Abstract

The assessment at high school level has not been able to measure the cognitive, affective and psychomotor skill. The objectives of the research is to measure the quality, effectiveness, and the practicality of scientific literacy-based self and peer assessment in the ecosystem learning. This research and development consists of several stages. Requirement analysis, design and development of instruments based on the observations in SMA N 1 Gubug. The review is conducted by four experts. Limited scale trial performed on 10 learner and the broad scale carried out in XG as the experiment class and XF as the control class.The instrument is valid and suitable to be usedbased on the experts review. The effectiveness of self assessment evident from the cognitive experimental class mean and n-gain mean is different from the control class. In the t-test to the mean value of psychomotor not difference. Based on students and teachers questionnaire, instrument to be practically. Based on the the analysis, it mean that the instrument of scientific literacy-based self assessment was suitable, effective, and practical in ecosystem learning, while the instrument of scientific literacy-based peerassessment hadsuitable, andpractise but not effective in ecosystem learning.Penilaian yang dilakukan di sekolah menengah belum dapat mengukur aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan, menguji kualitas, efektifitas, dan kepraktisan instrumen self dan peer assessment berbasis literasi sains pada pembelajaran ekosistem. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini terdiri dari bebersapa tahap. Analisis kebutuhan, desain dan pengembangan instrumen didasarkan pada hasil observasi di SMA N 1 Gubug. Review dilakukan oleh empat pakar. Uji coba skala terbatas dilakukan pada 10 peserta didik dan uji coba skala luas dilakukan pada kelas XG sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XF sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrument  dinyatakan valid dan nlayak digunakan berdasarkan review pakar. Instrumen self assessment terbukti efektif, terbukti dari hasil uji rerata n-gain dan rerata nilai kognitif kelas eksperimen berbeda dengan kelas kontrol. Pada uji t terhadap rerata nilai psikomotor membuktikan tidak ada perbedaan. Berdasarkan angket peserta didik dan guru, instrument dinyatakan praktis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disimpulkan instrumen selfassessmentberbasis literasi sains layak, efektif serta praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran ekosistem, sedangkan peer assessmentberbasis literasi sains layak digunakan, praktis tetapi belum efektif dalam pembelajaran ekosistem.

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar siswa yang rendah dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 11 Semarang menyebabkan hasil belajar yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengajaran Quantum terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuantitatif. Desain Quasi eksperimen post-test only control group design dan one shot case study digunakan untuk menganalisis keefektifan hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap kelas eksperimen menggunakan pengajaran Quantum dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode diskusi observasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 4 (kelas eksperimen 1), X MIPA 5 (kelas kontrol), dan X MIPA 6 (eksperimen 2). Analisis uji komparatif hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan independent sample test kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol diperoleh thitung (3,97) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 2,67 diperoleh nilai thitung (8,97) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek sikap menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 3 diperoleh nilai thitung (15,79) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pengajaran Quantum efektif terhadap hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.  The low of student activities and lack of teaching media were used in learning environmental pollution for the class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang caused learning outcomes weren’t optimal. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Quantum teaching toward student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution. This research method is quantitative experiments. Quasi-experimental design of a post-test only control group design and one-shot case study was used to analyze the effectiveness of student learning outcomes of knowledge and attitude aspects of classroom teaching experiment using Quantum with the control class using discussion method of observation. The sample used is class X MIPA 4 (experimental class 1), X MIPA 5 (control class), and X MIPA 6 (experimental class 2). The analysis of the comparative test outcomes with aspects of knowledge using independent sample test to experimental class with control class obtained tcount (3.97) > ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of learning outcomes aspects of knowledge using one sample test showed that there was an average difference in student learning outcomes through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 2.67 was obtained tcount (8.97) > ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of the student learning outcomes used one aspect attitude until the test showed that there are differences in average outcomes of learning through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 3 obtained tcount (15.79) > ttable 5% (2.00). The result of study shows that the application of Quantum teaching is effective for student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Experimental Design, dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Garung sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media audiovisual dan kelas VIII B (kelas kontrol) menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket. Data hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan siswa diambil dari tes tertulis materi sistem ekskresi, kompetensi keterampilan diambil dari pengamatan, dan kompetensi sikap dari angket penilaian diri, antar teman, dan pengamatan. