Abstract

Abstract The purpose of study was to determine correlation between swallowing drug supervisor task and tuberculosis drug’s compliance. This research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. 66 respondent was choosed by purposive sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection’s tool in this research was a questionnaires that on validity at Swallowing drug supervisor task (r = 0,479 – 0,815) and reliability (0,925). The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The result showed that there was swallowing drug supervisor task and tuberculosis drug’s compliance with p value (0,024) < α = 0,05. Based on these results, it is expected the family members of the swallowing drug supervisor to improve their task that affect medication adherence of TB patients.
