Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to look at the Influence of Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament on Student Learning Outcomes in Subjects Economics at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. The formulation of the problem, namely “is there an influence of cooperative learning teams games tournament against student learning outcomes on economic subjects in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang". The method in this research is the method of associative research. The population in this study were all students of X (tenth) grade of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. The sample technique used was cluster random sampling and X.2 with 30 students have selected as a sample. techniques used in data collection were tests and observation. The results were obtained thitung ? ttabel, then the hypothesis, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Then it can be concluded there is significant cooperative learning teams tournament games against student learning outcomes on economic subjects in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Furthermore, the results of student learning in the subjects of Economics at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang with the implementation of Cooperative Learning Teams Games Tournament based on constraints in the study, suggested that teachers who will implement the type of teams games tournament to keep the attention on students within these divisions both initial group or tournament games groups and guiding students in group discussions. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Adapun rumusan masalah yaitu “apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang”. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas X.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi. Hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kemudian dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Selanjutnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang dengan diterapkannya Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament berdasarkan kendala dalam penelitian ini, disarankan agar guru yang akan menerapkan tipe teams games tournament untuk tetap mengawasi siswa dalam pembagian kelompok baik kelompok awal maupun kelompok games tournament dan membimbing siswa dalam diskusi kelompok.
