Abstract

Abstract: This research isa classaction research to make learningprocess be better and to improve mathematic learning result by applying Cooperative LearningTalking Stick Model. The subjects werestudents of class XTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaruinthe second semester ofthe academic year2013/2014, whichamounted to22people and all aremenwithheterogeneouscapabilities. This studyconsistedoftwocycles, eachcycleconsistingoffourphases, namelyplanning, action ,observationandreflection. Eachend of the cyclecarried outdaily tests. Data collected throughobservationandtestsin the form ofdaily tests. Data was analyzed usingdescriptivestatisticalanalysis. Resultsof researchonthe observationsheetshows theactivityof teachers and studentshave beenperforming wellafterdoingthe action. Based on theobservations of researchersduringthe learningprocessinclassXTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaru, seenmost studentsexcitedandparticipatorylearning processcarried out, such asin response toapperception, presented the results offocus group discussions, responding to the presentation, the implementation of theTalking Stick, deliveringconclusion, doLKSandanswer thegroup of theiractivitieswith friends. Students aretrying to completethe activitiesinLKSwell. Actionis successfulifthe number of studentswhoachievea score ofKKMonthe basis ofincreasingthedaily testsI andIIdaily tests. The percentage ofstudentswhoachievea score ofKKMonbasic, daily testI (first cycle), daily testII(second cycle) respectivelyare13.6%, 45.5%, and63.6%. Penilitianresultsshowed thatthe application ofcooperative learning modelTalking Stickcanimprovethe learningprocessandimprove learning outcomesmathclass XTKR1SMKTelkomPekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process andto increase mathematics achievementwith appliedthe learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VIII.2SMPN 4Pekanbaru in the secondsemester academic years 2014/2015, which amounted to34students, consist of 13 boys and 21 girls. The research consisit of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.At the end of every cycle the quiz will be implemented. Data collectionis done by observation and tests in the form of quiz. The result of research shows that implementation of learning process on cycle I and II had happened improvement from before the action research. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Most of students were very confidenced  and actived in learning process,such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning.Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteriaincrease from basic score toquiz I and II. The number percentage of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic, quiz I and daily test II  are respectively 67,65%, 79,41% and 79,41%.Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning model of Problem Based Learningcan improve learning process and increase mathematics achievementfrom the students at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract :The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying problem based learning. The research is classroom action research that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class X MIA 7 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2014/2015, there are 28 students in the class, consist of 11 boys and 17 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. Data collecting through observation and written test. The observation was doing for the observation of learning activity of teacher and students, student attitude and student skill. While written test is to evaluate student’s knowledge. Based on the analysis of the activity of teacher and students, the application of the problem besed learning is getting better Based on the result of analysis, the amount of student that reaching minimum completeness criteria for cooperation attitude increase from 42,85% at early score to 67,85% at the first cycle and 96,42% at the second cycle. For discipline attitude increases from 57,14% at early scor to 71,42% at the first cycle and 100% at the second cycle. For honesty attitude increase from 53,37% at early score to 71,42% at the first cycle and 100% at the second cycle. For tolerance attitude increase from 46,42% at early score to 71,42% at the first cycle and 96,42% at the second cycle. The amount of student that reaching minimum completeness criteria for skill interest increase from 50% at early score to 92,84% at the first cycle and 100% at the second cycle. The amount of student that reaching minimum completeness criteria for knowledge interest increase from 7,14% at early score to 92,84% at the first cycle and 100% at the second cycle. The result of research conclude that problem based learning can improve the learning process and improve mathematics achievement of X MIA 7 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2014/2015.Keywords : Mathematics learning outcome, Problem Based Learning, Class action research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and to increase the mathematic learning evaluation by implying cooperative learning of Talking Stick. The subjects of this research are student in grade VIIID of SMP Islam Terpadu Bangkinang at the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Total number of participant are 23 whose academic achievement are heterogen. This research have 2 cycles, each cycle have four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle closed by daily exam. The data collected by observation and examination at daily based. The data analised by narative descriptive analysis and statistical descriptive analysis. The implementation succes if the improvement of the learning process and the number of students reach KKM increase at daily examination I and daily examination II. The research result from the observation form shows that teacher and student activity are better after the treatment implemented. More than half students actively participated in the learning process, as discuss, presented LKS, responded to presenter group, and gave the learning conclusion. The students also tried to solve the quiz from teacher in a great manner. The number of students whose achieved basic score of KKM,; daily examination I (first cycle), and daily examination II (second cycle) are 21.74%, 39.13% and 60.87%. This research shows that cooperative learning of Talking Stick can improve learning process and increase mathematic learning evaluation for VIIID of SMP Islam Terpadu Bangkinang.