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan deskriptif persentase dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar. Dilihat dari persentase siswa termotivasi sebesar 100%, siswa tuntas kompetensi sikap sebesar 100%, kompetensi keterampilan 91%, kompetensi pengetahuan 79%, dan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dari nilai thitung= 4,56 > ttabel = 2,04. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.  The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of PBL model assisted audio-visual media toward students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research used Experimental Design and used two classes as experiment and control class. The population on this research was the students of class VIII of SMP 1 Garung while the sample is class VIII A (experiment class) used PBL model assisted audio-visual media and class VIII B (control class) used cooperative learning. The motivation data of student’s learning achieved is by questionnaire. Data of student’s knowledge competence learning result taken from written test of materials excretion system, competence skill is taken from the observation, attitudes, and competencies of self-assessment questionnaire, among friends, and observations. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage and t-test. The result of this research showed that the PBL model assisted audio-visual media was effective for students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Judging from the percentage of students motivated by 100%, students completed the competence of the attitude of 100%, 91% competency skills, 79% knowledge competencies, and the result of t-test showed that the results of experimental class knowledge learning competence better than control class from score t = 4,56> ttable = 2,04. The conclusion from this research is the PBL model assisted audio-visual media effectively to students’motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 pada materi gerak tumbuhan belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Hal ini disebabkan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum menuntun siswa untuk menemukan konsep, melainkan hanya memberi konsep. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yang mengukur hasil belajar kognitif. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis guided inquiry pada materi gerak tumbuhan. Penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang dimodifikasi. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan menggunakan 15 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik stratified sampling, sedangkan uji coba skala besar menggunakan 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKS masuk kriteria valid. Penggunaan LKS dikatakan efektif karena hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan 94,4% siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal. Penggunaan LKS dikatakan praktis karena respon guru mencapai 75% masuk kategori praktis, sedangkan tanggapan siswa mencapai 80,5% masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis, 16,7% masuk dalam kategori praktis, dan 2,8% masuk dalam kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis guided inquiry valid, efektif dan praktis digunakan pada pembelajaran materi gerak tumbuhan. The results of cognitive learning eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Semarang academic year 2014/2015 on a motion of plant material has not reached the classical completeness. This is due to the teaching materials used do not lead students to discover concepts, but only to give the concept. Therefore, it is necessary to have a model of learning and teaching materials to enhance the understanding of the concept that measures the cognitive learning. The problem can be overcome by learning to use the LKS-based guided inquiry in motion plant material. This research is the Research and Development (R & D) is modified. Small-scale trials conducted using 15 students drawn by stratified sampling, whereas large-scale trial using 36 students. The results showed that the development of LKS qualify as valid. Use of LKS is said to be effective for cognitive learning results showed 94.4% of pupils achieving the expected classical completeness. Use of LKS say practical because the response of teachers to achieve 75% categorized as practical, while the responses of students reached 80.5% in the category very practical, 16.7% in the category of practical, and 2.8% in the category enough. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the LKS based guided inquiry valid., effective and practical to use learning materials plant motion.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Taman sekolah dapat berperan sebagai sumber belajar, namun belum terdapat suatu bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) yang dapat mengakomodasi pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan LKS berbasis observasi pada taman sekolah sebagai sumber belajar sains di SD. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD N Tinjomoyo 1 Semarang, pada dua kelas IV. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D, dengan penekanan pada penilaian kelayakan dan ujicoba LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penilaian kelayakan LKS oleh: pakar materi sebesar 90% (sangat layak), pakar desain sebesar 96% (sangat layak), dan guru sebesar 93,18% (sangat layak). Hasil pengujian LKS pada kelas skala kecil (kelas IVB) menunjukkan: rerata aktivitas siswa sebesar 94,6 %, siswa tuntas belajar sebanyak 90%, dengan rerata nilai sebesar 7,08. Selanjutnya pengujian pada kelas skala besar (kelas IVA) menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu: rerata aktivitas siswa sebesar 100 %, siswa tuntas belajar sebanyak 92,11%, dengan rerata nilai sebesar 7,84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan LKS berbasis observasi taman sekolah, layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar sains di SD N 1 Tinjomoyo  Semarang. .   