Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada jejaring sosial pemulung di TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir) Sukawanitan, Palembang. Jaringan sosial ini termasuk jaringan sosial di antara sesama pemulung, dan jejaring sosial antara pemulung dan agen (toke). Ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara mendalam, focus group discussion (FGD), observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengurangan, tampilan data dan kesimpulan. TPA Sukawinatan adalah pembuangan akhir terbesar di provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Jejaring sosial di antara sesama pemulung terbentuk melalui hubungan kekerabatan (affinity brother) dan berdasarkan kedekatan wilayah, baik karena lingkungan dan persahabatan. Jejaring sosial antara pemulung dan "toke" (kolektor), dibentuk oleh kepercayaan atau keyakinan, dan ikatan "pelindung".

Abstract

This study shows the interaction between the natural environment and human. Starting from the revelation of the rubber price implicate on the global changes in the relationship between the physical environment with the complex social (population, technological constraints, organization, culture, and social system) at the local level. It is important to see a variation of mutual dependence and modification of social-economic changes, especially traditional oil mining (illegal). Economic interests and environmental degradation threaten the fulfillment of the next generation needs.  Data collection for this study through qualitative research method with in-depth interviews as primary data and is located in the three villages (Keban 1, Macang Sakti, and Lubuk Bintialo) Musi Banyuasin District). Social inequality triggered the exploitation of natural resources widely. Local community relations with nature is very instrumental to achieve welfare. For that, need to social engineering project system that future-oriented with the collaboration of local communities, corporation, and government. But the political will to achieve sustainable development should be started by the government (state).

Abstract

This research entitled The Signifier and Signified of Sex Commodification in the Movie Kambing Jantan created by Rudi Soedjarwo. The problems in this research are signifier (form), signified (mean) and signification (interpretation) about sex commodification in this movie Kambing Jantan created by Rudi Soedjarwo. This research was desriptive qualitative research that used discourse analysis with taking ten informants that consist of five boys and five girls of University Sriwijaya’s student that has watched that film. The result of research showed that the signifier (the form of sex behaviour) in this movie Kambing Jantan was holding hand, hugging and kissing. The signified (the mean of sex behaviour) was to described the reality and to showed affection. The significations in this research were; first, the forms of sex behaviour was not suitable to show in this movie because they assumed that mostly the watchers movie was teenagers and they said that teenager will be easy to imitation the scenes of sex behaviour in the movie. Second, they said that the forms of sex behaviour was permitted to showed in this movie because the scenes of that sex behaviour were not often showed in the movie and the scene that unshowed still in normal stage that not till having sex.
