Abstract

Filtration of sasirangan wastewater using oil palm shell active charcoal coated with chitosan after coagulation with FeSO4 had been done. One of the aims of this research is to compare the value of pH, COD, Turbidity, TSS, total chromium and total lead in sasirangan wastewater after the treatment standards for waste quality set by Peraturan Gubernur Kalimantan Selatan Nomor 036 Tahun 2008, and to determine adsorption ability of filter based on the volume of Pb(II) solution being flown to 50 grams of adsorben. The wastewater of sasirangan was processed by using FeSO4 as coagulant under the optimum conditions at pH 8-10 and concentration 750 mg/l followed by filtration. Parameters of effluent being measured were pH, COD, Turbidity, TSS, total chromium and total lead. Determination of adsorption capacity of the filter  was done by flowing 35 liters of Pb(II) solution into the filter. The results showed that FeSO4 as coagulant has reduced pH value from 8,73-7,95 while the percentage of decrease for COD, TSS, turbidity and total lead were 93,33%, 56,95%, 65,10% and 10% respectively. After sasirangan wastewater was filtered, TSS, turbidity and total lead decreased as much as 77,25%, 87,63% and 77,78%. As much as 50 grams oil palm shell active charcoal coated with chitosan reach its saturation after being passed by 30 liters of Pb(II) solution.  Keywords: Sasirangan wastewater, coagulant FeSO4, active charcoal, chitosan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the reduction of Sonoko Koga's character in the ecranization from novel Ankoku Joshi by Akiyoshi Rikako to live action Ankoku Joshi by director Saiji Yakumo. The research method used is descriptive analysis method. The results of this study indicate the impact of reducing Sonoko Koga's character in the ecranization on other figures. The conclusions obtained from this study is the shringkage or reduction of Sonoko Koga's character in ecranization has an impact on the characterization of the characters Takaoka Shiyo and Nitani Mirei in order to complement the role of Sonoko Koga in the story of Ankoku Joshi. The aspirations of the Sonoko Koga character are not varied from other characters because they are considered to have no effect on the content of the live action story of Ankoku Joshi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between work engagement and job satisfaction, the relationship between work motivation and job satisfaction, and the combined relationship between work engagement and work motivation with job satisfaction among warehouse employees at PT. Duro Bangun Indonesia in East Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative method. The subjects are part-time warehouse employees at PT. Duro Bangun Indonesia in East Jakarta, with a total population of 35 employees. The research sample was selected using simple random sampling. The measuring instruments for this research include three scales: the Job Satisfaction Scale, the Work Engagement Scale, and the Work Motivation Scale. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between work engagement and job satisfaction (, , ). Similarly, there is a significant positive relationship between work motivation and job satisfaction (, , ). Furthermore, work engagement and work motivation together significantly predict job satisfaction (, , ), accounting for or 33.7% of the variance. This indicates that approximately 66.3% of the variance is attributable to other unidentified factors.
