Abstract

This research was conducted in July 2016, it was conducted in the Kelurahan of Belawan Bahari Medan city. This study aimed to analyze the production of Salted Fish Gulamah in Kelurahan Belawan Bahari starting from production inputs, production process, product of dried fish Gulamah, and analyze the distribution of salted fish Gulamah in District Belawan Bahari. The method used in this research is survey method and determine the respondents using the method applied bassed on population (Arikunto 2006).Based on the research results, for the production of salted fish Gulamah input using Gulamah fresh fish, the process includes several stages and the product is a salted fish Gulamah. Gulamah salted fish production in Kelurahan Belawan Bahari by 27 business units with an average production of salted fish once a production of 3 tons, with an average per month is 68.6 tons. Distribution of salted fishGulamah markets include in area Medan and some areas the city of Medan, Dairi, Deli Serdang, Labuhan Batu, Tapanuli Selatan, Tapanuli Tengah, Serdang Bedagai and Rantau Parapat with the distribution percentage of 40% over the market in the city of Medan and 60% outside the Medan market.Keywords: Production, Distribution, Gulamah Salted Fish, Kelurahan Belawan Bahari

Abstract

Study was conducted in January 2016 at Pagarantonga village PanyabunganSubsdistrict, Mandailing Natal District, North Sumatra Province. The study wasaimed to analyze comparison costs, production and earnings between farm systemand rice farming by change product with fish farming (sistem selang) inPagarantonga village. Method used in research was survey with respondents about27 people were selected purposively sampling. Production costs incurred businessrice farming by change product with fish farming (sistem selang) higher than 143% farming rice in a year. The number of rice production in farming rice more 57.7% than the number of rice production business rice farming by change productwith fish farming (sistem selang) a year. Gross income and net income obtainedby farmers business rice farming by change product with fish farming ( sistemselang) higher 79 % and than 24.6 % farming rice in a year. Contribution giventhe business of fish farming to the total net income farmers rice farming bychange the product with fish farming (sisem selang) of 52.4 % .Keywords: costs, production, income, rice farming by change product with fishfarming (sistem selang)

Abstract

This study was conducted in February 2017 which located in Petapahan Village Tapung Subsdistrict Kampar District Riau Privince. This study was aimed to knowledge the changing income from fish catch before and after the introduction of sand mining and analyze the influence of factors age, education and asset ownership on changes in livelihoods fishermen. Methods used in this research is a method of survey with 50 respondents determinatied by the census. There is a decrease in revenue from fishing with average IDR 2.154.000,- per month (68 %) after activity the introduction of mining sand, namely from IDR 3.268.667,- per month to IDR 1.114.667,- per month and significant statistically Factors that effecting a change of livelihoods fishermen significantly are age of fishermen and asset ownership, but the education level not significant .Keywords: income, livelihood, sand mining, Tapung River

Abstract

This research was conducted in February, 2017 located in Buluh Island Kelurahan Buluh Island Bulang Subdistrict Batam City Riau Island Province. This study aims to find out the level of income and expenditure of traditional fishermen households, factors causing poverty and survival strategy of traditional fishermen Buluh Island. The method used in this study is survey method with 48 household as respondents determination by simple random sampling. Average income level of fisherman household is Rp.761,979,-/month and the average expenditure of traditional fishing households was Rp.1.236.681,-/month. A factors causing poverty of the most influential traditional fishermen is the factor of human resources, with low level of education the tradisional fisherman can not find alternative job that can help fisherman out of poverty line. While survival strategies commonly practiced by tradisional fisherfolk household are optimizing is to optimize the role of family members, regulating consumption patterns and borrowing to survive poverty.Key word: Income, expenditure, poverty, fishermen.

Abstract

This study was conducted on 26 January to February 9 2016 in the Kelurahan Haranggaol Haranggaol Horison sub district Simalungun regency north sumatera province. The purpose of the study was to determine and profit tilapia and tilapia mixed common carp and tilapia floating cage tilapia and business, know tilapia mixed common carp in floating cage in the review of several criteria investation like FRR, RCR, PPC. The method used in this research is a case study. Based on the results obtained by comparasion of investment and business profit amounted 634.895.000 milion rupiah tilapia and tilapia mixedc ommon carp 704.395.000 milion rupiah. Based on investment criteria for tilapia is FRR 94 %, RCR 1.9 and PPC Years. Abstract

