Abstract

Storytelling is an effective way to develop cognitive (knowledge), affective (feeling), and conative (appreciation) aspects in humans. The interaction of the father and Dam characters in the novel Ayahku (Not) the Liar provides an overview of the interaction between father and son, using the storytelling method in developing positive characters in children. The researcher conducted a search on the theme of storytelling for character education in the aspects of knowledge and attitude in the novel My Father (Not) Liar? This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by using primary data sources for the novel entitled My Father (Not) Pembelian by Tere Liye, published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama, equipped with secondary data sources from documentation materials related to the theme and the novel with content analysis as an analytical technique. The results of this study The use of storytelling in character education in the knowledge aspect in Tere Liye's Father Not a Liar Novel is through 17 uses, while in the attitude aspect it is used 12 times.

Abstract

The weakening of the character of social care is shown by the increasingly widespread individualism and various other selfish and narcissistic acts. One way to teach the value of social care to the community, especially children is through animated films. Animated Film Upin and Ipin is a film that contains the value of education and is packaged as an attractive medium for children and adults. Therefore this thesis reports the results of the study with the formulation of the problem:(1) what are the values ​​of education contained in the film Upin dan Ipin Season 9 Tajuk Kedai Makan Upin dan Ipin, (2) how the values ​​of social care character education in the filmUpin dan Ipin Season 9 Tajuk kedai makan Upin dan Ipin? Result:The educational value contained in the animated film Upin and Ipin season 9 Kedai Makan Upin dan Ipin includes 4 educational values, including the value of religious education, the value of moral education, the value of social education, and the value of cultural education. The film has a very dominant social character character throughout the film, both in the form of dialogue and scenes in it.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in folklore treasures, in the form of traditional stories, proverbs, guesses, poetry, and humour. Folklore can be adapted in the process of growing student character in learning sessions or other activities. This study seeks to uncover how the use of folklore in developing the character of empathy and love for children. This research is a metacognition study. This qualitative study is oriented towards the conceptual exploration of various literary works, research on mapping the views of experts, and about the folklore and character education. This paper shows that folklore is recommended for use in the form of storytelling, role-playing, even for counselling purposes.

Abstract

Pop culture, a culture produced in a commercial ecosystem, is often interpreted as a light, contemporary, and fun culture so that it is easily accepted and enjoyed by the public, especially teenagers. Korean Pop Culture, for example, extends its influence throughout the world, not only in Indonesia. K-pop has attracted the sympathy of young people, including Muslim youth at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Ponorogo. This study examines the perception of Muslim youth at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ponorogo on Korean Pop Culture and its impact on Muslim youth at the school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method by purposively selecting research subjects, namely Muslim youth students of MAN 2 Ponorogo who love Korean pop culture. This study shows that, firstly, the Muslim youth of man 2 Ponorogo perceives Korean Pop Culture as a symbol of novelty, trending, unique, colorful, combining various elements. Secondly, the Muslim youth of MAN 2 Ponorogo realize Korean Pop Culture has a positive and negative impact, which can eliminate Korean Pop Culture products that are not relevant to their identity as millennial teenagers and Indonesian Muslims.

Abstract

Children with special needs are children with different characteristics from normal children in general. Especially deaf children are children who have impaired hearing either totally or have residual hearing. Deaf communication requires services that can support their communication difficulties. In this case SDLB Negeri Jenang Ponorogo organized a communication development program with Communication Development through the Sound and Rhythm Perception Program (BKPBI). In this study the author is intended to discuss more about; Forms of service stages, learning implementation strategies and service results of sound and rhythm perception programs in SDLB Negeri Jenang Ponorogo. This research uses a qualitative approach methodology with the type of case study research. The data in this study are words and actions, while the source of the data are the Principal and teachers at SDLB Negeri Jenang. Data collection methods are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. After conducting the analysis, the writer can conclude that the form of communication service development stages through sound and rhythm perception programs in the Jenang Negeri Extraordinary Elementary School is sound detection, sound discrimination, sound identification, sound comprehension, learning implementation strategies using review, overview, presentation, exercise, and summary, also by using the classical and individual models, while the results of the service program of perception of sound and rhythm in the State Elementary School Extraordinary, namely deaf children are able to recognize sounds, easy to respond to sounds such as background noises, the nature of sounds, creating sounds up to recognize types of musical instruments, able to identify sounds and detect the direction of sound.

Abstract

Novel Syahadat Cinta by Taufiqurrahman Al Azizy is to photograph how humans relate to nature in depth. This research seeks to reveal the relationship between humans and fellow humans and the universe in the novel Syahadat Cinta by Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy. This research is a literature study (library research) with a mimetic approach. The data of this research is the relationship between humans and the universe. The data source for this research is the novel Syahadat Cinta by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy. Data collection techniques use documentation. At the same time, the data analysis technique uses content analysis. The results of this study indicate that The novel Syahadat Cinta by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy has the content of educating human relations with fellow human beings by cultivating good manners, being devoted to both parents, loving each other, apologizing, being generous and sincere. Educating human relations with the universe in the novel Syahadat Cinta by Taufiqurrahman Al-Azizy includes maintaining beauty and cleanliness and preserving ecosystems.
