Abstract

Abstract: This study discussed one of literary creation that is novel. Novel studied was Andrea Hirata’s novels, entitled Sang Pemimpi. In this study, the formulation of the problem is how the level of student’s ability in write a review text of novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata that are divided into the orientation, interpretation, evaluation, and summary. The study that aim to find out the level of student’s ability in write a review text used descriptive methods with statistical techniques. In this study found that the mean value of student's ability of grade VIII at SMPN 1 Sungai Apit in write review text is 78.72. This result also indicated that among the four parts of the review text, the structure that has improved is evaluation structure, while that has not been a good improvement was the summary.Key words: Novel, structure, review text.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discussed the act of speech ilocution of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur in the event of heart tour in ANTV television station. The objective of this research was to described the act of speech ilocution of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur in the event of heart tour in ANTV television station. The method used was descriptive method with qualitative approach. In this research, was used three techniques that were refer technique, record technique and note technique. The data source was presentation of lecture video of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur in the tour heart event in ANTV television station. The data of this amount to 65 speeches, from the result of tour heart event in ANTV television. This research found there were five forms of speech acts ilocution, namely assertive, directive, expressive, declarative, and comissive.Key word : the act of speech ilocution, the form of speech acts of ilocution, the form of speak strategy

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the compound word riau dialek of the Malay language Terempa. This study also discusses the type of compound words, the prosess of formation of compound words, and the meaning of compound words. This research uses descriptive method. The data in this study are utterances informant containing compound words. The purpose this research is to describe what are the types of compound words Riau dialect of the Malay language Terempa, how the process of formation of compound words dialect Terempa Riau Malay language, and what meaning of compound words Terempa Riau Malay language. The results of this research as a contribution for further research on the compound.Keywords: Compound, Dialect of Malay, Terempa.

Abstract

Abstract: This  research is titled analysis of illocutionary speech act of the humor language in Abu Nawas stories collection. Problems examined in this research is illocutionary speech acts contained in  Abu Nawas stories. This research were used a qualitative and descriptive method. Data were collected by using documentation techniques. However, the finding of this study showed five forms of illocutionary speech act, the five forms of illocutionary speech act were assertive speech act which contains of informing, proudly, sighing demanding and reporting. Directive speech act were consists of commanding, asking, requesting, ordering and threatening. Commissives speech act which involves promising, bargaining and praying. Expressive speech act that consists of observing, expressing thanks, insulting, praising, and congratulating. declarative speech act consists of surrendering, divorcing, freeing, expelling, indicating and verdicting. Key word: speech act, speech act illocution, assertive, directive, Commissive, expressive, declarative.

Abstract: The title of research is ”Majas Sindiran dalam Humor SBY-JK (Susah Bensin Ya Jalan Kaki) created by Wahyu Untara.” The purpose of the research to describe form and the meaning of irony (majas sindiran) in the humor SBY-JK (Susah Bensin Ya Jalan Kaki) created by Wahyu Untara. The type of the research that used are qualitative research with used descriptive method. The data that used in the research is the shape of irony (majas sindiran) in the book of humor SBY-JK (Susah Bensin Ya Jalan Kaki) created by Wahyu Untara. The result of the research that writer found of in this research there are five form of irony (majas sindiran) that found of iroby (majas sindiran) ij the book of humor SBY-JK (Susah Bensin Ya Jalan Kaki) created by Wahyu Untara are majas sarkasme, irony, sinisme, innuendo, and antiphrasis. Among the form of majas, dominant the form that found is majas sindiran (in form irony). At the study, writer uses analysis method based on the contextual meaning to study the meaning of each the majas sindiran.Key words: majas sindiran, humor SBY-JK (Susah Bensin Ya Jalan Kaki), form of majas sindiran, the meaning of majas sindiran.

Abstract: This study discusses the students' reading comprehension class VII Islam YLPI city of Pekanbaru. This study also discusses reading and the things contained in the text itself as the key idea, the idea of descriptors, conclusions readings, and message / views of the authors. This study used a qualitative approach and methods of analysis that aims to give value to the aspects of the central idea, the idea of descriptors, conclusions readings, and message / views of the authors. Subject matter of this study is a test that uses objective tests. The results of this study are research data, analysis, and conclusions of the aspects of the central idea, the idea of descriptors, conclusions readings, and message / views of the authors.Keywords: Ability Reading Comprehension, Islamic junior high school students YLPI, descriptive discourse.

ABSTRACT:  This research discusses Implikatur in the novel fire tauhid the work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy and discusses forms, meanings and violation of the principle of cooperation on the novel of fire tauhid the work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and approach which aims to describe the implikatur what are used in the novel the fire tauhid the work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Research results in the form of implikatur, meaning and classification of violations of the principle of cooperation that is found in the novel the fire tauhid the work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The results of this research as well as a form of documentation of the existing Implikatur in the novel fire tauhid the work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Abstract: This study discusses the formation of derivational affixes, derivational types of affixes forming and forming derivational affixes meaning that there is language Minangkabau dialect Kamang Magek Agam District. This study aimed to describe the formation of derivational affixes and change the meaning of words after the derivational language Minangkabau dialect Kamang Magek Agam District. Research theoretically and practically useful. This research is qualitative research and descriptive method. Techniques used in data collection techniques in this research that record, noting technique, fishing techniques, storytelling, inventasirasi data, classification data, and summarize data. The data have been found and analyzed in several stages, ie transcribing data, rewriting the data obtained, classifying data, analyzing data, and writing the results of the analysis. Data found derivational affixes derived from speech and folklore available where the study was conducted. The object of this study is language. Abstract

Abstract: This is a research of moral values in the text of Si Jangkang (negara yang hilang) written by Fedli Aziz. This text contains some moral value that teach about the relation human and God, the relation between humans, and the relation of humans to themself. This research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method to describe the moral values in the text of Si Jangkang (ngara yang hilang) written by Fedli Aziz. The data are collected by applying the data colleting technique, and then, are classified based on categories of (1) Relation of human and God which involves devotion to God, simple life, and feeling of grateful to God. (2) relation between hummans which involves conformity to the parents, to theleaders, to the unity, sense of justice and righteousness, sense of planting mind and returning favor, deliberation, positive thinking, oppennes, sense of bashfulness, affectionate, and sense of forgiving and generousity. (3) Relation of human to themself which involves the virtue of oneself, sincerity and sense of willingness to sacrifice, hardworking deligence, independence and confidence, responsibility, sense of bashfulness, right and ownership, courage, honesty, thirfty and through, sense of sulking, self awareness, timewise, life simply, and visionary.Keywords: Moral value,the text Si Jangkanng

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the ability to understand the content of newspaper stories compass class XII student of SMAN 1 Minas. This research subject is class XII SMAN 1 Minas totaling 65 students. To obtain the necessary data in this research is to take four different text news theme or issue. News that shaped news news pertained opinions / facts. Any news on the tests using the formula 5W + 1H through a multiple-choice objective test with 5 options. The results of this study indicate that the ability to understand the content of newspaper articles were categorized compass with an average value of 70.9. The ability to understand the elements of why it is the lowest category with a percentage of 57.30 Due in understanding why the elements means that students should be able to tell why these events happen and categorized as low.Keywords: understanding, news content, 5w + 1h
