Abstract

Nowadays, there have been so many development of robot that can receive command and do speech recognition and face recognition. In this research, we develop a humanoid robot system with a controller that based on Raspberry Pi 2. The methods we used are based on Audio recognition and detection, and also face recognition using PCA (Principal Component Analysis) with OpenCV and Python. PCA is one of the algorithms to do face detection by doing reduction to the number of dimension of the image possessed. The result of this reduction process is then known as eigenface to do face recognition process. In this research, we still find a false recognition. It can be caused by many things, like database condition, maybe the images are too dark or less varied, blur test image, etc. The accuracy from 3 tests on different people is about 93% (28 correct recognitions out of 30).

Abstract

In this paper, automatic pet feeder device was developed. This device is useful for feeding pets at home when all family members are busy working or traveling. The device settings can be controlled by the mobile application automatically, thus the pet owners can ensure the feeding of their pets. The development of this tool is based on an electronic board which uses an ESP8266 microcontroller namely WeMos D1 MINI and is equipped with a Relay Shield to control the amount of food released. In addition, through Blynk platform, the pet owners can control this device remotely. Pet feeding also can be done according to a schedule that can be pre-arranged as needed in realtime.

Abstract

In order to help students be more interested in learning about programming both at school and at home, we have designed educational toys in the form of humanoid robot. In this paper, intelligent robot movement control systems are developed, thus the students can interact directly and learn programming on human robots. For building a low-cost humanoid robot, we modified low-cost robot toy, that is Robosapien from Wowwee by embbeding a control system. The control system is developed based on Raspberry Pi Zero W, which enables us to control Robosapien's movements wirelessly. This learning media is expected to enhance the student’s spirit of learning, especially in the field of robotics and programming. The main contribution of the research is the description and analysis of various design decisions during the development of this humanoid robot. In addition, it provides information about the main components for development and example for interacting with robots as learning media.

Abstract

Bebek Kaleyo is a restaurant chain with several outlets in the food business. Information technology (IT) equipment is used extensively in Bebek Kaleyo's operating processes, and any problems with the IT hardware are escalated to the IT department for solutions. However, each restaurant branch's reporting of interruptions is still done by hand. Based on these issues and the analysis, it is necessary to speed up the complaint procedure to guarantee quick repairs of IT equipment and successful execution of tasks. The research was conducted by examining the company's daily activities, and the results were used to develop a ticketing system for monitoring process improvements and reporting interruptions. A ticketing system that facilitates effective reporting of IT issues and monitors process improvements was designed and developed as part of this research using the prototype methodology. The installed ticketing system helps users at each branch report problems, keep track of repairs, and improves the efficiency and quality of service provided by the IT department in support of the supply and use of system and technology-related facilities. By using this ticketing system, Bebek Kaleyo hopes to improve overall process efficiency while streamlining the process of reporting IT concerns. This solution gives branch users the ability to discuss IT issues with the IT department in an efficient manner, which improves the organization's operational performance.

Abstract

Home automation and data acquisition system using Telegram application makes us able to automate tasks related to control and monitoring through a system installed at home or building. In this research, we propose an algorithm and architecture used for Telegram-based home automation and data acquisition with environmental sensors such has temperature, humidity, CO2, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) measurement (air quality) as indicator of good air quality. Based on experiment, we can detect the condition of environment, control the relay and the system able to give information about the quality of air from smartphone.

Abstract

The Global COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing number of vehicles have exacerbated traffic congestion, particularly in developing countries. In Jakarta, Indonesia, congestion on toll roads is a significant issue that needs to be addressed through an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). One of the key solutions proposed is vehicle detection and traffic prediction on toll roads. This study introduces a computer vision-based approach utilizing YOLOv8 to detect, track, and count vehicles to predict traffic congestion. The system operates by identifying vehicles (cars and trucks), preprocessing the data, and calculating the total number of vehicles within the camera’s range. If the vehicle count surpasses the threshold set by the toll road provider, the system updates the traffic status (normal or congested) and triggers a warning. The vehicle detection system can identify cars and trucks within a range of up to 150 meters. Experimental results using test videos demonstrate that the YOLOv8-based system achieves an accuracy of 98% with an average detection speed of 83.6 milliseconds, ensuring highly efficient performance. With its high accuracy and speed, this system can be effectively integrated into traffic management solutions to alleviate congestion and enhance transportation efficiency in Jakarta.

Abstract

In the modern era, where global influences are rapidly shaping young minds, the need to maintain strong national identity and moral values is more crucial than ever. For Indonesian students, Pancasila education and character building play a central role in developing not only academic competence but also personal integrity and social responsibility.  The design approach involved analyzing student needs, integrating Pancasila-based content, as well as applying automated learning algorithms so that the chatbot can provide answers that match the context of the conversation especially Character-Building Pancasila topics. This Pancasila Character Building Chatbot is designed with Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology to provide creative, interactive, and interesting learning experiences that are easily understood by students. Implementation is done through a digital platform that allows students to interact in real-time in understanding the values of Pancasila, such as divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice. Furthermore, this innovation aims to bridge the gap between traditional moral education and modern digital learning methods. By utilizing artificial intelligence, the chatbot can adapt to different learning styles and provide personalized feedback to each student. It is hoped that the presence of Chatbot Character Building Pancasila can increase the enthusiasm for learning and curiosity of students so that learning character building Pancasila is more creative and interesting for students in university classrooms.
