Abstract

The aims of this research was to develop learning device of Advanced Calculus 1 subject with scaffolding-based problem-solving abilities that include syllabi, lesson plan, learning media, student worksheets and assessment, and determine the effectiveness of the implementation of scaffolding-based learning problem-solving abilities in the subject Advanced Calculus 1.This research was a Research and Development (R & D). Methods of data analysis done by using triangulation mix-design method by simultaneously analyze data from quantitative and qualitative data as well as data combined. The results showed that the development of the learning course Advanced Calculus 1 with scaffolding based problem solving ability using learning device development of Borg and Gall models which has been modified. Results of learning device development course Advanced Calculus 1 consists of a syllabi, lesson plan, student worksheet, observation sheets and feasible achievement test used. Furthermore limited trial obtained tvalue ?»Ôé¼?¢7,440 ?»Ôé¼?¥ttable ?»Ôé¼?¢1,645so H0 is rejected. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah: (1) Penggunaan pembelajaran tipe TAI menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS; (2) Siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan tinggi menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan sedang dan rendah, dan siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan sedang menghasilkan prestasi yang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan rendah. Berdasarkan uji hipoteris diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: (1) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI menghasilkan prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik dibandingkan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada materi bangun ruang (Fa = 9.064 dengan Ftabel = 3.882 ). (2) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki keaktifan belajar tinggi lebih baik  daripada siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan belajar yang sedang dan rendah, dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki keaktifan belajar sedang lebih baik daripada siswa yang mempunyai keaktifan belajar rendah. (Fb = 53.298 dengan Ftabel = 3.034). (3) Metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI menghasilkan prestasi belajar lebih baik dibandingkan metode pembelajaran tipe TPS  pada siswa dengan keaktifan belajar tinggi, sedang dan rendah (Fab = 0.739 dengan Ftabel = 3.034).Kata kunci : Teams Assisted Individualization, Think Pair Share, Keaktifan Siswa

Abstract

Mathematical literacy has an important role in the world of education for the assessment of AKM. SMP Negeri 1 Juwana is in an effort to prepare AKM so that information related to mathematical literacy is needed. This study aims to describe the mathematical literacy ability of class VIII F students of SMP Negeri 1 Juwana with adversity quotient climbers, campers, quitters in solving the problem of building a flat side space. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection used are tests and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation by comparing data from 2 sources. The results showed that climbers students went through the process of formulating, applying, and interpreting mathematical literacy with 6 indicators completely. Campers students go through the process of formulating, applying and interpreting mathematical literacy, butwhen applying the concept by elaborating the completion steps in finding mathematical solutions it is not optimal, the interpretation that students write is not associated with real-world problems, the explanation of the reasons given does not make sense based on context. problem. Quitter students go through the process of formulating because students do not write anything on the answer sheet when designing strategies, the application of student concepts is not appropriate and only uses 1-2 steps of completion, students do not interpret the results obtained in the context of real-world problems, explanations of the reasons given students do not make sense based on context. Factors that affect mathematical literacy skills based on AQ are generally influenced by the lack of knowledge related to mathematical literacy, not being accustomed to working on mathematical literacy-type questions.
