Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu bagian dari kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampun berpikir kreatif siswa melalui penerapan problem based learning (PBL) berpendekatan saintifik pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 2 Magelang. Jenis penelitian pre experimental design dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah kelas X SMA N 2 Magelang semester 2 tahun ajaran 2017/2018, sample penelitian kelas X IPA 2 dan 4 yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel bebas berupa model PBL dan variabel terikat berupa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Data dianalisis dengan uji paired sample t test dan uji n-gain. Hasil uji paired sample t test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan PBL. Berdasarkan uji n-gain diketahui bahwa 76% siswa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya termasuk pada kategori sedang, dan 24% siswa berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah siswa kreatif dan sangat kreatif dari pertemuan 1 sampai 3 semakin meningkat dan 98% siswa menunjukkan sikap kreatif dan sangat kreatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL berpendekatan saintifik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan.   Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, problem based learning, pendekatan saintifik

Abstract

Hutan Kota Tinjomoyo adalah ruang terbuka hijau yang menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif dalam menjaga keanekaragaman hayati termasuk kupu-kupu di daerah perkotaan. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk akibat urbanisasi menyebabkan perluasan wilayah perkotaan yang mengancam hilangnya kawasan hutan kota dan menjadi ancaman serius bagi keanekaragaman hayati di dalamnya salah satunya kupu-kupu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kekayaan jenis kupu-kupu yang ada di Hutan Kota Tinjomoyo, Kota Semarang. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2023 menggunakan metode Point Count dengan tiga kali pengulangan dan di identifikasi dengan menggunakan beberapa buku identifikasi salah satunya Identification Guide For Butterflies Of West Java. Hasil penelitian mencatat sebanyak 73 jenis kupu-kupu teridentifikasi di Hutan KotaTinjomoyo, Kota Semarang. Komposisi spesies famili dari yang tertinggi yakni Nymphalidae (29 Spesies), Lycaenidae(23 Spesies), Papilionidae (7 Spesies), Hesperiidae (7 Spesies) dan Pieridae(7 Spesies).

Abstract

Gekko gecko sering disebut tokek rumah merupakan spesies tokek yang mengalami perubahan status dari nonapendiks CITES menjadi masuk daftar apendiks II. Populasi tokek rumah secara lokal belum banyak diketahui di wilayah persebarannya di Indonesia. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan survei lapangan guna mendapatkan gambaran terkini. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesesuaian substrat tekstur permukaan media pijak tokek rumah (Gekko gecko) di Kabupaten Kendal. Kajian dilakukan melalui sebuah metode visual encounter survey dengan poin pengamatan adalah media pijak yang digunakan tokek rumah pada 204 bangunan rumah sebagai sampel. Hasil penenlitian menunjukkan bahwa tokek rumah cenderung memilih habitat yang dekat dengan permukiman manusia, dengan media pijak ditemukan terbanyak pada perabotan kayu (14 individu), selanjutnya diikuti tembok berlapis cat (9 individu), sementara saluran pipa menjadi media pijak paling sedikit (1 individu).

Abstract

Problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial interest are the kinds of skills that must be owned by the students to face the world of work and citizenship in the 21st century. The PjBL model through waste product development projects as a solution to solving environmental problems is considered a potential learning strategy for developing problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial interest student. The background of SMA Negeri 1 Kersana as an adiwiyata school which has various waste management and processing activities has the potential to implement projects to manage old leaf waste into leaf skeleton craft products. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the PjBL model on students' problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial interest in environmental change material, and analyze the relationship between problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial interest in learning the PjBL model. This research used pre experimental design with the one shot case study. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Kersana who received biology subjects for the 2023/2024 school year. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling technique, the sample in this study was class X-2 with 36 students. The test instruments was used to measure students' problem solving ability while questionnaire instruments was used to measure entrepreneurial interest. The average score of problem solving ability was 77.05 and the posttest classical completeness of problem solving ability was 91.67%. The average score ofentrepreneurial interest was 83.9 and the criteria level for entrepreneurial interest is good at 27.78%, very good at 72.22%. Based on these results, it can be  concluded that PjBL is effective on students' problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial interest in environmental change material. The results of a simple linear regression test between problem solving ability and students' entrepreneurial interest show tcount > ttable, namely 2.466 > 2.032 and a significance level of 0.019 < 0.05, so there is a significant positive relationship between problem solving ability and students' entrepreneurial interest in the PjBL learning model.

Abstract

The increase in GHGs in Semarang City, caused by the increase in motorized vehicles and industrial activity, has resulted in a decrease in environmental quality in urban areas and air pollution. Data from the Semarang City Environmental Service (2019), shows that total CO2e emissions in 2018 were dominated by CO2, namely 33,505,357.22 tons of CO2 (85.24%) of the total CO2e tons of GHG emissions. To reduce CO2 emissions in Semarang City, one way that can be done is by utilizing urban forests which can absorb carbon dioxide. Based on these conditions, estimates of stored carbon reserves and carbon uptake in urban forests need to be calculated to determine the CO2 that plants in urban forests can absorb. This research aims to analyze the amount of stored carbon reserves and carbon uptake in the Tinjomoyo Semarang City Forest ecosystem. This research uses an exploratory method carried out through direct observation and measurement in the field. The sampling technique used is the belt transect method. The stand measurement method is carried out using the Non-Destructive Test (NDT) method or by not damaging the research samples. Stand data analysis was carried out using the allometric equation method. Based on calculation results, the number of individual stands in the Tinjomoyo Semarang City Forest area is 367 individual stands. The total amount of biomass is 125.5 tonnes/ha, the total carbon stock is 57.72 tonnes/ha and the total amount of carbon uptake is 211.8 tonnes/ha. This research shows that the estimated carbon reserves stored in the Tinjomoyo City Forest ecosystem, Semarang are 57.72 tonnes/ha with a carbon uptake value of 211.8 tonnes/ha.
