Abstract

Abstract: This research has a formulation problem, which is how foreign language is written based on integrity level in daily advertisement of Pekanbaru MX January 2017 edition?. Based on the formulation problem, this research aim to study how foreign language is written based on integrity level in daily advertisement of Pekanbaru MX January 2017 edition. The research method used is a qualitative method that describes the descriptive datas. The data were collected using library research method. Based on data analysis that has been done, 211 data of foreign language consisting of 3 kinds of foreign language which are 2 data of Arabic, 4 data of Mandarin and 205 data of English were found, with the division of 210 data are in first group based on level of integrity and 91 data are in the second group based on the level of integrity.Keywords: Foreign Language, Advertisement, Harian Pekanbaru MX

Abstract

Abstract: This study has two formulation problems, among others (1) what kind of deixis in the headlines of Riau Pos edition January 2017?, (2) what are the meaning of deixis in the headlines of Riau Pos edition in January 2017? Based on the problem statement this study investigates (1) To identify of deixis types in headlines Riau Pos edition in January 2017 edition (2) To identify the meaning of deixis the headlines of Riau Pos, 2017edition. The research method used is a qualitative method that was describe descriptive data. The collection of datas used are literature study technique. Based on the data analysis which has been done was found 433 deixis by dividing (a) deixis persona 223 Data with the first deixis persona 64 datas that are “saya” 19 datas, “kami” 32 datas, “kita” 13 datas, the second deixis persona data that is in words ”Anda”, third person deixis 158 datas containing “dia” 41 datas, “ia” 8 datas, “-nya” 83 datas, “beliau” 25 datas. (B) Deixis place 26 datas with the detail word “disini” 5 Datas, “disitu” 2 records, “disana” 6 datas, demonstrative this 2 datas, demonstrative that 6 datas, “datang” 5 datas (c) deixis time 65 datas indicating the time at 21 Datas that aresekarang 6 datas, “kini” 5 datas, saat ini” 10 datas, the demonstrative “ini” 10 datas, in the past 25 datas that are “kemarin” 12 datas, “lalu” 13 of datas, the futuretime 4 records that are “besok” 1 data, “nanti” 3 datas, (d) deixis discourse 111 datas mentioning “anafora” discourse 100 datas, the “katafora” discourse 11datas, and (e) social deixis 8 datas with the details of the use of euphemisms 1 record, the mention of the title 7 Datas.Keywords: Deixis, headlines, riau pos

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research aims to know the percentage of the use of coordinative conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, subordinatif conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, correlative conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, antarkalimat conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, and antarparagraf conjunction appropriate and inappropriate in the daily newspaper Media Indonesia. This research was used qualitative research methods. The object of this research that quotes a sentence in the daily newspaper Media Indonesia, which used the coordinative conjunction, subordinatif conjunction, correlative conjunction, antarkalimat conjunction, and antarparagraf conjunction. The data collection was obtained by using a technique of documentation. The result of research was percentage the use of coordinative conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, subordinatif conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, correlative conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, antarkalimat conjunction appropriate and inappropriate, and antarparagraf conjunction appropriate and inappropriate in the daily newspaper Media Indonesia. Based on the data analysis found that the use of coordinative conjunction are 84,3% appropriate and 15,7% inappropriate. The use of subordinative conjunction are 92,6% appropriate and 7,4% inappropriate. The use of correlative conjunction are 30% appropriate and 70% inappropriate. The use of antarkalimat conjunction are 66,7% appropriate and 33,3% inappropriate. The use of antarparagraf conjunction are 40% appropriate and 60% inappropriate. The total overall were 86,3% use of conjunction with right and 13,7% use of conjunction not right.Keys words: conjunction, coordinative, subordinative, correlative, Media Indonesia

Abstract: Research is called compound sentence equivalent in a Rumah Seribu Malaikat novels by Yuli Badawi and Hermawan Aksan .The research is know the writing of compound sentence equivalent in a Rumah Seribu Malaikat novels by Yuli Badawi and Hermawan Aksan in terms of replacement element predikat the subject , and the alignment of the elements in the form of the sentence . The Methods used is a method of descriptive qualitative with the approach . The result is this compound a an equivalent there are in a Rumah Seribu Malaikat novels by Yuli Badawi and Hermawan Aksan .The results is to known of writing compound sentence equivalent in a Rumah Seribu Malaikat novels by Yuli Badawi and Hermawan Aksan replacement have tended to elements the subject as well as having the alignment on every element in the form of the sentence.Keywords: novels, Compound Sentence Equivalent

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to discuss disfemism in publicstatements Tapung Hulu of the sub-district. This study aims to describe the form andfunction of Tapung District of Hulu of the speech community. In this study, the datasource in this study were persons residing in the Tapung Hulu district. The search fordata by the author is the sentence that contains disfemism in public statements TapungHulu of the sub-district. Data collection techniques in speech research disfemismTapung Hulu community using techniques of subdistrict interview and recordingtechnique by finding phrases containing disfemism in the district community of theTapung Hulu speech. This method is operationalized by collecting data relevant to theanalysis analysis penulisan.Teknik used in the analysis of data on sentences containingdisfemism analysis techniques namely descriptive. Descriptive analysis techniques areused to describe the form and function of Hulu's Tapung district of the speechcommunity. The search data comprises data 100 which consists of 55 forms of a word,expression form data 24 and 21, in the form of expression data.Keywords: Disfemism

