Abstract

This aim of this research is to describe the application of STAD learning model by drawing series media to improve student’s narrative writting skills. The research uses qualitative  method with the type of PTK (Clasroom action research). The result of this research for two cycles is shows increased the results. The everage score of student writing narrative increased from 68 in the first cycle to 76 in the second cycle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model STAD berbantuan media gambar seri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian PTK. Hasil penelitian selama dua siklus menunjukkan hasil yang meningkat. Nilai rata-rata siswa menulis narasi mengalami peningkatan dari 68 pada siklus I menjadi 76 pada siklus II.
