Abstract

Abstract: This study determines to develop a therapy module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’ Verses 23-24 to improve the character of respect for parents. The type of this study is Research and Development (R&D) which is limited to a few stages by conducting research but not continuing with field testing. In developing a better module, this research carried out a validation test for two areas of expertise, which are material experts and interpreters. The data collection techniques in this study used study of literature and validation questionnaires. The result of this research is that the compiled module of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’ Verses 23-24 to improve the character of respect for parents divided into five guidance activities with a total reading duration of ± 45 minutes. The result of the module validation test as a whole based on the material and interpretation aspects shows that the assessment obtained an average value of 85,67% declared "Valid" to be tested as a guidance and counseling service media.Key Words: Module, Therapy of the Qur'an Surah Al-Isra’, Character, and Respecting Parents

Abstract

The promotional strategy carried out by the Principal to introduce Al-Hidayah Medan Middle School is an effort to realize the vision, mission, goals and objectives that have been set. School principals must manage promotional strategies effectively so that the school can be better known and develop, including Al-Hidayah Middle School in Medan. Based on the research results, the promotion strategy involves several stages, namely promotion planning which includes forming a promotion team, formulating a strategy, and preparing attractive promotional materials; implementation of promotions which include outreach activities, distributing brochures, installing banners with community cooperation, as well as distributing pamphlets via social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp; and the evaluation stage as the final step in promoting the school, by assessing the achievement of the objectives of the promotion that has been carried out.