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study describe the use of conjunctions in the Kompas newspaper. The purpose of study is to examine conjunctions used, the percentage of accuracy of conjunctions, and the meaning of conjunctions used in the Kompas newspapers. This study is use qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data source of this research is the headlines in the Kompas newspaper published on 20 October 2013 to 19 October 2013, as many as 115 news. Authors just take 57 news for the research sample. The results of this study refers to the problem and research purpose. First, based on the analysis found that the conjunctions used are coordinate, subordinate, correlative, between sentences, and between paragraphs. Second, the percentage of accuracy use of conjunctions in the Kompas newspaper amounting 88.6%. The percentage means that use of conjunctions in the Kompas newspaper have good. Third, the meaning of conjunctions which are in the headlines totaled to 18 are addition, consecutive, choice, opposition, the more, the time, comparison, cause, effect, requirement, expectations/goals, enlighten, content, manner, tool, utility, marker examples, and equate.Keys words: conjunction, coordinate, subordinate, correlative.

Abstract

Abstract: This study, entitled Meaningful Imperative Speech In a Novel Rindu By Tere Liye. This study aimed to describe the meaningful imperative speech in a novel rindu by tere liye. The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data of this study is a meaningful imperative speechboth in imperative speech, declarative speech, and interrogative speech. Data obtained using the technique read, technique note and validity of the data was acquired through triangulation technique. Than, data was analyzed by indentifying, classifying the data based on the meaning imperative speech.Based on the data analysis has been done, the authors found a significant meaningful imperatives speech of imperative speech much eight that is imperative command, messenger, requests, insistence, persuasion, crosslegged, impulsive, and prohibition. Than, declarative speech stating the meaningful imperative speech much five that is imperative messenger, impulsive, requests, cross-legged,and prohibition.And interogative speech stating the meaningful imperative speech much five that is imperative command, impulsive, requests, cross-legged,and prohibition.Key Words: imperative speech meaningful imperative, declarative speech meaningful imperative, and interogative speech meaningful imperative.

ABSTRACT: This research study about reference in television news Ianguage which in form of persona reference, guide reference (demonstrative), and comparability reference. This research use approach qualitative and descriptive method with aim to for mendeskripsikan form reference in television news Ianguage. this Research data amount to 74 steming from 14 news vidio. This research use oral data type which coming from ujaran carrier of news, reporter, guest speaker and journalist. Pursuant to its structure [of] reference him which [is] writer find to consist of three form that is persona form, comparability and demonstrative. Reference in form of persona amount to fourty nine. Reference in form of or indicator of demonstrative amount to twenty four. Reference in form of komperatif amount to one. Reference meaning of tuturan cover sentence having a meaning (of) deklaratif, introgatif, imperative, and empatik. Sentence having a meaning (of) deklaratif amount to six puluh one data, sentence having a meaning (of) interogatif amount to two, sentence having a meaning (of) imperatif amount to four, and sentence having a meaning (of) empatik amount to six. This research in form of structural so that write to analyse from facet of gramatikal division and according to category matching with formula of[is problem of writerKeyword : reference, news Ianguage, and television news.

Abstract

Abstract: Writing skills is to measure the level of skills in writing a formal letter in the form of numbers written by the secretary of the Student Association of Language Study Program and Literature Indonesia Riau University. This study aimed to describe the ability to write a formal letter to the Student Association of Educational Studies Language and Literature Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive method and qualitative types. The data source of this research were 75 letters taken from the Student Association of Educational Studies Program Language and Literature Indonesia Riau University. The samples taken are 37 letters. The results of the analysis conducted that an official letter that was made by the Student Association Language Study Program and Literature Indonesia has 10 parts, namely, letterhead, dated letters, numbers, attachment, and the case or subject, destination address, salutation, letter, greeting cover , maker name letters, signatures. Component or part of this official letter plus an indicator of language (the language of the letter). Official Letter Writing Ability Secretary of the Student Association of Language Study Program and Literature Indonesia Riau University, relatively high rate capability with the average value of 86.80%. High-ability level amounted to 15 samples are samples 1, 5, 7, 8, 14, 16, 21, 22, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 37, and the rest of the level capable of being that is numbered 22 samples. Total average value (1) letterhead is 3.00, (2) the date of the letter amounted to 2,62, (3) number, p / subject, attachments (if any) that the average value of 2.05, ( 4) addressee average value amounted to 2.94, (5) greeting is 2.35, (6) the contents of the letter (clarity) with an average value of 4.00, and (spelling) accounted average value ratanya namely 3.46, (7) greeting cover its average value amounted to 2.00, while, (8) the name of the manufacturer's letter also amounts to the average value of the same, namely 2.00, (9) the signature average value namely 2.00, and (10) the language of letters with the average value amounted to 3.94.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research explains about intertextual in Negeri 5 Menara Novel by Ahmad Fuadi with Sang Pemimpi Novel by Andrea Hirata. The research aims to comparing the intertextual relationship in themes, event and characterization. The research uses qualitative approach and descriptive method that aims at describing the intertextual relationship contained in this novels. Theresult of this study also as a from of intertextual relationship documentation which is contained in Negeri 5 Menara Novel by Ahmad Fuadi with Sang Pemimpi Novel by Andrea Hirata. The research data was obtained by using techniques ofdocumentation and lirature. Based on the data analysis, it was known that both novel has the same main theme. Event and characterization contained both novel has similiarity and difference.   Keywords: Intertextual, Theme, Event, Characterization, Negeri 5 Menara, Sang Pemimpi.
