Abstract

Ekspor minyak atsiri menunjukkan kinerja yang menggembirakan. Data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan, nilai ekspor minyak atsiri pada Januari-Maret 2011 sebesar US$ 135.362.814. Nilai ini melonjak 32,26% dibandingkan nilai ekspor tiga bulan pertama tahun lalu yang hanya mencapai US$ 102.348.956. Dengan terbukanya pasar global masih terbuka kesempatan didalam mengembangkan produksi minyak atsiri di Indonesia. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kecenderungan dan permintaan pasar dunia untuk minyak atsiri dan penetapan harga serta kualitasnya[1]. Rancang bangun alat destilasi uap ini diharapkan mampu memberikan peningkatan kauntitas dan kuliats darimninyak atsiri yang dihasilkan dan dapat digunakan dengan skala industri rumah tangga. Hasil pengujian alat tersebut mengahsilkan suhu stabil pada waktu 33 menit, diujikan pada sampel kulit kayu manis menghasilkan rendemen 0,56 % pada simplisia dengan serbuk halus dan 0,11% pada simplisia dengan gilingan kasar.

Abstract

The development of science and technology covers all fields and has a huge impact on society. Technology demands will bring people to think of creating something new. One of the human creations that is an important part of human life is machines, these machines have many models, shapes and benefits, one of which is a motor vehicle tire removal and installation machine, in general the motorized tire removal and installation machines are widely used in small and medium enterprises, the main drivers are usually using air pressure or pneumatics. The objective to be achieved in this research is to realize the design of a motorcycle tire release tool with the AutoCAD 2012 software. By designing a drawing design to release a motorcycle tire, and a tool support frame. The Planning Stage by determining the title and subject matter and software needed and then making the plot, the implementation phase begins to determine the frame design, then designs the framework and documents the activities carried out during the research. Checking the validity of the data Checking the validity of the data is done by displaying the results of the design of motorcycle tire release machines in accordance with the research plan. Analysis of research data is by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data. Preparation of this stage report all documentation collected and compiled into a research report. The design results are chuck, bottom frame, release hook arm, release hook, release device design with installed wheels, conclusions Concave wheel rim clamp has three sides that serve to clamp to all sides of the rim, each clamping clamp has a stretch setting on each side.

Abstract

The development of technology increased rapidly. As a result of the rapid development, there will be a wide variety of technology design, especially in the field of automotive engines. Therefore it needs research and analyzes of the shim thickness variation in the injection pressure, carburetion and carburation trail that produced. Motor vehicle Emission exhaust gas contains harmful pollutant to human and the environment, the pollutant which is produced such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides , lead, sulfur and other particulates, for that we need the effort to reduce pollution caused by exhausted emissions through optimal combustion in chamber. This study aims to determine the thickness of the shim to pressure, device for spraying diesel on an injector. It influences motor burning process and trace generated fog and to determine the shim thickness used for nozzle Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T. In this paper the authors collected data using methods of literature, interview, observation and experiment.  The type of vehicle in this study is Isuzu Panther C223 Turbo Diesel by using Nozzle Type One Hole and it has nozzle serial number Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T. The result showed that the opening pressure for standart nozzles is Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T for 5 times experiment for the shim thickness of 0.05 mm to produce an injection pressure of 5 bar, shim thickness of 0.10 mm to produce an injection pressure of 10 bar, shim thickness of 0.15 mm to produce an injection pressure of 15 bar, shim thickness 0, 20 mm to produce an injection pressure of 20 bar, shim thickness of 0.25 mm to produce an injection pressure of 25 bar, the shim thickness selected from 0.05 mm to 0.25 mm with carburetion pressure of 25 bar. The thicker the shim setter given the opening pressure nozzles and pressure also getting bigger. The thicker the shim setter, the bigger the force that is received by a spring on the nozzle.

Abstract

Sistem penggerak utama motor starter berfungsi untuk mempermudah proses menghidupkan engine, dimana sistem motor starter merupakan suatu sistem kelistrikan yang bekerja dengan tenaga elektromagnetik terhadap motor starter arus searah dengan mekanisme merubah energi listrik yang berasal dari baterai dengan sumber arusnya menjadi energi mekanik berupa putaran. Energi mekanik inilah yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk melakukan gerakan awal saat engine akan dihidupkan dengan cara memutar flywheel melalui perkaitan gigi antara roda gigi pinion pada starting motor dengan roda gigi cincin pada flywheel. Alat peraga adalah perantara atau pengantar pesan dari pengirim ke penerima pesan. Secara umum alat peraga pembelajaran dalam pendidikan disebut media, yaitu berbagai jenis komponen dalam lingkungan siswa yang dapat merangsangnya untuk berpikir, perancangan merupakan proses awal dari kegiatan pembuatan produk. Perancangan bertujuan untuk memberikan keputusan-keputusan yang akan mempengaruhi langkah dalam proses pembuatan produk peraga, membuat peraga motor starter dengan memberi tanda alur garis pada bagian luar komponen motor starter dipresentasikan pada gambar pembuatan trainer motor starter cutting bisa digunakan sebagai alat peraga pada mata kuliah perawatan mesin yang mampu memberikan penjelasan tentang nama-nama komponen pada motor stater.

Abstract

The development of butanol as a gasoline additive is encouraged by the government to reduce pollution and the fuel crisis. This is because butanol is a green fuel that is environmentally friendly and can be produced. In addition, the octane number and high oxygen concentration in butanol optimize engine performance and improve exhaust emissions. This research correlates engine power and Brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) with the BTE of gasoline-butanol-fueled engines and identifies the content of Nox compounds in exhaust gases through engine Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT). The percentage of butanol in gasoline is 5% -15%. Engine speed from 1000-3000 rpm. Dynotest is used to measure BTE while the thermocouple is used to measure exhaust gas temperature. This research proves that the addition of butanol increases energy absorption which is converted into power with effective fuel consumption which means BTE increases. The highest BTE increase was 21.7% in the B15 blend. EGT decreased by 8.6% in the B16 mixture compared to B0. This identifies that the concentration of Nox in the exhaust gas also decreases.
