Abstract

Learning media is an important component to support the learning process that can stimulate students' attention and interest in learning. Making media in the form of supplement books can be a good choice as an additional learning resource to clarify the teaching materials that have been delivered. One of the learning media used is Digital Comics media which can increase students' learning motivation to be able to understand and observe the material provided by the teacher. According to Lamb & Johnson (2009), digital comics are simple comics presented in certain electronic media. The use of visual media such as comics can be used to facilitate understanding and strengthen memory. The material used as the subject of learning is the solar system. in this material there are objects such as the sun, the planets, the orbits of the planets. The method used is the method of research and development (Research and Development). Research and Development (R&D) is research that seeks to develop certain products according to the needs of today's society. This research is limited to the Develop step, which is up to the assessment stage by experts. The research instrument used was a validation sheet and an assessment sheet for experts. Assessment of product quality using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The solar system material physics comic is presented in the form of a flipbook-based physics comic. Broadly speaking, this comic contains an explanation of the storyline, introduction of characters, a summary of the material. The quality of physics comics based on the assessment of linguists, material experts, media experts, and science teachers is very good (SB). According to the presentation of the eligibility criteria, comics were deemed worthy as supplements and learning media. This shows that the comic media can be well received by students and can be used as a medium that supports the student learning process.

Abstract

In Online learning carried out today due to the Covid 19 Pandemic is an obstacle for students and teachers in practicum activities. Practicum activities that are usually carried out face-to-face in the laboratory become stopped and cannot be done. Therefore, a solution is needed to keep the practical activities of physics running. One of them is by using a physics practicum with crocodile physics. Raising the above issues, then our PKM-PM Team conducted community service activities in the form of Virtual Experiment Physics Training using Crocodile Physics which was carried out at Sma Negeri 3 Jakarta school. The implementation methods used are socialization, training and mentoring. The result of this training is to create a simulation of the physics practicum itself using Crocodile Physics.  This activity gets a positive response based on knowledge needs. By using this virtual practicum has been able to provide knowledge benefits to the physics learning process. This training becomes a reference for trainees to carry out practicum activities virtually in online learning today.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning is a learning model that uses projects as the core of learning (Permendikbud, 2014:20). This learning model is an innovative learning model that involves project work where students work independently in constructing their learning and culminating it in real products (Nanang Hanafiah and Cucu Suhana, 2009:30). Project Based Learning learning model is a learning strategy where students must build their own content knowledge and demonstrate new understanding through various forms of representation (NYC Department of Education 2009:8). characteristics of the PJBL Learning Model The Project Based Learning, learning model was developed based on the level of development of students' thinking, centered on students' learning activities so as to enable them to carry out activities according to their skills, comfort and learning interests. This model gives students the opportunity to determine for themselves the project they will work on, both in terms of formulating questions to be answered, choosing topics to research, and determining research activities to be carried out. The teacher's role in learning is as a facilitator, providing materials and work experience, encouraging students to discuss and solve problems, and ensuring students remain enthusiastic while they carry out the project.