This study was conducted in May 2016 in Pasar II Natal Village Natal Districts Mandailing Natal Regency North Sumatra Province. The purpose of the research are to identify the types of business of fisherman household members, to analyze the contribution of household members fisherman and the analyze business profitability cultivated by household members fisherman. The research method was used by survey and the determine of respondents by census. The results of this research indicate that activities performed by fisherman household members in Pasar II Natal Village on the fisheries sector and non fisheries. The contributions of household members fisherman given by the fishermen themselves is relatively high at 69.84%, from the fisherman's wife with a contribution of 14.46% which is low, as well as the children of fishermen with a contribution 25.7% were classified as low. Value business profitability cultivated by household members fisherman both wives and children of fishermen all > 25%, so that the business can be said is already profitable, efficient and feasible to be developed.Keywords : Contribution, Fisherman Household Members, Income

Abstract

This study was conducted in May 2017 which located in Sipungguk VillageSalo Subsdistrict Kampar District Riau Province. This study was to knew theinvestment, analyzing large input supply, knew business feasibility and knewobstacles cultivator in the development of the business of cultivating carp in the net atSipungguk Village. Methods used in this research is a method of survey with 10respondents determinatied by the purposive sampling. The result showed thatinvestment of business enlargement carp in the nets at the Sipungguk Village anaverage of IDR 9.319.300,- per cultivator. Gross income received by cultivator of thecarp an average of IDR 13.753.600,- per harvesting and net income received bycultivator of the carp an average of IDR 10.230.500,- per harvest. Financially thebusiness of cultivating carp in the nets done by cultivator of the carp at the SipunggukVillage advantageous and worthy of continued. Obstacles experienced cultivator ofthe as road access inadequate, lacking training, access to capital limited, lackingconcern the government, and riversides less smoothly.Keywords: business feasibility, carp, nets

Abstract

This research was conducted in January 2016 at Muara Port, South Padang Regency, Padang City, West Sumatera Province. This research purposed were to analyze how much the investation, gross income, nett income, the worthiness business from investation criteria RCR, FRR, and PPC, and also to know about the problem in the fishing business that used troll line ship with 5 GT and 6 GT size. This research used case study method with the determination respondent technique is purposive sampling, there are the owner of ship and fishing master. The research indicated that total investation from 5 GT troll line ship as Rp.300.386.902,50, gross income in every trip as Rp. 24.950.000, nett income in every trip as Rp. 11.195.805.00, RCR=1,29, FRR = 34 % , PPC = 54 trip. The total investation for 6 GT troll line ship as Rp.376.127.938,50, gross income in every trip as Rp.34.080.000,00, nett income in every trip as Rp. 17.076.677.00, RCR = 1,33, FRR = 41 %, PPC = 44 trip. The arrest business with 6 GT troll line ship is more profitable and worthy to continue than the 5 GT troll line ship. The problem are the difficult selling the fishing result, there’s no insurance for the worker, the difficult in administration process, decrease of fish quantity in the sea, and the high fuel price.Key Word : Troll Line, Investation, Income, Worthiness Business, Muara Port

Abstract

This research was conducted in April-May 2016 wich is placed in the Kelurahan Karan Aur, Central Pariaman Subdistrict, Pariaman City, West Sumatra Province. This recearch aims to knowing the change in social and economic conditions in the fishermen households at region of Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) Kelurahan Karan Aur. The method used in this research is method survey with respondents 44 fishermen households. Based on the research results,change in social conditions in the fishermen households at region of TPI Kelurahan Karan Aur that increasing the education of childrens of fishermen, the deterioration of the environment to be around TPI as there are many waters that pooled completed activities in TPI and environment around TPI to stink and the formation of three groups of fishermen, while change in economic conditions in the fishermen households at region of TPI Kelurahan Karan Aur that increasing the income of fishermen household, presence of business opportunities and can obtain alternative employment as open stalls, pedicab driver, seller seawater, washers fish. Abstract

This study was conducted on May 2016 at CV. Laut Deli Belawan North Sumatera . The method used is survey method . Based on the research that has been done toward the Economic Value added of blue swimming crab processing consist of steam crab and meat crab. There are 7 various and its percentage, such as jumbo (12,5 %), flower as (12,5 %), special (12,5%), backfin (12,5%), and there other produt of claw meat (red meat) such as claw fingger (16,67%), leak meat (16,67 %), and secound grade (16,67 %). Value added of blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) at westerly period (time of scarcity before harvest) amount Rp 51.189.500/month and value easterly period amount Rp 71.706.400/month.
