Abstract

Palm cooking oil refraction index measurement has been done in several temperature using single slit Fraunhofer diffraction method. Ratio between diffraction patterns at the air dan solution medium can be used to determine its refraction index. Using aquades as sample, was obtained refractive index 1.331 with the discrepancy 0.038%. Based on the refractive indexs measured for each temperature were obtained linear equation model: Y=-(0,00145±0,00021)X+(1,54232±0,01757)where  R = -0,97266 and R^2=0,94606. Temperature changes influence strongly to refractive index changes of palm cooking oil sample, changes both inversely. Gradient of 0.00145 indicate that refractive index of palm cooking oil sample decrease slowly, so the quality is still good.   Keywords : Palm Coocing oil, refractive index, temperature, Fraunhofer diffraction method

Abstract

ABSTRACT- The increasing demand for high-quality coffee has led to making various tests to guarantee the quality of coffee to be accepted in the market. This study aimed to know the caffeine content in Robusta Luwak coffee roasted at different temperatures. The coffee used in this study is pure and mixed with rice. This study was conducted using various roasting temperatures, namely 190⁰C and 240⁰C. The additional material combined with the coffee is rice with mass fractions of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. The absorbance value of caffeine in the sample is measured in the wavelength of the maximum absorbance of pure caffeine solution, 273 nm. The results showed that pure Robusta Luwak coffee with roasting temperatures of 190⁰C and 240⁰C had caffeine content of 1.10% and 0.94%, respectively. In mixed Robusta Luwak coffee, the highest caffeine content was at 190⁰C with a caffeine content of 0.89% in the composite material mass fraction of 10%, and the lowest caffeine content was at 240˚C with a mass fraction of 50% mixed material that had a caffeine content of 0.31%. In the serving dose, those two samples showed that the caffeine content was laid in the safe interval according to SNI and FDA standards.KEYWORDS: caffeine; robusta Luwak coffee; temperature; wavelength.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conversion of agricultural land to oil palm plantations in Sekonau Village, Sekadau Hulu District and to describe, identify and explain the factors that encourage land conversion to oil palm plantations. The research was conducted in Sekonau Village, Sekadau Hulu District, Sekadau District. The research will be carried out starting in December 2022. The tools and materials used in this research are stationery, cameras, and questionnaires as tools for gathering information or data. Data collection was carried out through interviews using a list of questions as an interview and observation guide. The shifting of the function of dryland agriculture to oil palm plantations was caused by a decrease in rice production and also a decrease in the quality of lowland agricultural land. The impact of the conversion of plantation agricultural land into community oil palm plantations in Sekonau Village on the economic activities of the community has quite a positive impact, but the community has not felt its maximum effect, this is because the oil palm planted by the community has not produced much.INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan alih fungsi lahan pertanian ladang menjadi perkebunan kelapa sawit di Desa Sekonau Kecamatan Sekadau Hulu dan menguraikan, mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mendorong terjadinya alih fungsi lahan menjadi perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sekonau, Kecamatan Sekadau Hulu, Kabupaten Sekadau. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Desember 2022. Alat dan bahan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat tulis menulis, kamera, dan daftar pertanyaan sebagai alat bantu pengumpulan informasi atau data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara menggunakan daftar pertanyaan sebagai panduan wawancara dan observasi. Alih fungsi pertanian ladang menjadi lahan tanaman kelapa sawit disebabkan oleh penurunan hasil produksi padi dan juga menurunnya kualitas lahan pertanian ladang. Dampak alih fungsi lahan pertanian ladang menjadi perkebunan kelapa sawit masyarakat di Desa Sekonau pada aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat cukup berdampak positif, namun masih belum maksimal dirasakan pengaruhnya oleh masyarakat, hal ini dikarenakan memang tanaman sawit yang masyarakat tanam belum bagitu menghasilkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menyediakan berbagai jenis perlakuan dalam dua kelompok belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta Timur. Ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig = 0,041 < 0,05 dan Fhitung = 4,391. Ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Jigsaw lebih baik digunakan daripada model pembelajaran klasik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial. (2) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta Timur. Ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig = 0,037 < 0,05 dan Fhitung = 4,560. Ini menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar yang tinggi lebih baik daripada minat belajar yang rendah dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu sosial siswa. (3) Ada pengaruh interaktif yang signifikan model pembelajaran dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial siswa SMP Negeri di Jakarta Timur.
