Abstract

This research explores how companies in Indonesia address on corporate sustainability reporting issue. In details, this research also attempts to explore some questions; how companies incorporate issues of stakeholder, social, economic, environment and generic in their CSR reports, and what the relative status of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is. Secondary data was collected through an examination of companies’ annual reports, sustainability reports, and CSR reports among Indonesian companies based on Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award 2010. In order to answer the research questions, a combination of some frameworks, namely a framework to analyze and compare codes of conduct by Ans Kolk and Rob van Tulder (2001), a framework to analyze the implementation likelihood of sustainability report by Ans Kolk (2004), and GRI reporting guidelines (2006) were used to score and analyze of CSR reporting of those companies. This findings show that ten companies in ISRA 2010 report stakeholder issues and their achievements in conducting stakeholder engagement. Moreover, they take into account their stakeholders in their CSR reports. Furthermore, in terms of CSR reporting guidelines, CSR reporting standards are needed as guidelines for companies to produce CSR reporting. In some extent CSR reporting standards allow authorities to transparently and effectively measure and assess of CSR activities.  Key words: Corporate sustainability reporting, stakeholders, CSR, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Abstract

Life skills education  through the program  "Entrepreneurship" or entrepreneurship is  an  applied  education  that students  get the best experience  with  running a  real business  or  directly.   Entrepreneurial activity  is  believed to be  able to provide encouragement,  particularly  to  improve the  quality of life  of students  and generally to  improve the quality of life. This learning  inspires students to have a sense of responsibility and to  individuals who are able  to adapt  to changes  in the era of  globalization by  improving  their skills  to become  competitive  generation without having to  rely on  to  be  an employee or  karyawan.pelatihan entrepreneurship  and  preparation  business proposal   LFA  method  can improve students understanding of  entrepreneurship is  the willingness  and ability  to develop a business plan as outlined in the business plan and manage the business in the form of co-operation in business groups.  This training also motivates participants to have a strong character to be a reliable entrepreneur  to  have  skills  and emotional intelligence. For that,  should  a similar training  is often  done to  foster  entrepreneurial spirit  early on  and improve students knowledge and skills  in business LFA can provide a good mechanism  to develop  a  project  concept  into  a comprehensive  project design documents.  In addition to  foster  life skills,  this training program  also  supports 6 SMK Bandar Lampung  in delivering  and  motivate students  about the  importance of entrepreneurship.  Keywords: life skills,entrepreneurship,logical framework analysis

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a company's pledge to take part in sustainable economic development in order to raise community standards of living and create a win-win situation for the business, the local community, and society at large. CSR is known as a dharma in Indonesia. The most crucial factor for businesses operating in the natural resource sector is stated in Article 74 of the Limited Liability Company Law number 40 of 2007. PT Nabire Baru only dredged the natural wealth of two villages in the Yaur district of Nabire Regency, which led to peeling, highways and bumps, caused by large vehicles and large equipment that damaged access to the two asphalt villages left alone, while those were repaired but took a long time. In reality, oil palm companies are still thought to be lacking in providing programs that support CSR. just enough Therefore, the purpose of this study is to ascertain the application and implementation of corporate social responsibility in accordance with Article 74 of the Limited Liability Company Law No. 40 of 2007 in one of the oil palm companies, PT Nabire Baru.
