Abstract

THE USE OF METER PROPS TO IMPROVE THE MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF MULITIPLICATION SUBJECT IN MATHEMATICS LEARNING DISABILITY III GRADERSOF SDN KARTODIPURAN SURAKARTA IN THE SCHOOL YEAR OF 2012/2013. Skripsi, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. April. 2013. The objective of this research is to find out the us of  meter props to improve the mathematics learning achievement of multiplication subject in mathematics learning disability III graders of SDN Kartdoipuran Surakarta in thee school year of 2012/2013. This research employed with classroom action research method. The subjects of this research were 2 students with learning disability consisting of a boy and a girl. The metthods of data collection were observation technique, test and document analysis. The technique of analyzing data were descriptive comparative and critical analysis. Considering the result of research it can be concluded that the used of meter props can improve the mathematics learning achievement of multiplication subject in learning disability III graders of SDN Kartodipuran Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the availability and accessibility level of parking facility and lift for difable in Surakarta, especially in the shopping centre. The objects of this study was five shopping centres in Surakarta. The research method that used is evaluation approaches, that assess the extent of an object has been achieved in accordance with the standards of Regulation of the Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 Year 2006 on Technical Guidelines amenities and accessibility In the Building and Environment. Data were analyzed using statistical descriptions by comparing field data with the standard provisions. The results showed that there is no accessible parking lot for difable and on average, as many as 54, 2% lift is accessible and one shopping centre has reached the 73% accesibility lever for the lift. The shopping centre is the right to acquire accessibility in public spaces for difable, it needs to be upgraded and the addition other facilities.

Abstract

The concept of assessment for students with special need exists is to find and gather information on the children's obstacles and potentials. In the implementation of special education assessment, it is a need to understand the various aspects of assessing the ability of the child. The aim of this research is to analyze the use of assessment for students with special need in Surakarta city. This research uses a qualitative approach to the subject of as many as 50 teachers from 11 inclusion schools and special schools. The result of this research shows that 82% inclusive and special schools in Surakarta city do not have a proper standardization in the use of academic assessment instruments by teachers at the beginning of the learning process yet. Moreover, 55% of schools do not do an initial assessment and do only the assessment at mid and end time of the learning process. The impact of the problems, when teachers do the assessment, bring through the results of the assessment to not cover the skills that will be assessed by the teacher.
