Abstract

This study succeeded in proving that altruism is an inseparable element in the Islamic consumption system because it is able to lead a consumer to the best level of godliness. Just by assuming that , the formation of satisfaction in Islamic altruism cannot be determined by one stage. It is plotted into three stages, namely: (1) compassion utility originating from the spirit of social emotion, enabling it to create as an emblem of emotional satisfaction; (2) rationalizing social-spiritual gain originating from a motivation to reach a religiously promised reward for a sacrifice made by a consumer for the poor and needy, resulting in as an indicator of a consumer’s gains; and (3) God and human relationship originating from the spirit of a consumer to always be close to God absent of reward, symbolized by . What is unique is the three forms of altruism have a one direction altruism pattern unknown to among economists and altruists. This finding is especially contributes to the Islamic Philanthropic Institution in identifying a class of altruism in Muslims. Evidently, their altruism pattern is closely attached to their consumption system.

Abstract

Abstrak: An increase in the number of well-behaved savings customers is a very important strategy choice for the Sharia Microfinance Institution (LKMS) today. In the context of the relationship between the use of mobile services and the improvement of LKMS savings customer behavior, the literature does not pay attention. This study examines the behavior of LKMS savings customers (SAV) with three determinants, namely the use of mobile services (MOB), trust (TRU), and satisfaction (SAT). By utilizing the results of a survey of 200 samples of LKMS customers in Bandung and West Bandung districts, this study conducted an SEM-PLS analysis. Estimation results prove that MOB has a positive effect on SAV both directly and with TRU and SAT mediation. This study highlights the importance of MOB optimization for the progress of the SAV level in LKMS. Abstract

This study is intended to give the solution of minimum rate of funding in the area of small and middle enterprise. So far, Islamic banking posses the system of musyaraqah mutanaqishah (MMQ) as the new way in enlarging the scope of business of profit sharing system. Unfortunately, in the real process, this system was intent on optimalizing the property business. This study tries creating the new direction of MMQ, namely to organize the potentiality of MMQ in lifting up its funding system for the existance as well as the sustainability of small and middle enterprise. By applied analysis approach, this study was successful in configurating the practice system of MMQ funding in the region of small and middle enterprise. To make easy the process of application, baitul mal wa tamwil is laid as the experiment place.

Abstract

AbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi peran kinerja magang perguruan tinggi dalam mempengaruhi kepuasan industri keuangan syariah. Dengan memanfaatkan hasil wawancara terhadap 30 orang praktisi keuangan syariah, studi ini melakukan analisis kualitatif. Studi ini menemukan bahwa faktor ekspektasi dan diskonfirmasi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan industri keuangan syariah. Secara akademik, studi ini mengimplikasikan perluasan pengetahuan tentang rekayasa kepuasan industri. Secara praktis, studi ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya link and match antara industri dan perguruan tinggi dalam tiga hal (keseragaman penilaian program magang, penciptaan MOU, dan kerjasama pengembangan kurikulum). Kata Kunci: Kinerja Magang Perguruan Tinggi, Teori Ekspektasi-Diskonfirmasi, Kepuasan, Industri Keuangan Syariah AbstractThis study aims to estimate the role of university internship performance in influencing satisfaction of the Islamic financial industry. By utilizing the results of interviews with 30 practitioners of Islamic finance, this study conducted a qualitative analysis. This study found that the factors of expectation and disconfirmation play an important role in increasing satisfaction of the Islamic financial industry. Academically, this study broadens engineering knowledge of industrial satisfaction towards internship program. Practically, this study implies the importance of links and matches between industry and universities in three ways (uniformity of internship performance scoring, MOU creation, and curriculum development cooperation). Keywords: University Internship Performance, Expectation-Confirmation Theory, Satisfaction, Islamic Finance Industry

Abstract

Peningkatan parstisipasi masyarakat terhadap tabungan sangat penting untuk menciptakan daya saing dan ketahanan koperasi syariah masa kini. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi hubungan pengetahuan produk dan niat pengguna tabungan koperasi syariah baik secara langsung maupun melalui peran mediasi kepercayaan, persepsi keuntungan, dan persepsi kualitas. Melalui survey terhadap 79 responden koperasi syariah Madrasah Aliyah Al-Inayah Kota Bandung, riset ini melakukan analisis dengan SEM-PLS. Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan pengetahuan produk dan minat menabung berhubungan positif dan signifikan baik secara langsung maupun maupun melalui mediasi kepercayaan, persepsi keuntungan, dan persepsi kualitas. Secara akademik, studi ini mengimplikasikan perluasan pengetahuan tentang niat pengguna tabungan lembaga keuangan syariah. Secara praktis, riset ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya industri koperasi syariah meningkatkan literasi, keuntungan finansial dan non-finansial, dan kualitas layanan.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi aplikasi bagi hasil dalam pengelolaan tabungan syariah sangat penting untuk peningkatan kualitas kerja dan loyalitas nasabah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi niat adopsi pengelola tabungan bagi hasil koperasi syariah melalui peran persepsi manfaat dan persepsi kegunaan. Melalui dukungan 30 responden, studi ini menganalisis data survey dengan SEM-PLS. Hasil prediksi memperlihatkan bahwa persepsi manfaat sangat signifikan membangkitkan niat adopsi aplikasi bagi hasil tabungan mudharabah. Selain itu, persepsi kegunaan juga mampu mempengaruhi niat adopsi melalui peran persepsi manfaat. Studi ini menghasilkan implikasi teori dan manajerial yang sangat bermanfaat bagi pelaku akademik dan industri.

