Abstract

Roads was built on swamp areas should be consider the condition of the base soil, since the characteristics of the soil in swamp areas have always inundated and have a low soil carrying capacity (Subagyo, 2006). One of effort that could be done to improve the existing soil condition was used fly ash as a material for soil stabilization (Indera et al, 2016; Mina et al, 2016). This study was conducted to analyze the enhancement of CBR value on various soil types in swamp area by the addition of fly ash. Testing on the values of index properties, compaction, and CBR values was done in laboratory base on ASTM and AASHTO standars. The test results show that the type of soil at the location of the sampling is silty or clay gravel and sand, clay soil, and silty soil. The reduction of optimum water content after the addition of fly ash is the highest decrease of 20.92%. While the highest increase of dry content weight after the addition of fly ash was 0.904 gr / cm3. An enhancement in the value of CBR by the addition of 20% fly ash in the study area, however the increase magnitude depends on the existing soil types, ie 7.99% in the silty or clay gravel and sand, 6 - 8% in the clay soil and 0,22 - 5% on silty soil. This indicates that the addition of fly ash was the optimum used on the type of clay soil.

Abstract

Some road construction projects use petrasoil additive to increase soil stabilization, one of then is the Improvement of Tabarfane-Hokmar (Chemical Petrasoil) Road Project in Aru Selatan Timur District, Aru Islands. To obtain the influence of petrasoil aditive material as soil stabilization in swamp areas, a research is needed. petrasoil additives that powder shape are dissolved in water with 3 variations, namely 500 liters, 750 liters, and 1000 liters of water. Tests which carried out include compaction testing, index properties, and CBR. The results showed that the addition of petrasoil mixture with water without being combined with other added ingredients could lead to increasingly unstable soil conditions where the soil water content increased and the dry weight of the soil diminished, meaning that soil density decreases, and the CBR value of soil decreases.

Abstract

Most of the construction uses concrete as the main building material because concrete has many advantages compared to other materials. Concrete has a high enough weight, various attempts were made to reduce the weight of the concrete for example using lightweight aggregates or concrete made without sand or concrete made hollow Innovations in the development of precast lightweight concrete are urgently needed at this time to support the development of development that is being carried out by the government. From the studies that have been carried out on lightweight concrete and fiber concrete, this research will develop the results of previous studies, namely by combining lightweight concrete and fiber concrete to obtain precast lightweight concrete. This research was conducted to find out how much influence the use of pumice and and fiber on compressive strength and flexural strength of precast lightweight concrete. Variations in the addition of a mixture of pumice with aggregate are divided into 4 comparisons, namely 0: 100, 20: 80, 40: 60, 60: 40, where each mixture is added 0.1% fiber from the volume of concrete, then printed in cube and beam molds. Compressive tests were carried out on the cube and flexural tests were carried out on beams. From the test results was obtained that the addition of pumice to the concrete mixture can cause a decrease in compressive strength of the concrete from 202 kg/cm2 to 129 kg/cm2 whereas with the addition of fiber there is an increase in flexural strength is 24.48 kg/cm2. The specific gravity obtained is 1.664 gr/cm3 so this concrete can be classified into lightweight concrete.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation, work environment on the performance of employees of Indo Suhar Jaya Company. This research method is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection methods used are primary data, and secondary data. Sampling techniques in this study used saturated sampling techniques much as 40 respondents. Data analysis using SPSS version 25. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, coefficient of determination test, hypothesis test. Partial testing for motivation variable (X1) obtained ttest > ttable (3.592 > 2.024), with a significance value (0.001 < 0.5), which means that motivation (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Partial testing of hypotheses work environment (X2) obtained ttest > ttable (6.537 > 2.024), a significant value (0.000 < 0.5), which means that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneously hypothesis testing for the Ftest > Ftable (20.843 > 3.245), the value of significance (0.000 < 0.5). These mean that motivation (X1), work environment (X2) are simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Determination obtained by R Square of 0.530 means that the motivation variable (X1), work environment (X2) have an influence contribution of 53.0% on employee performance (Y). While the remaining 47.0% were influenced by other factors which is not studied on this research.

Abstract

Ethical and moral education is one of the fundamental elements in forming individuals with good character and virtuous values in social life. In the Islamic context, integrating religious values is an important basis in building a generation with noble character. One relevant approach to realizing this goal is through the application of the concept of tarbawi interpretation. Tarbawi interpretation is a method of interpretation of the Qur'an that focuses on educational aspects, both individually and socially, to develop noble moral and ethical values. This concept offers a practical guide to internalizing the teachings of the Qur'an in the context of applicable ethical and moral education. This paper aims to explore the application of tarbawi interpretation as an educational approach that can strengthen the character formation of students. By integrating the teachings of the Koran which are interpreted tarbawi, educators can present learning methods that are not only theoretical, but also emphasize the application of these values in everyday life. The discussion begins with an explanation of the concept of tarbawi interpretation, its basic principles, and its relevance in education. Furthermore, this paper evaluates the extent to which the concept of tarbawi interpretation can be applied in ethical and moral education curricula at various levels of education, both formal and non-formal. The results of the study show that the application of tarbawi interpretation is able to provide a deep understanding of the importance of universal values taught in Islam, such as honesty, responsibility, justice and tolerance. With this approach, students are not only invited to understand religious teachings textually, but are also directed to practice them in various aspects of life. Apart from that, tarbawi interpretation also allows educators to design learning materials that suit the needs of the times without eliminating the essence of Islamic teachings. Thus, this paper concludes that the concept of tarbawi interpretation contributes significantly to building a holistic and sustainable ethical and moral education system. Further research is needed to develop more effective implementation methods and models so that the values of the Qur'an can be optimally integrated in every aspect of educational life.

Abstract

Transformasi tata guna lahan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap debit banjir serta keseimbangan ekosistem di DAS, karena sifat hidrologi sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola penggunaan dan penutupan lahan. Di Kota Palembang, kawasan yang paling rawan banjir mencakup Kecamatan Kemuning, Ilir Timur Satu, dan Ilir Timur Tiga yang dilintasi DAS Bendung. Berdasarkan kondisi ini, penelitian dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh dari perubahan penggunaan lahan pada debit banjir di daerah tersebut. Metode penelitian mencakup analisis perubahan tata guna lahan menggunakan indeks NDVI dari citra Landsat selama 19 tahun (2005–2024), yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan debit banjir melalui pengolahan data curah hujan 10 tahunan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan debit banjir rata-rata dari 24 m³/s pada 2005 menjadi 70 m³/s pada 2024 akibat perubahan tata guna lahan. Hasil penelitian kemudian disosialisasikan kepada Dinas Perumahan Kawasan Permukiman Provinsi Sumatera Selatan agar dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam perencanaan permukiman, khususnya di wilayah DAS Bendung. Tingginya antusiasme peserta tercermin dari interaksi dan tanya jawab yang aktif selama kegiatan sosialisasi.