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The school garden can be learning resources, but yet there is no student worksheet that can accommodate  the use of garden as learning resources. This study aimed  to determine the feasibility of the student worksheet developed after  observing  the school garden as a source of learning science. This study was conducted at SD N Tinjomoyo 1 Semarang, on two grade 4th classes. The study design used was  R&D, with the emphasis on the feasibility assesment and the testing of  the worksheet. The results showed that the worksheets  was  appreciated by:  biology learning materials experts 90% (very feasible), design experts 96% (very good),  teacher by 93.18% (very appropriate). The worksheet analysis showed that, on small-scale class (class IVB): the average score of students activity was 94.6%, 90% of students passed  the study, with an average score 7.08. Based on large-scale field testing (class IVA), it  showed that: the average of student activity was  100%, 92.11% students passed the study, with an average score of 7.84. The conclusion was that  the development of schools garden observation-based worksheets, was suitable for  the  use as science instructional materials at  SD N 1 Tinjomoyo Semarang.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchwas to knewthe teaching materials used in Junior High School of YPE Semarang, developed modules suitable with the characteristics of conservation and reasonable used for learning, and knew the effectiveness of the conservation modules on biodiversity material to the student learning outcomes in Junior High School of YPE Semarang. This research used a design research and development , and the trial big scale used design Control Group Pre - test Post - test . The subjects research on product trialwas student of class VII A as the control class and VII B as the experimental class . The results of research showed thatestimation of  the conservation modules development by media expert94 % and material expert 90 % with really reasonable categorized. Positive respons studentto used the results of module development reached 98.8 % , and based on the trial module usage showed that learning outcomes the experimental class higher thanthe control class, classical completeness of the experimental class reached 92 % , while the control class reached 72 % . This research concluded that the development of conservation moduleswasreasonable and effective inbiodiversity material learning.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahan ajar yang digunakan di SMP YPE Semarang, mengembangkan modul sesuai dengan karakteristik konservasi dan layak untuk pembelajaran. serta mengetahui keefektifanmodul konservasi materi keanekaragaman hayati terhadap hasil belajar  siswa SMP YPE Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development, dan pada uji coba skala luas digunakan rancangan Control Group Pre-test Post-test. Subjek penelitian untuk uji coba produk adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian hasil pengembangan modul konservasi oleh pakar media 94% dan pakar materi 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan hasil pengembangan modul mencapai 98,8% (positif). Berdasarkan uji coba pemakaian modul menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yaitu ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen mencapai 92%, sedangkan kelas kontrol mencapai 72%. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa pengembangan modul konservasi layak digunakan dan efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan JAS dengan sumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di MA Al Asror Gunungpati. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XA (kelas kontrol) dan XB (kelas eksperimen). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan >75% aktivitas belajar siswa masuk kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif. Secara kognitif, rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai 96,4% sedangkan kelas kontrol 60,7%. Berdasarkan analisis data aspek psikomotorik, kelas eksperimen mendapatkan hasil lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol, yaitu 100% siswa masuk kriteria A. Pada aspek afektif di kelas eksperimen 85,7% siswa masuk kriteria sangat baik, dan sisanya pada kriteria baik. Hasil analisis uji n-gain aktivitas dan semua hasil belajar kelas eksperimen memperoleh rerata lebih tinggi. Hasil rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 98,3% siswa mengatakan terlaksana (kinerja guru sangat baik). Secara umum guru dan siswa juga memberikan tanggapan sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan JAS bersumber belajar Laboratorium Biologi dan Kebun Wisata Pendidikan Unnes berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar materi Keanekaragaman hayati siswa kelas X MA Al Asror Gunungpati. The study aimed to find out the students’ activities and results in learning using JAS approach. The resources were Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes. The material learned was Biodiversity in MA Al Asror Gunungpati. This study was done by a quasi-experimental design. The sample used was XA class (control group) and XB (experimental group).The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that >75% of student learning activities qualified as active and very active. Cognitively, the average completeness study of the end of the experimental class students reached 96,4% while the control group was 60,7%. Based on data analysis of psychomotor aspect, the experimental class got better results than the control class, it was 100% of students in criteria of A. The affective aspects in the experimental class showed that 85.7% of students qualified as very good, and the others were in good criteria. The results of analysis of n-gain activity test and all the experimental class learning outcomes’ mean were higher than control class. Average results of feasibility study showed that 98,3% of students said that the learning was feasible (teachers performance was very good). In general, teachers and students also responded very well to the applied learning. The conclusion of the research results showed that learning with JAS approach which resources of Biology Laboratory and Educational Garden of Unnes had a significant effect to the activities and results in Biodiversity concept to X graders of MA Al Asror Gunungpati.