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Quick on The Draw Activity in Cooperative Learning of STAD. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class X MC in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 28 students, consist of 28 boys. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Worksheet and Questions Card. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 13 person (46,4%), 14 person (50%) and 21 person (75%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Quick on the Draw Aktivity in Cooperative Learning of STAD can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class X MC (Motor Cycle) SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016 at Basic Competencies 6.2 Identify the properties of a rectangle, square, trapezoid, parallelogram, rhombus and kite and Basic Competencies 5.1make a chart completion system set linear inequality, 5.2 Determines the mathematical model of word problems, 5.3 determines the optimum value of a system of linear inequalities, 5.4 apply accurate line .Key Words: Cooperative Learning of STAD, Quick on the Draw Aktivity, Learning Process, student’s mathematics learning outcomes, Classroom Action Research.2

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write Strategy in Cooperative Learning. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VII4 SMPN 3Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 38 students, consist of 21 boys and 17 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 13 person (34,2%), 16 person (42,1%) and 28 person (73,68%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Think-Talk-Write Strategy in Cooperative Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VII4 SMPN 3Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016 at Basic Competencies 6.2 Identify the properties of a rectangle, square, trapezoid, parallelogram, rhombus and kite and Basic Competencies 6.3 Calculate the circumference and area woke triangles and squares as well as use them in problem solving.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Think-Talk-Write Strategy, Learning Process, student’s mathematics learning outcomes, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematic achievement through the implementation Cooperative Learning Model tipe TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray). The research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VIIB SMP N 10 Tapung in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 26 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet.The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematic achievement have improved after applying Cooperative Learning Model type Two Stay Two Stray. Cooperative Learning Model type Two Stay Two Stray can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving math learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning  Model with Structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach. The research subjects are 40 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIII.9 class of State Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the number of students passing Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) indicates the increase after the implementation. The research shows that teachers and students’ activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively and responsible in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score,  first cycle, and second cycle were respectively 40%, 45%, and 67,5%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increse. Finally, the research also shows that  cooperative learning  model with structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT)  approach can improve math learning process and learning outcomes of VIII.9 class students at State Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru. Key Words:    Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning  Model with Structural  Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Approach, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on ability of understanding mathematical. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical students in class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang by the implementation of the strategy Think-Talk-Write (TTW). This research is a class action research consist of two cycles. The subject of this research were the students of class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang that consist of 19 boys and 11 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheet, students mathematical understanding of first ability tests  and students mathematical understanding of ability tests. The results of this research showed the activity of teacher and students performing well according to plan. Most students look to actively participate in the learning process. Based on data analysis ability of understanding mathematical students in classical class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang, obtained an average value ability of understanding mathematical students in the classical style on the first cycle is higher than the average value on first tests ability of understanding mathematical students and the average value ability of understanding mathematical students classically on the second cycle is higher than the average value in first cycle. Average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical students has increased from the first tests to the first cycle of 13.89. The average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle at 5.46. It shows ability of understanding mathematical students with implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy is increased. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy can improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical of class VII4 of SMP Negeri 3 Tambang in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.
