Abstract

The Graduates of Public Administration Study Program is still a gap between the competency of graduates with the actual needs of the workplace. To anticipate and overcome it, it is necessary to do a comprehensive study that involves three elements, namely LO, competencies desired by the work field, and the real conditions of the current graduates. Under ideal conditions, competencies desired by the world of work-which of course is constantly changing throughout the ages-LO must be met by Prodi and by the graduates themselves. Although LO set has been declared in accordance with KKNI, there is still no definitive analysis results and accountability that LO has been in accordance with the actual needs of the working world. Research on Graduate Employability is conducted at the Public Administration of FIA UB that focusing on the achievement of LO associated with skill ability quality of graduates and the needs of the working world.

Abstract

Lecturers are an essential element of a higher education institution. The lecturer has two functions in Indonesia, namely an educator and a researcher who has the job in developing and deploying science, technology, and art to the community through the Three Pillars of Higher Education activities: education, research, and community services. This study aims to investigate and answer the three research questions, which involve how the academic career development system for lecturers, how the academic career development patterns for lecturers, and the factors which affect the academic career in Indonesia and the United Kingdom (UK). We chose the UK since it is one of the countries with the most robust higher education system globally. This research was required to capture the gap in academic career development for lecturers in Indonesia and the UK. There are 23 journal articles and other literature included and found using systematic literature review and PRISMA protocol. These journal articles and other literature analyzed by meta-synthesis and could describe the comparative perspectives between an academic career in Indonesia and the UK. These review results can be an excellent comparison for improving higher education systems, specifically in the academic career development for Indonesian lecturers. A significant improvement will encourage universities in Indonesia to embrace the vision as a world-class university.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the effect of integrating the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) on optimizing tax compliance for Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) at the Pondok Aren Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP Pratama Pondok Aren). The main motivation of this research is to evaluate the extent to which the integration of NIK as a NPWP can increase tax compliance and tax administration efficiency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collected primary data through interviews with Taxpayers registered at Pondok Aren Pratama Tax Service Office. The research results show that the majority of Taxpayers do not understand the process and importance of integrating NIK as NPWP. However, effective outreach and increased awareness can encourage better tax compliance. This research provides an important contribution to understanding regarding the implementation of tax policies and strategies to increase tax compliance in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper examines  the effect οf the task-technο1οgy fit and Utilizatiοn οn Siakad and UB-Feeder tο the individual perfοrmance impact in UB.  The research sample is academic staff whο use Siakad as well as UB Feeder in Universitas Brawijaya with 99 respοndents using the stratified randοm sampling methοd. Data was cοllected using a questiοnnaire that had been tested fοr reliability and validity, a measuring instrument with a 5-pοint Likert scale. The research mοdel uses Technοlοgy Perfοrmance Chain (TPC) with cοnstructs: Task Characteristic, Technοlοgy Characteristics, Task- Technοlοgy Fit, Utilizatiοn and Perfοrmance Impact. Analysis using descriptive statistical analysis (SPSS) and inferential statistical analysis (SEM-PLS).  The results οf the hypοthesis in this study are 1) Task Characteristics have a pοsitive and significant effect οn Task-Technοlοgy Fit; 2) Technοlοgy Characteristics have a pοsitive and significant effect οn Task-Technοlοgy Fit; 3) Task-Technοlοgy Fit has a pοsitive and significant effect οn Utilizatiοn; 4) Task-Technοlοgy Fit has a pοsitive and significant effect οn Perfοrmance Impact; and 5) Utilizatiοn has a pοsitive and significant effect οn Perfοrmance Impact.