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar siswa yang rendah dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 11 Semarang menyebabkan hasil belajar yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengajaran Quantum terhadap hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuantitatif. Desain Quasi eksperimen post-test only control group design dan one shot case study digunakan untuk menganalisis keefektifan hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan dan sikap kelas eksperimen menggunakan pengajaran Quantum dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode diskusi observasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 4 (kelas eksperimen 1), X MIPA 5 (kelas kontrol), dan X MIPA 6 (eksperimen 2). Analisis uji komparatif hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan independent sample test kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol diperoleh thitung (3,97) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 2,67 diperoleh nilai thitung (8,97) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Analisis hasil belajar aspek sikap menggunakan one sample test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar melalui pengajaran Quantum kelas eksperimen dengan KKM yang ditetapkan Permendikbud yaitu ≥ 3 diperoleh nilai thitung (15,79) > ttabel 5% (2,00). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pengajaran Quantum efektif terhadap hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan dan sikap materi pencemaran lingkungan.  The low of student activities and lack of teaching media were used in learning environmental pollution for the class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 11 Semarang caused learning outcomes weren’t optimal. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Quantum teaching toward student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution. This research method is quantitative experiments. Quasi-experimental design of a post-test only control group design and one-shot case study was used to analyze the effectiveness of student learning outcomes of knowledge and attitude aspects of classroom teaching experiment using Quantum with the control class using discussion method of observation. The sample used is class X MIPA 4 (experimental class 1), X MIPA 5 (control class), and X MIPA 6 (experimental class 2). The analysis of the comparative test outcomes with aspects of knowledge using independent sample test to experimental class with control class obtained tcount (3.97) > ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of learning outcomes aspects of knowledge using one sample test showed that there was an average difference in student learning outcomes through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 2.67 was obtained tcount (8.97) > ttable 5% (2.00). The analysis of the student learning outcomes used one aspect attitude until the test showed that there are differences in average outcomes of learning through Quantum teaching experimental class with KKM established by Permendikbud ie ≥ 3 obtained tcount (15.79) > ttable 5% (2.00). The result of study shows that the application of Quantum teaching is effective for student learning outcomes in knowledge and attitude aspects of environmental pollution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesintasan undur-undur pada media aklimatisasi. Penelitian dilakukan di rumah teduh Jalan Tumpang I/82 Semarang dan Laboratorium Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNNES. Variabel utamanya kesintasan undur-undur, berat dan panjang undur-undur, sedangkan variabel pendukungnya jenis media aklimatisasi, meliputi tanah kering, abu dan serbuk batu bata. Tahap awal, disiapkan media hidup undur-undur, media kemudian dimasukkan kedalam kotak aklimatisasi, diberi cangkup dan dibiarkan selama 10 hari. Undur-undur ditimbang dan diukur panjang tubuhnya kemudian dimasukkan kedalam kotak aklimatisasi, masing-masing kotak diisi15 undur-undur. Kesintasan hidup undur-undur pada masing-masing media diamati selama 45 hari, data diambil seminggu sekali. Undur-undur diberi makan 2 - 3 ekor semut sehari 3 kali. Setelah 45 hari undur-undur ditimbang dan diukur panjang tubuhnya kembali. Data kesintasan hidup undur-undur dianalisis menggunakan Anava Dua jalur. Berat dan panjang undur-undur dianalisis menggunakan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan undur-undur dapat sintas pada media aklimatisasi, yaitu tanah kering dan abu. Undur-undur mengalami pertambahan berat dan panjang sesudah penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa undur-undurdapat sintas pada media aklimatisasi yaitu tanah kering dan abu. Ukuran berat dan panjang undur-undur mengalami pertambahan sesudah penelitian.This research was aimed to know the survival of gratus at the acclimatization media. The research was held in the shady house at Jalan Tumpang I/82 Semarang and in the Laboratory of Biology Departement of FMIPA UNNES. The main variables were the survival of gratus, the weight and length of gratus, whereas the supporting variable was the acclimatization media, that is the dry sandy soil, the dust and the powder of bricks. Initially, the acclimatization media was prepared for the gratus, then the media was distributed into the boxes of acclimatization media and the box was covered and left unharmed for about 10 days. The gratus were weighed and the body length was measured, and the animals were placed into the boxes of acclimatization media, each box was filled with 15 gratus animals. The survival of gratus in each media was observed for 45 days, the data was taken once a week. The gratus were fed with 2-3 ants at 3 times a day. After 45 days the gratus were weighed and the body length were measured. The data of the gratus survival was analyzed using Tow-Way Anova. The weigh and the body length were analyzed using t-test. It was concluded that gratus can survive in the dry sandy soil and in the dust. The weight and body length were increased during the research
