Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kecerdasan spasial dan kemandirian belajar terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Buleleng sebanyak 1372 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling, dan didapatkan ukuran sampel 300 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes kecerdasan spasial, angket kemandirian belajar, dan tes pemahaman konsep pada materi program linear, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kecerdasan spasial siswa tergolong cukup baik dengan rata-rata skor 67,2. Kemandirian belajar siswa tergolong baik dengan rata- rata skor 73,9. Pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi program linear tergolong cukup dengan rata-rata skor 62,0. Selanjutnya, (1) kontribusi kecerdasan spasial terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi program linear sebesar 36,6%. (2) kontribusi kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi program linear sebesar 11,6%. (3) kecerdasan spasial dan kemandirian belajar siswa secara simultan berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa untuk materi program linear sebesar 42,8%.Kata-kata kunci : kecerdasan spasial, kemandirian belajar, pemahaman konsep, program linearAbstractThe main purpose of this research was to know the contribution of spatial intelligence and self-directed learning toward understanding of mathematic concepts. The population of this research was eleven grade of senior high school students in Buleleng sub-district as many as 1372 students. Simple random sampling technique was used to determine the sample of this research, which altogheter 300 students. Data was collected by spatial intelligence test, self-directed learningquestionnaire, and understanding of mathematic concepts in a linear program material test. Data was analyzed by simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result indicate that the students spatial intelligence was classified enough level with an average score of 67,2. The students self-directed learning was classified good level with an average score of 73,9. The students understanding of mathematic concepts in a linear program material was classified enough level with an average score of 62,0. Then (1) the contribution spatial intelligence of toward understanding of mathematic concepts in a linear program material is 36,6%. (2) the contribution of self-directed learning toward understanding of mathematic concepts in a linear program material11,6%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan memperoleh perangkat pembelajaran matematika realistik bagi siswa SMP kelas VII dengan seting model kooperatif MURDER yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa buku siswa, buku petunjuk guru, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dengan mengikuti prosedur pengembangan produk dari Plomp yang meliputi lima tahap yaitu: (1) investigasi awal; (2) desain; (3) realisasi/konstruksi; (4) tes, evaluasi, dan revisi; dan (5) implementasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sudah termasuk perangkat pembelajaran yang baik karena telah memiliki nilai validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan yang tinggi. Hal ini terlihat dari pendapat validator, respons guru, respons siswa, dan hasil uji coba lapangan. Hasil uji coba perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan aktivitas siswa yang tinggi sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan agar pembelajaran matematika di SMP kelas VII menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran matematika realistik dengan seting model kooperatif MURDER. Selain itu, perangkat pembelajaran yang telah berhasil dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman bagi guru untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran yang diterapkannya baik dari segi prosedur pengembangan maupun proses untuk melihat kualitas perangkat pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan matematika realistik, model kooperatif MURDER.ABSTRACTThis study aims at developing the realistic mathematics instructional materials for the seventh grade student which valid, practical, and effective base on model of cooperative MURDER. In this study handbooks, instructional guide, and lesson plans were developed. development procedure was applied to conduct the study which consist of five stages, namely: (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, and revision, and (5) implementation. The result of this study shows that the instructional materials which had been developed, has high validity, practicality, and effectiveness. It can be seen from the result of the validation review, teacher and responses, and the result of the try out. The try out result shows that students were highly involved in teaching and learning activities that affect their high achievement in mathematics. Considering the good result of the try out, it is suggested that the realistic mathematics instructional base on model of cooperative MURDER should be implemented in teaching mathematics in the seventh grade of junior high school. Moreover, instructional materials that have been successfully developed in this study, can be used as a guidelines for teacher to develop instructional mathematics suitable with the characteristic of the instructional both in term of developing procedures and process to see the quality of the instructional materials.Key words: instructional materials, realistic mathematics education, model of cooperative MURDER
