Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are 1) how are the descriptions of personal problem experienced by male and female students?, 2) how are the descriptions of emotional problem experienced by male and female students, 3) how are the descriptions of learning problem experienced by male and female student?, 4) how are the descriptions of family problem experienced by male and female student?, 5) how are the descriptions of social problem experienced by male and female student?, 6) how are the general description of the problems that experienced by male and female students, 7) how about the category of problems that experienced by the male and female students in general. The data instrument is a questioner regarding to problems that experienced by the students. The population of this research is all ofthe students in class VIII and IX in Senior High School Number 3, Rumbio Jaya, academic year 2015/2016. The sample is determined by using total sampling technique that means all of the population is the sample. The result of this study shows that the description of personal problem experienced by male and female students mostly included in “middle “ category, male 78% and female 82%, 2) the description of emotional problem experienced by the male and female students is mostly in “middle” category, male 51% and female 54%, 3) the description of learning problem experienced by the male and female students is mostly in “middle” category, male 55% and female 54%, 4) the description of family problem experienced by the male and female students is mostly in “few” category, male 88% and female 92%, 5) the description of social problem experienced by the male and female students is mostly in “few” category, male 82% and female 91%, 6) In general, the description of the problems experienced by male and female students are mostly about personal, emotional and learning, 7) the description of problems experienced by the male and female students based on the aspect of personal, emotional, learning, family and social in general is in “middle” category.Keyword : The Problem Of Student

Abstract

Abstract : Students are not only learning to get student achievement, but alsolearning to deal with or overcome the various problems.. For example the issue of thecommunication anxiety and anxiety to face the exam. Therefore, the researchers need todevelop a material about the student anxiety in the schools. This research is expected tobe used by guidance and counseling teachersto solve the student’s problems. Thismaterial is prepared using research and development (R & D) methods. The purposesare 1)Establishment of appropriate materials about student anxiety of SMA. 2) Todetermine the quality of the student anxiety materials. This material had validated bytwo supervisors, guidance and counseling teacher, and for students of SMA. Thismaterial is tested in 4 lessonhours time (4 x 45minutes). This material consists of asense of anxiety, characteristics of anxiety, factors affecting anxiety, symptoms ofanxiety, the sense of anxiety communication, the characteristics of anxietycommunication, factors that influence the anxiety of communication, how to overcomeanxiety communication. The results of the development of this material indicates thequality of the material produced is in “Very Good” category, with the acquisition score4.2 for all aspects of assessment.Keywords: Development of guidance counseling materials, student anxiety

Abstract

Abstract: Communication is a necessity for humans because it is a need to establish a relationship with one another. Therefore, humans are required to skilled in communicating. The desired communication certainly assertive communication so that both parties feel comfortable doing the communication. Furthermore, in this study uses group counseling services as an independent variable (X). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Guidance Services Group Against Assertive Communication Students SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This type of research that is in use is a real-experimental with patterns pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were students of class IX IA which has a low assertive communication numbered 20 people. Based on the results obtained by processing data of significant figures (Asymp. Sig) 0,005 with alpha (α) of 0.05, it can be concluded 0,005 <α (0.05) which means that Ha Ho accepted and rejected, so "There are differences in the level of assertive communication before and after group counseling services. "From the SPSS version 16 obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.691 / r = r2 = 0.47 the 0691 then it can be concluded that the influence of group counseling to students assertive communication is 47%.Keywords : Guidance group , assertive communication.

Abstract

Abstract :One of the efforts that individual is able to practice and identifythemselves with all the existing potential so that they can take necessary action for selfimprovement and their position in the surrounding environment is by studying thepersonality and also learn about the various types of human personality.Therefore, researcher found it necessary to develop a material about Personality Typeby Hans J. Eysenck which is expected to be used by teacher's guidance andcounselling to be teached to their students. This material was compiled using themethod of Research and Development (R&D). The purpose of this research is 1)Compile the material about Personality Type by Hans J. Eysenck in terms of clarity,systematics, images, games, videos, latest and completeness of material. 2) To findout about result quality of the material that have been produce before. This materialis validated by supervising lecturer 1& 2, teacher of guidance and counseling and38 Students SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. This material are teached to the students in 4 x45 minutes of study time. This material consist of definition of personality by Hans J.Eysenck, classification of personality types by Eysenck, difference traits, attitudes andactions, social interaction, internet usage, social network, also individual learningstyles of extrovert and introvert types. The result of this material development shows thequality of material produced is in a “Very Good” category, with acquisition of ascore is 4,4 for all aspects of research assessment.Keywords: Personality Type by Hans J. Abstract