Abstract

Great attention to financial performance is the key to building solid competitiveness in the Islamic banking industry. By exploring the role of Islamic banks in social programs, this study estimated the relationship between CSR (corporate social responsibility) and financial performance, either directly or through the mediating role of loyalty. These paths trace the ability of CSR to create customer support for Islamic banks which then gives birth to positive financial performance. This study surveyed 505 Islamic bank customers. To test the direct and indirect relationships between CSR and the financial performance of Islamic banks, this study employed the PLS (partial least square) method. Empirical estimation results showed that CSR convincingly affects financial performance directly and positively. Meanwhile, indirectly, it can connect positively with financial performance through the mediating role of customer loyalty. This study contributes to the development of stakeholder theory. For the industry, this study contributes to determining the direction of CSR development, which has implications for increasing the organization's public support and financial performance.

Abstract

Purpose - Profitability is very essential for the Islamic banking industry to maintain a sustainable business at a global level. However, until now Islamic banking has not been able to generate profitability competitiveness against conventional banking. Meanwhile, the increased awareness of the importance of business social responsibility has led to increased attention towards social responsibility based on Islamic values (known as Islamic Social Responsibility) since it is believed to be able to boost the profitability of Islamic banking. This study aims to reveal the effect of firm size, leverage, and board size on Islamic social responsibility and the role of Islamic social responsibility in mediating the influence of these three factors on the profitability of Islamic bankingMethodology - Observing 14 Islamic banks in Indonesia, this study used SEM-PLS for data analysis. Findings - The results show that board size has a positive effect on Islamic social responsibility while Islamic social responsibility itself has a positive effect on the profitability of Islamic banking. In addition, Islamic social responsibility can play a good role in linking firm size, board size, and leverage with the profitability of Islamic banking. Abstract

Currently, the Madrasah Aliyah Al-Inayah Bandung Cooperative requires the implementation of mudharabah profit-sharing savings based on electronic applications to improve the quality of savings services. The fundamental problem of this cooperative is the absence of knowledgeable human resources in the field of saving for the results of mudharabah and the low number of supporting facilities for these savings operations. These competencies and facilities can increase the absorption of funds from the community. In addition, the number of people in the cooperative environment is large and has the potential to grow these savings in the future. For this reason, the community service program (PkM) for mudharabah savings management training needs to be present to answer this issue. This program involved 15 participants who came from the management of the MA Al-Inayah Cooperative. The training materials consist of; (1) knowledge of mudharabah profit-sharing procedures, (2) digital mudharabah profit-sharing management applications, and (3) applications that support the operating system for sharia cooperative profit-sharing mudharabah savings results. This training program has succeeded in increasing the capability of the management of the MA Al-Inayah Cooperative in operating an electronic application for mudharabah profit-sharing savings so that it has an effect on the suitability of the cooperative with the latest technological developments and improving the quality of services that are fast, accurate, and productive. On that basis, PkM like this deserves to be developed in other sharia cooperatives so that they are adaptive to technology and competitive. Abstrak Pelaksanaan tabungan bagi hasil mudharabah berbasis aplikasi elektronik sangat dibutuhkan Koperasi Madrasah Aliyah Al-Inayah Bandung untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan tabungan. Permasalahan mendasar koperasi ini adalah ketiadaan SDM yang berpengetahuan di bidang tabungan bagi hasil mudharabah dan rendahnya fasilitas penunjang operasional tabungan tersebut. Padahal, kompetensi dan fasilitas ini sangat penting untuk peningkatan penyerapan dana yang berasal dari masyarakat. Di samping itu, jumlah masyarakat di lingkungan koperasi tersebut banyak dan berpotensi menumbuhkembangkan tabungan ini di masa depan. Untuk itulah, pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) yang menyelenggarakan pelatihan manajemen tabungan bagi hasil mudharabah sangat penting menjawab persoalan ini. Dengan melibatkan 15 pengurus Koperasi MA Al-Inayah sebagai peserta, PkM ini melatih tiga hal penting, yaitu; (1) pengetahuan prosedur bagi hasil mudharabah, (2) kemampuan mengaplikasikan manajemen tabungan bagi hasil mudharabah secara digital, dan (3) penyediaan aplikasi yang menunjang sistem operasional bagi hasil tabungan mudharabah level koperasi syariah. Program pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapabilitas pengurus Koperasi MA Al-Inayah dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi elektronik tabungan bagi hasil mudharabah sehingga berefek terhadap kesesuaian koperasi tersebut dengan perkembangan teknologi mutakhir dan peningkatan kualitas layanan yang cepat, akurat, dan produktif. Atas dasar itulah, PkM seperti ini layak dikembangkan di koperasi-koperasi syariah lainnya agar mereka adaptatif terhadap teknologi dan kompetitif.
