The research is classroom action research (CAR), using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques and percentages. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation techniques, in the evaluation in cycle I, namely, in speaking well according to the serial image there were 20%, who began to develop while 80% had not yet experienced development in speaking and for indicators of daring to express ideas there were 3 children ( 30%) began to develop while (70%) had not yet developed in cycle II, they had started to show a significant increase, this can be seen in the results of observation and the results of reflection show that they have developed (70%) and have not developed ( 30%). Meanwhile, the indicator for the courage to present ideas has increased (85%) and those that are starting to develop (15%).

Abstract

The objective of this research to describe the result of planning, presenting, evaluating, and the result of reading and writing process in SD Negeri Kota Ternate. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive qualitative design is giving number that happen in the class interaction. The research also is ethnography research design. Ethnography research is a research that joining some learning activities: visual (seeing), listening, speaking, thinking, and doing by different way. The Techniques of collecting data by some steps: (1) observation, (2) lock book, (3) Interview, (4) recording, and (5) evaluating. The results of the research are: (1) the planning of reading and writing learning consist of: (a) to write indicator; (b) improving and organizing the material, media, and the source of learning; (c) the scenario of learning activity planning; (d) the plan of class managing; and (e) the procedure, kinds, and evaluating instruments planning; (2) reading and writing learning process in SD Negeri Kota Ternate is the teacher did not do the steps of reading and writing, the steps pre reading and writing, process of  reading and writing, and after reading and writing; (3) reading and writing learning evaluation showed that reading and writing learning planning is 67 %,  conducting reading and writing learning  60 %, and learning evaluation is 64,5%.

Abstract

Setelah mengkaji data hasil observasi dan wawancara, temuan penelitian di PAUD Telaga Woyo Desa Woyo Kecamatan Taliabu Barat menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam membina kreativitas pada anak usia dini belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman guru dan kepala sekolah terkait dengan pengembangan kreativitas seni. Guru telah mengajarkan kreativitas seni, namun belum sesuai dengan enam aspek perkembangan. Pengajaran lebih terfokus pada kegiatan di dalam kelas saja. Guru sebagai motivator dan mediator dalam mengembangkan kreativitas seni anak di PAUD Telaga Woyo sudah memberikan motivasi, namun pengembangan kreativitas tersebut belum dilakukan secara maksimal.