Abstract : One of the technological facilities that serve as “flesh” of society is a social networking site. In the daily practice, such social networking services routinely accessed by hundreds of thousands or even millions of internet users from all over the world. It is Often found that many students use social media until they forget the time. This will have an effect on the way of student learning. Therefore, the researchers feel that it needs to determine the use of social media and the way of student’s learning. The aim of this research is to know the general description of social media usege among students and to know how they learn in terms of the use of social media. The population and sample in this research are 111 students who use social media. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques is using questionnaires. To analyze data using percentage technique. The results of this research is that the students in the social media access is in the low category in a range of < 2 hours. Social media that is often used by students is Facebook continued by WhatsApp, Istagram and the most frequently accessed is Facebook. Students using social media at free time, before sleep and while learning. Students who use social media are a good enough in learning. It willl be good for student,in order to maintain the use social media,to manage the time for social media and studying and be wiser in using social media and improve the way how to learn effective and efficient learning. For parents and teachers, it needs to pay more attention to the usege of social media and students learning.Keywords : Social Media, Student Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Students are at the age of 18-21 represents the age of transition from teenager to adult. There’s no such an illegal thing for this age to married. But, it is not an easy thing for student, because they need to be responsible as a student also as a husband/wife at the same time. Indeed, not so many students want to married while still studying. It’s all about a choice. Student has their own perception about marriage. The purpose of this research is to find out Students Guidance and Conseling Perceptions of Marriage Among College Students. The data collection instrument with questionnaire. The sample of this research is 137 BK UR students, period 2014-2017. The sampling method is Simple Random Sampling. The result of this study indicate that most of BK students have a good perception with marriage. Although the perception of students is good enough, but still many students choose to not married, because being married while studying cause impacts and problems. Conclusion, student perception toward marriage among student, that is 1) understanding of student to marriage, is: meaning of marriage is marriage is arranged by both family; the benefits of marriage according to the understanding of the student is married can teach themselves responsible; the cause of student marriage is matchmaking; the impact is to reduce household harmony, caused by emotions that are still unstable; the problem is the students become unfettered. 2) Student assessment of marriage, is: marriage occurs because following a friend who has been married.Key Words: marriage, perception

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon shows the much of students who play online games. Excessive students playing online games will make themselves addicted. Students who play these games online tend to have an emotional nature that affects themselves and others. One of the effects of online game addiction is declining learning achievement and anti social. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the description of online game addiction among students, 2) to know the description of the psychological condition of students who play online games. The population of this study is the students of class IX which consisting of 3 classes and the sample of this research as many as 28 students. The technique used is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. Instrument data collection using a questionnaire which is then analyzed by classifying the data and technique the percentage. The results of this study is the duration of playing time 3-4 hours in a day; where online game play at home; types of games favored by students namely Mobile Legend and Dota; students who are addicted to online games have health problems on the eyes and hands and make the motivation to learn to decline; social adjustment of students who make relationships become tenuous and ignore others. While the psychological condition of students who are addicted to online games about their feelings is happy to return home early; the angry emotion experienced by the respondent is generally irritable when a friend says rudely; sad emotions experienced by respondents generally are disappointed when the desire is not met, then the fear of emotion experienced by respondents who are anxious when going to the exam because of lack of learning.Keywords: Addiction of online game, Psychological condition

Abstract

Abstract : At the present time dating behavior a lot of bad effects for students such as not concentrating when learning, being closed and do not want to be so that the process of student self-development hampered. The purpose this is study : 1) description of student dating behavior 2) To know the description of student learning motivation in dating. The method used is descriptive with quantitative approach. Population in this research is student of class X.1-X-6 Pharmacy dating as much as 73 student, by using technique of saturated sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and using guttman scale. The results showed that; 1) The reason for the students dating for entertainment, 2) The dating disadvantage according to the respondent is full of problems, 3) while in terms of dating benefits is the development of patterns of student interaction, 4) For the dating place students do it at school and 5) Activities performed chatting, 6) The description of students' motivation in dating in terms of instrnsik existence of encouragement and needs while extrinsic students that is the existence of a safe and conducive environment. It can be concluded that student dating behavior is at a moderate level. It is expected that bk teachers should be able to control and respond quickly in preventing and overcoming student dating behavior.Keywords : Dating Behavior, Motivation Learn

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon that occurs in the field shows the much of students who play online games. Online games can make a person become addicted. Students who play online games tend to have aggressive behavior such as rude said. The purpose of this research are: 1) to know the description of the students who are addicted to online game, and 2) to know the description of aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online game. The population of this study are students of class VII consisting of 7 classes. A sample of 65 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire which is then analyzed by grouping the data and calculating the percentage. The results of this study indicate the duration of addiction time online game is for 3-4 hours a day and ignore to other activity; where online game play is generally done is at home; the types of online games favored by students are Mobile Legends (ML) and Defense of the Ancients (DotA) 2; students who are addicted to online games have health problems like eye pain; psychological conditions experienced by students easily irritated; from the aspect of student learning constantly think of online games during learning; from the social adjustment aspects students ignore others. Whereas the aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online games including physical aggression are exposed through a tendency to hit if hit by someone then it will retaliate with a harder blow; and commonly performed verbal aggression is to threaten by issuing harsh wordKeywords: Addiction of online games, Aggressive behavior

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the types and contents of guidance and counseling programs and find out implementation. The subjects of the study are BK teacher and 25% of the students receivinging the services. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data were obtained through questionnaire and documentation. The results show that counseling teachers a) applied 17 plus patterns, the planned programs are orientation services, information services, placement and distribution services, content mastery services, individual counseling services, group counseling services, group counseling services, consulting services, mediation services, instrumentation applications, data sets, case conferences, display libraries, home visits, and hand over cases. The unplanned services are advocacy services and unplanned guidance areas are family guidance and religious guidance. b) Implement the program Guidance and counseling services in vocational schools are categorized well. The most frequently implemented services are individual counseling services> 20 times and information services 10-15 times, support services activities that have never been implemented is hand over the case because based on the case book, there is no student problem that needs to be followed up by hand-transfer case. Supporting factors for counseling and counseling services are individual counseling rooms, counselor rooms, meeting rooms, administration rooms, storage rooms, data storage rooms and skateholders also participate. Inhibiting factors in group counseling and group guidance are inadequate counseling rooms. c) the results of students receiving counseling and guidance services need to be included in the class of materials, there is a change that the students feel after consulting with teachers of Guidance and counseling.
